hi just received my long awaited qi wireless pad from china only to find it does not include the receiver part that fits over battery, bahh!!!
does anyone know where i can purchase one from in the UK ,Dont want to wait all that time again ,your help would be greatly appreciated .
sorry, but that seems to be the only choice unless you can find an ebay seller who sells in the UK.
You might want to contact that seller to get them to ship the receiver pad to you.
I would've suggested against getting the transmitter from them to begin with though. apparently the 2nd gen ones are picky and unreliable.

sorry, can't help you with a UK vendor. But this vendor shipped to me within hours (good communications, emails, etc.). Ordered 2 days ago so don't know how long it will take. But for now at $14.80/gbp9.80 you can't go wrong. Good luck.

Something you don't want to hear, is these receiver are becoming unreliable just like the transmitter, with cases reported to either DOA or stop working after a while with some of the new batches, there are some good new, it's only a small %.
Apparently it's all related to rushed production with bad QC due to great demand.
Mostly with the name 'Charmlink' printed on the front label, so it's best to ask if there is warranty for them.
Another option for Canada and USA buyers, this guarantees no bulky look because it replaces a new cover for you.:good:

that's pretty slick. Should have been stock from Samsung so cases were built off those specs. I would imagine any case that fits well won't work with that cover. Still pretty sweet setup.
that back piece will not fit with any case whatsoever. It's a different size and you'll either have to mod the case or the battery cover.
The receiver pad by itself would add a slight bump that can be circumvented with a more "restricting" case like the otterbox or the ballistic sg

That's because the new case makes the phone thicker, but no bulk because the bulk is hidden by the thickness of the cover..... That's why ,out of all those pics in the Ad, not one shows what the inside of the Cover looks like....LOL...they are thinking it will scare buyers off...lol.,...

Samsung didn't and does not plan for the phone to be as thick as it will be with this cover on....Here is a Pic of what the other side looks like....now you get a better idea of how thick it is....They left the pics of the back off , out of the Ad for a reason....LOL..

got my Qi pad from Fasttech today. Ordered the 28th, shipped the 30th. Arrived today. Currently $14.80 shipped Also got the wireless charger from Nokia. $38 with company discount (otherwise about $50) from ATT or Verizon. Works like a champ.
Fun Facts
Fits under OEM cover. Small Hump, barely noticeable. (< 1/16 inch hump)
Diztronic TPU Matte Black Case fits great
Charges about 10% in 30 Minutes. Similar to plug.
NFC works fine. Zero issues.
for Reference, I am running DarthStalker X, Stock Kernel.
yup. the Qi receiver pad seems the be the best choice in terms of getting to put your own case of choice as well as not losing NFC at the same time.
I believe the charging speed is a little faster than usb but slower than AC (according to the receiver pad).
the more flexible cases seem to be the ones that can cope with the bump.
Could anyone recommend a trusted website or seller to by the charging pad from?

Be careful buying the Leather cases from ONLINE. i live here in HK and Shenzhen, and i know they make the copy version looking the exact same but its not the same quality leather plus the inside part that touches the screen of the galaxy note is different. personally i used the original leather white case for about one month then i switched because even the originals will wear down and start to peel away depending how ruff you are with your cases.
Personally now i carry the ZENUS Case and i love it alot more.

Thanks fir the heads up, i liked the Samsung version because its less bulky. But your case looks very nice. Thanks again
I have one I am not using but when I sell the phone I am sure the new owner will want it. I bought a used White Note and decided i did not like white as the phone was to conspicuous already, . Regualar cases are too bulky so I began looking for the blue Samsung flip cases to cover the white up. but decided after actually using the white one for a few days, it was a PIA to take a call on and decided not to deal with any case and just skin the phone with Decalrus.com
I too have been looking for the international flip OEM case in white...no luck. I've seen a few on Ebay and when I asked the Sellers they said it would fit. Upon researching I found they would not fit. I saw a review on Amazon where someone said they bought one on expansy, but they are sold out of white, they do have the dark navy though for $24.99. Please, if anybody has for sale or knows where one can be bought, do tell Thank you.
Hi everyone thanks for the tips on finding a case. I found one on ebay that the seller states is OEM and its for the international SGN and shows pictures of the battery clips for reference and says its NOT for the At&t version. The price wasn't bad either $13.99 with free shipping. Seller does not have perfect feedback but for $13.99 i took a gamble. Ill post back after i receive it and comment on fit and finish. Thank you again for the help and responses.
Here's the ebay link.

I contacted this seller and asked if it was the Samsung case, because my experience on eBay has been with sellers in Hong Kong or China that they make their own and put Samsung's branding on. They replied this morning and it is in fact not an original Samsung. Ugh....maybe you don't mind that, but I do....I want real oem dang it!
Well that sucks! Lol i just went with what they're listing said... Oh well for $14 i can't complain too much. Thanks for the heads up though
You never know, it could look and function just as well as Samsung's........but whenever you see a seller claiming an "oem" item and you see they are from Hong Kong/China/etc...ask them if it's real oem and not made by their factory. The seller did reply that the case was made with the "finest craftsmanship". But please, if you think of it, let us know how it is when you get it.

