Touchwiz ROM - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I searched but didn't see an answer. There are a few ROMs that are stock. I'd like to know which ones are the closest to what you'd get out of the box, has Wi-Fi tethering enabled, and is touch wiz based so I keep the touch wiz apps. All apps enabled to multi window would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.

I've tried a bunch of them and my favorite is are the ones created by Scott's Roms.
Cleanrom ATT SE 1.2 is pretty close to the stock rom without all the bloatware.

Most the roms that are out there for gn2 are wifi tether enabled. As iiqwertyii said scotts clean rom is probably going to be the closest you're going to get to stock.

Me too. Scotts ROM's are super high quality. I have tried AOSP pure Android and other Touchwiz ROM's, but cleanROM is best.

I wish someone would make this rom

The rom want most is an aokp rom that has snote and my spen features. Even Aosp, I just do not like touch wiz and the way it looks, I just want simple Android or aokp and my spen.
This would be the ultimate rom, also the tablet mode gmail!

I've tried that rom out, and most of them, the closest one is jelly beans, but you can't send pictures through texts and it had a few problems
Many of the SPen apps/features are proprietary, so odds are you won't see them in AOSP.
@ work, so can't find a link for you, but
a) you won't find an actual aosp ROM with those actual apps, they are TW only. but you might find an aosp themed TW base rom if you look. (which I'm sure you already have)
2) I think in one of the actual aosp ROMs has a list of "replacement" apps for both those...
Sent from my calculator watch.
OK, found the thread I was thinking of...
The Official CyanogenMod Thread has a post Here about replacement apps for AOSP ROMs.
Not using an AOSP variant at this point on this phone, so can'y comment re: function/bugs/whatever. (Frankly, don't hate TW at all (esp if you use an aftermarket launcher), and this phone isnt needing anything trimmed down for bloat for better function. Yet.)
Hmm...I think requests and wish lists falls under Help issues

So there is no way to back up snote and have it work on another rom?
Would it be possible to mod touchwiz and basically make it like aosp? Or combine it like pacman or something?

I have seen touchwiz launchers on none samsung ROM's but that is all you would get. Multiwindow will not and can not work on a nonsamsung based rom. Not until something is built from scratch to emulate what it does...so nope

No. TW and AOSP are entirely different frameworks.

Oh ok, is there a theme then? I saw in the play store that there was a touch wiz theme of the galaxy s4 which is what I wanted for cm10.1 but it says for T-Mobile theme chooser. Would it not work for my device if I went to cm10.1?

I believe CM still uses the t-mobile theme chooser. It's been a while since I used it... question if you want TW features why not use a samsung based ROM then ?

Agrred. Check the Android Development section. There are loads of TW ROMS, even some that look like AOSP but include TW features.

Well I'm actually using the hyperdrive 10 ROM and I noticed you've used it too. I like it but my signal stays on h+ or 3g and I don't get 4g unless I go to stock or cm10. And cm also had great battery life with my phone and I think it also has working group message and no problems at all. I'm thinking of either going back to the backup of csrom 1.2 or going to cm for battery life and a good signal because hyperdrive isn't working well and I want a touch wiz look.

nope. backups made in a respective custom recovery cannot be restored in another custom recovery.
what you can do is reinstall cwm, restore your backup and then install twrp again.
post #2 in the link in my signature has both cwm (6.0.3.0) and twrp (2.4.3.0) recovery-flashable zips under "Build your own Must Have toolkit"

That would depend on what is Sacs rom and what do you really want out of your phone. There are a number of great roms. you just have to choose the one you like,

This is the first Android phone that I have had where I actually have no desire to flash any custom ROMs. That's how great this phone is (and how not crappy Touchwiz is). I mean, Touchwiz isn't the greatest, and it is full of bloat, but it doesn't get in the way at all. Also, i've used Xposed Framework to add some of the tweaks that I normally like from some other ROMs.
So even if your favorite ROM isn't available yet for the Note 3, I would still say it's never a bad time to make the jump. It's a great phone no matter if it's ROM'd or stock.
Sacs custom ROM has many visual and software features keeps touchwiz but removes crappy apps like s health but still keeps some I use like group play and stock notification except allowing the change of colors notification icon colors but also allows me to choose between different launchers at install without meshing them all together ( I like KitKat) comes with a custom kernel but I can flash another, oh and comes with a lot of small adjustments like hotspot tweak (unlimited) and more but basically I'm looking for those 3 main things in a ROM
Touchwiz with less crap
KitKat launcher
And hotspot tweak

Touchwiz with Aosp rom?

If that was possible then the developers here in xda would ported many
of the Touchwiz's features into the CM/AOSP/AOKP/GE roms.
Good luck trying!
Yeah I understand. But there are flash able zip around the forum for different touchwizs that work with cm or aosp rom. The only problem is that they don't work with the s4 roms. Anyways, thanks for the reply

Understand that Touchwiz isn't simply an app. Touchwiz IS the rom that comes stock with Samsung devices.
You can't extract it and install it in other roms because it IS a rom.
It would be the same as trying to install CyanogenMod into TouchWiz.
Now, if you are talking about trying to install the elements of Touchwiz like the gesture stuff and eyeball tracking and what not...no. Those aren't portable into AOSP based ROMs. Theoretically those elements could be ported, but the developers who would have to put in hours and hours of work to reverse engineer them and figure out how to port them largely consider those features to be hokey gimmicks that aren't worth the time to mess with. So there are no plans to move those elements to AOSP ROMs (Wifi calling being the lone exception. Everyone wants that ported. Lots of people have tried to mess with it. So far it's not been successful.)
Thanks for the reply. Sorry if I sound demanding. I really appreciate the response. So no way to get the launcher itself and not the sensors or gestures?

The launcher that comes with TouchWiz? There's nothing super special about it. There are a dozen other launchers on Google Play that do more.
Yeah I like the fluidity and animations though. Is it possible to port that for me? Just the launcher

The fluidity that you seek is there on all other launchers. That's the phone's hardware mixed with Android's Project Butter, which is an increased frame rate native to the system that makes everything suiper smooth. It has nothing to do with the TouchWiz launcher.
As for animations, just about all other launghers have those same snimations and more.
But if you're REALLY set on trying it....
