Assuming you have the back cover with the induction shiz. Anyone know if this will work?

Sweet, going to pick one up then.
Any recommendation for the back thing? Zen or the Verizon one?
check the stickied thread about qi wireless chargers. the 2nd post is mine that shows the various different versions and such.
the one i have fits underneath the battery door but causes a slight bump so you'll need a case that is more rigid (aka not the soft silicone ones)
Interesting, my GS3 works perfectly with a palm touchstone charger with a back cover purchased on ebay. And with a nifty nfc tag to enable dock mode, it is a perfect solution for me (and cheap).

the touchstone mod will work just fine, it just has to be paired w/ the touchstone charger.
None of the standards are intercompatible yet. So if you have the touchstone, it will only work w/ touchstone products. Same with powermat only working with powermat products. and finally qi working with only qi products.

I would get it if it includes an extended battery built in...
from what i was reading, it will work with the Qi charging system... lots of info if you google. Bu take that with a grain of salt, who knows...
Looks like HTCPedia has it listed on their site, with a picture here... Looks like it wont' fit under ANY case, with the possible exception of the jelly-style cases that can stretch a bit...
No info on what it's compatible with though, and at 40$, it's a bit steep for me...
The extended battery conflict doesnt bother me much, the car dock is my main complaint to it...hopefully someone will come out with a slim version if possible
Verizon said it will work on the powermat

Hi Experts,
I got the Samsung Galaxy S3 from Verizon. I want to buy a Wireless Charging Kit for my Phone.
I did my research on the Internet, Ebay, Amazon.
All I saw was, the wireless charger, from Palm is about 5-7 Dollars and priced economically.
But I don't know how effectively will it work?
Also, what is the best alternative case that is out there in the market if I'm using this, wireless charger?
Any help is highly appreciated.
Thanks & Peace.
The palm charger won't work at all. You need to find a qi compatible charger.
The Palm setup WILL work, with some modifications to the receiver that goes under your battery cover. I know because I'm using it on mine and my gf's s3's. I'm in the process of building the touchstone into a custom tray in my car. Just read through the accessory forum for the s3. There are a couple of diys on using the Palm wireless charging stuff. You can even buy a battery for on eBay that a guy does the mod on for you so all you need is to buy the battery door from him and a Palm touchstone and you're in business. Do more looking, the answers are out there

it won't work for the OP because he's using qi standard while what you're doing is using touchstone standards.
to answer the op's question, no the touchstone charger will not work with the verizon wireless charging back.

As I understood his original post, he hasn't bought the Verizon charging cover yet in which case he could use the touchstone setup for a lot less money.

oops. misread on my part.
Then it's as alex said.
there are several guides in this forum that gives you a step by step to do the touchstone mod. but one thing to note is that depending on parts, it can block NFC.
I personally have the Qi kit (search ebay for i9300 qi wireless) and i am able to retain all the functions of my phone. (if you're going qi, then check out my post in the stickied thread about some questions that were asked and also some examples of brands and products out there)

Hi,
Is there a case or cover that still lets the Qi wireless charging work?
Thanks,
Josh

Ok cool. I ordered the Moko and the Poetic thin cases. I found in another thread where some guys said they worked with some charges.

I can confirm that both of those mentioned cases do work. I have both of them and wireless charging works with both slim versions.

Anyone have experience with the moko slim case here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DE8R3BO/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
edit: Found this nice list: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2402341
no one mentions my case, but it's similar to another moko case so I'm gonna assume it works.

5mm thickness is the QI standard. It can charge up to 5mm distances. I would say most cases will work.

I did a review on my Qi Charger and tested it with my Poetic Case and it worked
I asked the TreeGloo people asking if theirs works with the Qi charger. They said the slim case does. Got one on order and keep it in a sleeve for now until it comes in.
Thanks for the info, I've been looking at getting a Qi charger for my N7 and wanted to make sure that it would work with my current slim case.

Well one of my friend owns a QI charger for her N7(2013) and its not creating any differences with the cases...and working pretty well...so no worries...
Just received my white Nokia DT900 in the mail today. It charges perfectly with my Moko UltraSlim case on my N7 FHD! AT&T currently has the DT900 on sale for only $24-25 AND in all colors Nokia offers! Amazon has the Nokia DT900 in black for just a few dollars more, but all other colors increase the price by almost double! AT&T allows you to choose whatever color you want for the same low price! Moko UltraSlim case is very similar (almost identical actually) to the Poetic Slimline, Nilkin, and many others. I only have the Moko UltraSlim case, so I cant assure anyone that the DT900 will definitely charge through any other case. That said, I don't see why any of those other cases wouldn't work with the DT900. I highly recommend the Nokia DT900 Qi charger!! Don't just take my word for it though, do a Google search for "Nokia DT900" and see for yourself the positive reviews after positive reviews and happy customers for this charger with multiple devices and multiple cases!

I have several cases. None interfere with Qi Charging. I think its max is 5" which is pretty large area. As long as there is no metal in the case.

Has anyone found a QI Wireless Charging case for the Moto X (VZW Dev Edition if that matters). I have a bunch of chargers for my old phone, but I'm back to a mess of wires everywhere now that I have the Moto X. It's the ONLY thing about this phone that I regret.
All that I've seen so far is the Powermat case (that looks quite bulky). I don't know that the phone was popular enough for other companies to jump in. I'm interested to see if the sale changed that, because this is something that could potentially be of use to me as well.
I believe Incipio makes a Qi case for the Moto X.

The Incipio is not a QI case. It is PMA. The QI chargers will not work.

Took delivery of the official Qi Charger today, can confirm that it works with the Asus Premium cover (just).

One thing worth noting, the wireless charger appears to be very fussy about the cable and wall charger used to power it.
Works absolutely fine with the supplied cable/charger but doesn't seem to like most other combinations.

Thanks for the info, if you have a tpu case to hand, could let us know if it charges through the case?
Cheers
Rob
Just to let people know, you can also use a Nokia charging pad. It takes about 30 minutes longer to charger a full charge. It works with it in my poetic case and it's not that sensitive to where it is placed on it.
Have just tried the charger with a Tecknet TPU case fitted, it works but as with official case the magnetic effect is reduced making it slightly harder to hit the sweet spot.