Next time just shoot me a message and i can tell you right away if it is real leather or fake or real oem. The 9only reason why i can tell is because i moved to shenzhen 3 years ago and I'm like 10 mins from Hong Kong.
The fake original cases you see on ebay are made of **** quality leather and the glue they use is not great at all. plus the soft valvet side that actually touches your phone is extremely different, and the cut out hole area for the ear peice is to wide, and the Samsung logo on the back is made from a very cheap shiny plastic. If you live here you can buy them for around 4-5$ USD.

I was excited about seeing this. Evidently made by Generic (or maybe just sold by them). Not seeing many good reviews of the company.
I bought it. Oddly the offer links you to this case: www.all4cellular.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-power-bank-external-battery-case-2200-mah.html
This clearly isn't the 3200 from the offer. Of course I'm going to make sure I get the one that retails for $79.99. For 32 bucks, don't think it's that big a gamble unless it doesn't function at all. But if anyone has any experience with these cases, please do share!
EDIT: Placed order on black one of these http://www.all4cellular.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-extended-battery-case-3200-mah.html

I took a close look at the pictures and if you see the holes for the camera/speaker you will see how deep it goes before meeting with the device. Seems too thick for me.

Agreed, I'd never consider using something like this on a daily basis. Only for long travel days or weekend trips, anything where you won't be around a socket for awhile. Obviously there is a compromise between size and battery capacity. I think this would be easier than carrying around a spare battery and having to swap it out. However I've never used anything like this before.

I took delivery and immediately sent it back. They were selling it for 29.99 and raised the price to 79.99 just to make the deal more appealing. That's all you should need to know about how they do business. Luckily Google refunded my purchase without hesitation.
Now, the actual case is incredibly cheap feeling and looking. The stand is dinky and the best part is the back says "Sanmsung Galaxy S III". Yep, incorrectly spelled. There are plenty of these on ebay where you can clearly see the spelling mistake if you want to look for yourself. I found a YouTube review that elaborated on how much of a waste of money it was too. You get the point. Don't buy this product; do yourself that favor at least.
After ordering I did some reading about these types of cases in general. It seems that they waste a ton of the battery capacity in transfer via heat or otherwise. You're much better off getting a bigger battery which results in similar thickness anyway. I went with a 4200 mah qcell (about 20 bucks) and have been getting great results. The hyperion battery is good as well. Both have many endorsements all over this forum.
Personally, I wouldn't buy anything through this retailer ever again. I don't trust their pricing or their products.
EDIT: this is in regards to All 4 Cellular, not trait-tech
I bought 3200mAh Rechargeable External Battery Backup Power Case with PU Leather Cover for Samsung Galaxy S III, only $ 23.90,I think it is a good Galaxy S III External Battery Case.
Just purchased this from Amazon http://amzn.com/B0041RRORA and it works perfectly with the inductive cover from Verizon
I will post pictures tomorrow after work, but here are some pictures of the battery door on the device. They are $39.99 from Verizon, but I got 2 for that same price, they owed me big from past issues.
So total I spent $70 for the kit and I can charge 2 devices at once, so it's win win for me and my gf. Only downside is that non of my cases fit anymore going to have to see if I can find one that will be able to protect my phone and have the wireless charging capabilities.

Why does the Verizon GSIII and only the Verizon GSIII have to have 2 sets if pins for inductive charging while every single other variant available just has the 1?... Well I'm doubting these covers will work on non Verizon GS3s seeing as only 1 set of pins would be connected to the device and not the pins at the bottom near the sim slot which are present on the black strip on the cover.
I don't know for sure as I really don't want to spend the money on something that may or may not work for my phone and none of the Verizons around me have it to go in and try. I would love to be proven it does work with the others. Samsung is taking too long releasing the official kit.

Once i pulled the wireless charger off of the verizon case. I turned my phone over put the wireless charger onto my phone and then just put the back of the otterbox straight onto the phone and charger.. when your peeling the wireless charger off the case if you go slow the tape will come off with it and then it will just stick straight to the otterbox.

They have them at Verizon stores, they are pricey though ($40 plus $30 for the pad) I'm sure once they are more available, they will be cheaper. But it's worth it to me to not have to strain the usb port. Think I am going to make one for my car center console. I will post pictures if I ever get to it.

THANKS....this looks sweet. i might have to try this out. i always wondered that. how does the wireless charging work. I hope they add one with a flip case and one with a car mount. How cool would that be with a cig lighter port with wireless charging. Yah. thanks guys..
My g4 is coming tomorrow and I want the official case with wireless charging. AT&T only had a purple one when I checked out and seems that's all the other carriers are carrying too. Can't find them anywhere except for a site called mobile fun and they are for the international version. Are they not out yet?

