Loses Signal and then restarts constantly. - HTC One V

Hey guys. I need some help, I recently flashed [CDMA] x3reme Sense Rom and at first it worked fine, and no reboots or restarts. I then went ahead according to the instructions on the page and flashed the boot.img. I did that and then right as it gets to the lockscreen it always restarts. I have also noticed that it always seems to reboot when I lose signal. From "Virgin Mobile" to "No Service" and then it restarts over and over again.
I'd really appreciate any help you guys could offer me. Thanks.

What command did you use to flash the boot.img?

I used "fastboot flash boot boot.img" and then "fastboot reboot" after that.

What boot.img did you have before flashing the one from the rom? I'd say just flash that one again... if it worked fine before?

Alright, I'll give that a try.

Flash the boot.img, whichever the dev says, and do a full wipe.
If this doesn't work then you have an upgraded radio(causes problems).you will need to downgrade it using the correct RUU.

[Q] Weird bootloop issue

Alright, so I dun goofed. If some kind soul could help me with this, or just point me in the right direction.
How I dun goofed:
I used the All-In-One Toolkit to unlock bootloader and flash a custom recovery. After that I pulled the boot.img out of the PrimoC CM10 rom and used the toolkit to flash that as the kernel (I realize now this was extremely stupid).
Symptoms:
Cyanogen loading screen comes up and just hangs there. When hboot runs it says "SD checking...Loading...[PK76DIAG.zip] No image! Loading [PK67DIAG.nbh] No image! etc etc etc" eventually, though, I can access the bootloader and from there, the recovery. But when I try to restore my original set up and then reboot the stock Virgin Mobile rom does the same thing and just hangs on the HTC loading screen.
Details:
-Virgin Mobile (CDMA)
-bootloader unlocked, custom recovery (TWRP v2.2.0)
I've tried everything I can think of. I've used the recovery's restore feature, I've tried to reflash a different kernel. Nothing
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

WiFi Problem

Hey guys!
I own an HTC Inspire 4G. I have tried several aosp roms and all of them do the same thing. The wifi works upon first startup after boot and everything. But when I restart the phone the wifi doesn't enable for some reason. I normally install the rom, flash google apps, flash inspiremod and the fastboot the kernel. In the menu the on/off button seems grayed down. HELP!
Thank you!
I just had this happen to me as well. I had to reflash CM10.1 and Wi-Fi was working before I started. Now it's not. This really sucks.
I would suggest to flash the rooted stock rom onto your phones. Then see if wifi works if it does reflash whatecer rom you want without flashing any kernels ansd see if wifi works. I found when I had my inspire flashing stock rom fixed any screw ups that custom roms created.

I got this fixed. I had to flash the boot.img using adb fastboot. Once I did that, wifi started working.

I was also messing up with the fastboot commands. To flash the kernel, I kept initiating the "fastboot boot boot.img". Thisd command is ok but it only boots the phone with that kernel temporarily. So I had to initiate "fastboot flash boot boot.img" this flashes the kernel permanently until overwriten. I forgot one word and it became a headake for a long time! LOL! Anyways thanks all of you for assisting in any way. :victory:

You need to flash a new recovery I think,
I think touch is supported with TWRP 2.5 or 2.6, or philz touch recovery.
I believe that if you flash the new TWRP over the old one, your backups are safe and touch is restored.

fastboot erase cache?
also, are you sure that after you installed the rom, you flashed the corresponding boot.img? Else it will not boot up.

There are no RUU's ..
Best thing to do is to get your recovery working.
Are you sure that after you flashed the recovery you did:
fastboot erase cache
and are you sure your phone is international?

boot.img refers to the actual boot.img you have so you need the correct path to it.
or simple do:
fastboot flash boot (then drag on the boot.img file) 'return'

[Q] Please Help, very big error on my part

Hey guys, I'm new to the HTC one, and I made a mistake. I accidentally formatted my device, the sdcard, firmware, and data, and I'm unable to mount the sdcard and data. I have clockworkmod recovery installed, and the bootloader unlocked, but I'm unable to do much else. When I attempt to flash a rom using sideloader, the screen will just reboot several times. I tried two different roms, CyanogenMod and Stock Rom, by either installing through sideloader or adb, but again, I can't see my SD card. I need help.
How can I fix my phone at this point? I'd be okay with either Stock Rom or CyanogenMod, I just need my phone working.
Please give a newbie a hand guys.
Thanks in advance.

I don't know, but maybe try loading this by following the directions. Maybe you formatted the actual OS completely? This will get you to CM and then from there hopefully flash again
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Install_CM_for_m7vzw
Also, try rebooting JUST the recovery, because then your SD shows up again.

Can you walk us through your steps of sideloading? Wondering if you're doing it correctly.
Also, you should reflash the recovery so that you're 100% positive it is for the VZW One.

Sure, I boot into recovery and use the command adb sideload "zip file here" and get the loading progess percentage and then it loads on my phone, yet it doesn't work right. Also, for some reason, my phone's bootloader has "relocked" when I know for a fact I avoided that command for fear of ruining my chances to fix the phone, now if I attempt to flash recovery to double check, I'm told its not allowed and it fails.

Important: the flash process halts at around 75% to 90% on phone screen! This is normal and a safety precaution!
The last few percent is the reboot, which is NOT happening automatically, so you get a chance to check the console output before reboot to make sure it is safe to reboot

You don't need to flash the stock recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475216
The RUU flashes stock recovery. You can skip the first portion (ADB shell) and the last (write secure flag) in the instructions above.
Basically, just start at
fastboot oem rebootRUU
problem with that.

[Q] Flashed wrong ROM, not booting. S-off.

Hello. A few months back a friend of mine bought an HTC One from Verizon. She lives in Argentina, so the 3g network doesn't work there, just EDGE. Because of that, she tried to flash a custom ROM. I really don't know why, but she flashed this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2626050
So, now her cellphone doesn't boot. She has a nandroid in the phone, but can't use it because there is no recovery (actually the real problem is that the recovery doesn't boot either (CWM)). I think maybe she can try to use fastboot to recover from that backup (at least is what I've read) but, can you explain me how to do that? Other options are welcome too. She says that at least, fastboot is working. Thank you very much!
PD: sorry for my terrible english.

Usually the fastest and easiest fix is to RUU because the partitions are messed up.
But I noticed not only is it a GSM rom but it's for a different device.
