I don't think FXP has included it in their releases.
Look for custom CM10 kernel. Yes, that means you go and search in Development section, neither I or someone else will do the job for you.

Then it has not been included and there is no kernel for CM10 with 2way call recording.

Call Recorder

Here's an age old question:
Does anyone know of a reliable call recording app. One that doesnt require you to use speaker phone to record the other person.
Many thanks.
Your kernel has to be modified to allow two-way call recording, I think. I don't know which ones have it, if any, because I never use it. It's not the app that keeps it from working, it's the phone.

Good to know. Thank you.
Hopefully a kernel dev chimes in... id like to know as well... or someone who has tested a working kernel....
The current version of the Freedom kernel for Sense Gingerbread has In Call Recording support. It causes other issues at the moment that the dev is trying to work out so I have not used it. I am not aware of any other kernels (Sense or AOSP) but I am sure they are out there.

Pls help! Can't make emergency calls

In the latest nightlies of CM9 and AOKP, I can't call 911, 999 (the emergency number of Hong Kong). The call is ended right after I dial.
When I have a factory reset of CM9, I can make the calls. So, it is related to the apps I installed or settings I've done.
I've uploaded the logcat. Can anyone help me to find out the cause? Not able to make emergency calls is potentially very dangerous.

Thank you in advance!

A known bug for 4.0? Or just CM and CM related ROMs?
But I can make the calls after factory reset. So I though it was related to apps, instead of the OS. And therefore I posted in teh Apps forum.
edit: I made a little search in xda before I posted. I saw only posts whom the owners can only make emergency calls, not normal ones.

Are you running a stock ROM or a custom? If you're running custom, which ROM?
The stock one still E29.

Oh, not sure on that, I don't know how much control you have over a stock ROM but since you're rooted there might be some apps in the market for volume control.. If you are intent on remaining with GB for awhile you might look into a few GB custom ROMs that might help the volume issue.
Check out Rujelus22's Blu Kuban for Gingerbread, also Calkulin's GB ROM and PhantomHacker's Blazer ROM which seems to be real popular with the GB crowd.
Thank you. I want to put cm9 on here as my first room to try. Think that might help?

It might but be sure and do your homework. Read both cm9 threads thoroughly. There's one here in the general forum and of course the one in the Developer's forum and always ask questions before you take any step you are unsure of.

This seems to be the most commonly askes question in all the ICS and JB threads. If you search through the Desire HD development forums (fora???) you'll see evry single ROM with ICS and JB has camera issues of one kind or another. Some of them have a semi-working camera, some can record video without sound, but up til now, none at all work completely. There is also an issue as to which camera chip is in your phone, different regions/countries/networks seem to have different cameras, and I haven't yet seen anyone post a definitive guide to what is where, and what works with each ROM. All I can suggest is read all the posts in the ICS dev threads, make a backup of your current ROM and flash away until you find the one that works best for you. A lot of people are hopeful that the newer Jellybean ROMS will be fully functional shortly, but for now, if a working camera is a must, stick to Gingerbread and use an ICS theme with a launcher like ADW or GO.

[Q] Manually enabling 2-way call recording

Hello everyone. I have a Galaxy S3 AT&T Jelly bean 4.1.1. on the stock kernel that is rooted. Is there a way to manually enable call recording from a build.prop editor app? If so what do i need to edit? Is there any stock kernels I can use or any kernels at all I can install without having to install a different rom?
I have already created a back up. Thanks in advance

I don't think there is. Call recording is illegal in too many places so I doubt we will see it for a little bit still.
Feel free to prove me wrong though.

1) how are they gonna know you've got 2 way call recording? Unless your dumb enough to tell them 2) there were kernels and roms that were ics that had 2 way call recording enabled. And there are guides around that show how to get that going

You are required to tell them and if you dont and they find out they can have you brought up on charges and arrested. Most of the guides came from the Euro version as it is not as illegal over there like it is in the states where you will never find a stock kernel with it enabled. Even google disables it by default on AOSP source code.