Wich does exactly the same as the original QCase.
Just picked mine up at Best Buy for $49.95 which is $10 cheaper than through the T-Mobile store. Both have them in stock.
A note of caution about seemingly "Genuine OEM" products such as these sourced from overseas...I spend a lot of time in places like Hong Kong and Shanghai where these sort of things are readily available. Having bought things like these in places like those I can say that though they may look the business more often than not they are just very well-crafted knockoffs. Which means that they will not necessarily give you the expected quality of fit and longevity you may desire. Of course your experience may be different. And once you get done shipping it the price difference evaporates as well. Just my $0.02...
Yeah I saw those auction's before and that's why I didn't buy from them

Just picked mine up at Best Buy for $49.95 which is $10 cheaper than through the T-Mobile store. Both have them in stock.
A note of caution about seemingly "Genuine OEM" products such as these sourced from overseas...I spend a lot of time in places like Hong Kong and Shanghai where these sort of things are readily available. Not specifically; I'm unfamiliar with that particular brand. I was speaking generally. Your experience with their products is certainly more relevant.
Yeah I'd be leary to trust an eBay seller claiming they have authentic imports from china. China is also known for poor quality knock offs that take 6 weeks to get to your door. I didn't even think about ordering from there when I saw that and glad I didn't since my version of the g4 is only compatible with power mat anyway

Yes, i can say Nillkin product are excelent quality stuff. Many people of my country buy them specially the tempered glasses and never saw someone disappointed.
Just ordered this for $10 shipped by Prime. I don't care its OEM or not. I just wanna try it on the Qi Charging with my LG WCD 100 or Samsung S4 Qi Charging pad. Xd

Does it look like that replaced the stock back? (I'm actually hoping it does)
None of them actually mention whether they support Qi or Powermat?
This could get expensive

Wich does exactly the same as the original QCase.

I purchased this case as well about 2 weeks ago
I can't say anything about whether or not you can charge via some kind of wireless thing but I love this case and I have gotten many compliments on it.
the AT&T H810 supports Qi just fine, I got this same Circle Case which has both Qi Wireless and NFC built-in to the case with the sticker and it works out of the box with 3 different types of Qi Chargers, some from eBay, Amazon and the Tylt.
I haven't tested any Powermat cases or chargers yet. Hope that helps.
I've been using the yootech one from amazon http://smile.amazon.com/Yootech®-Wireless-Standard-Charging-receiver/dp/B00YL0EKWE/ and its great. I do somewhat miss the leather back it replaced but I really love the quick circle functionality.
Keep us (or just me) posted on how it feels nd what you think of it, nice case btw

What color you bought 'black' or 'brown'? Just want to know how black looks, if you bought this. I'm also planning to go either Nillkin Sparkle or QIN leather case for my G4 H818N. BTW, how is the ports fits, specifically charging port?
In my searching for a charging stand, I came across these that I thought may be of interest to others here but I hadn't seen anyone post them.

Looks nice, but the one the OP posted is priced better. Plus shipping is only $8.00 for California so I'm thinking about going with the one OP posted and save some money.
That last one looks really nice, but with shipping is very pricey
Unfortunately the prices listed are the best we can do. After everything that we put into this including shipping supplies, material, rubber feet and Microsuede, and then we get hit with high services charges there isn't much we can do. Remember you get what you pay for. Thanks!

Hi, how much did you have to shave? Was it difficult?
D.
maybe a cm? it was fairly easy, just traced around the charger then took an exacto knife to it. might have taken me 10m or so. the charger sits up a few mm from flush, and I have to say the watch has aligned properly and started charging on the first try every time. I would only get it to charge 2 out of 3 times before

How long did it take for you to get yours after ordering it? I've not even got an email letting me know when it'll be coming.

how does the charger attach to the stand? do you mind taking some pictures of it without the watch and phone? is there any padding where the phone rests? I'd worry that bare aluminum would scratch the phone. lastly,is that a case or skin on your phone? love the red sides

I've literally just blu-tacked the puck onto the stand. There is padding for the phone support, a little bit of rubber. The padding for the watch area I added myself using a bit of felt type material. And yes that is a skin on my phone I have attached an image, the back is a black matte dbrand and the size are red true color. The stand is completely modular as well so you can add any phone in any orientation.

I received this stand yesterday and I love it. It is great to have my phone and watch on the same stand. It took 2 weeks to arrive from China to the U.S. The watch stand is made to hold an Apple Watch charging puck. The hole in the metal is surrounded by a rubber grommet. The Huawei charging puck is too big to even begin to fit the hole so I temporarily fastened the puck using blue tape to the stand in the position I wanted . I then turned the stand over and filled the opening in the back with hot glue. I left the grommet in the opening which, if necessary, allows me to rotate the position of the charger if needed. Positioning the watch to attach properly to the charger is easy since if it doesn't connect on the first touch, you can slightly tweak the watch while the puck is held in place.

After 3 weeks, no stand and no response from the seller. Opened a PayPal dispute several days ago and the seller has not responded. Do not buy the first item in the OP!

Thats really sad to hear, makes all of us selling online look bad. I knew that price was too good to be true as the seller is making very little if any profit, and probably doesn't care about his customers. Lesson learned
The same exact thing happened to me last week but with the second stand listed (same seller) - after 3 weeks, no stand and no response from the seller. I opened a PayPal dispute last week and the seller has not responded.
Do not buy the second item in the OP!
Really unfortunate because I have not seen another stand that has those notches to keep the watch aligned.
