Hi All,
I came from a HTC device which I used a superwipe script which always came in handy. By any chance is their one for the Note 2?
If not can one be made? Is IT hard?
Thanks

Hi All,
Finally jumped ship and got the GSM Galaxy Nexus (UK Vodaphone). I am very used to android / rooting / custom roms and have always used Nexus phones due to the possibilities with the phone.
Anyone recommend the first thing to do with my Galaxy Nexus? Try out stock or root and put JellyBean on?
Let me know your suggestions
Thanks guys,
Thom:victory:
Welcome ...
I think you should stick with stock for awhile so you could compare it with custom roms.
fastboot oem unlock
Thanks guys, yeah might stick with stock for a while, get used to the phone and have fun Great to be part of this community!!
Hello guys,
On Galaxy Note N7000, i was using the Dual Boot Script from @chuandinh. With this script:
There was 5 slots (3 on extsdcard, 2 on intsdcard) and of course one normal phone rom. so it was possible to flash 6 different roms. And the kernels were modded to support dual boot script. that is the basic introduction.
The details and the script examples are on the official topic of chuandinh: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1748588
I was wondering if there is a dev which can give us a support like @chuandinh did on N7000 devices. It was really so amazing to switch between totally different roms just in seconds.
P.S. I hope that I out this thread on the right Forum
I'd love dual boot too... I just got a Note 2 and gave my S3 to my wife^^
Only think I miss so far is dual booting!
Hi all,
wondered if anyone can help.
I have a note 2 the n7105 version, I'm in the UK, I'm a bit new to the rom thing and was testing out flashing some roms yesterday, but I kept getting errors, then I think I found the problem I was trying to flash n7100 roms.
Am I right I need a rom for the n7105 as others won't work? And if so can anyone suggest any cool ones, I wouldn't mind trying one with Android 4.2 base as I don't mind losing spen features, just to play with it
You can flash any rom from the AT&T Galaxy Note 2 section, just flash a N7105 kernel afterwards!

Hey all, Just got my Note 2 a couple of days ago and rooted with NoYouVerizon. Now I am looking for a stock de-bloated ROM. I came from an HTC Thunderbolt and so far I am loving the Note.
I see there is an Index for the N7100 ROMS but nothing listed for my SCH-I605. I'm pretty new to Samsung and so I don't know if the N7100 ROMS can be used for mine.
I'm looking specifically for a de-bloat, de-odexed ROM right now but will probably want to flash something else later on.
Hey,
If you have a Verizon phone, there are a few Verizon ROMs here for the Galaxy note 2.
I'm updating the lists now.. That's why I saw your post.
Thank you.
so does that mean you can not flash a N7100, N7105 on a Verizon i605 phone ?
Thank you.
Hi, I'm really a galaxy y user and have been flashing back and forth from stock and custom roms. If i wanted to flash my galaxy y, all i need to know is what region and what version of rom I want to be able to flash my Galaxy y. But when I encountered HTC, I don't know where to start.
I have a friend who has a bricked HTC Wild Fire S and I would like to help my friend get it back up and running.
My friend has a HTC Wild Fire S bought in singapore and to be used in the philippines. I've read that having a different rom region other than the one you're in will mean you won't be able to use the phone to it's maximum potential.
Anyone who could help me what rom to download and use? Thanks in advance!

The rom types can be divided broadly into 3 categories on the WFS
1. GSM(device codename "marvel")
2. CDMA(device codename "marvelc")
3. 2012 GSM (codenamed "marvel" but require a separate compatible kernel to be flashed for roms to work in most cases, otherwise it would be written as "2012 WFS compatible")
I'd say you go over the thread below for seeing which WFS your friend has and what can be flashed
