Hello!
My stock music player doesn.t seems to see the ext sd card... so i have to copy the 2 gb to internal sd...
Before updating to 4.1.2, i had to rename the music folder in extsdcard, but now that doesn.t work anymore
Anyone know what could solve this?
Or at least recommand another music player which can see my ext sd card.
Thank you!

I am using a 64gb SD card with my s3 and want to download my music to it. Aside from the no apps to SD card issue, the Amazon mp3 app lacks the option to save data to SD.
I moved the data folder to the SD card and music plays fine. After that, I renamed the amazon folder on the internal storage and tried a download. The app created a new folder and downloaded the album to internal storage.
Any ideas on how to get my downloads headed straight to the sd card?
Stock Sprint 32gb s3. Sandisk 64gb class 10 card.
Thanks!
I would like the answer to this as well if anyone knows
Pretty sure this is an issue with the app itself. I wonder if you could create a symbolic link to the extSD card to fool the app into storing the files there instead. Anyone?
What I do is everytime I download some music from AmazonMP3 is just cut and paste the music folder to the extSdCard. Not sure how the whole symlink thing works.
Play music download to the SD card rather than internal
Very vag.... Can you please be a bit more specific????
I download music to my sd card all the time and play it using any number of music players.

Click to collapse
I don't think you can set it up in Google Music to download them to the SD card. You can use a file manager like Root Explorer or something and maybe manually move them to the SD card.

would it still see them?
They aren't visible anyway I believe but for room you could find where it downloads and use a symlink?
So says Latinmaxima, so it shall be done!
Hello Guys!
I hope anybody can help me. I have a new sd card and where did get all data from the old to the new card, which I still lack is my music playlist, can someone tell me where can I find it on the sd card?
Already own searched but unfortunately without success!
The music playlist is just a link to the file on the SD Card. Restore the data from the other SD Card exactly as it was onto the new one and it should work. Then rescan you media on your preferred player
I bought the xda app. Problem?
After I formatted my SD card with exFAT format,my Note 2 music player can successfully read mp3 files that stored on external SD card. But XBMC still failed to find external sd card. I dont know why. Did anyone know how to solve this issue?
Thanks
Try formating it using a fat32 formatter
Thank me for F**K sake..
I want to know if there's a way to install games in the sd card, i got an sd card of 32 gb and i can't play games if the obb files are not stored on internal memory which is annoying because i run out of space and my sd card of 32 gb is almost useless because the obb files stored there doesn't work. I tried foldermount but i don't like and i don't understand i want to know if there's a way to swap internal storage or something??

Ok. I actually installed folder mount, and it works and it's really helpful. Thanks for your help.
