Guys, few weeks ago ive been experiencing a messaging problem. When I open Messaging, it appears that it is empty. I have to restart my phone to view/retrieve my messages again. Please help. Thanks

I get this too. So far a reboot is the only solution I've found. Force stopping and restarting doesn't help.
Happens on both stock and omega rom

I flashed CM10 and am running the latest nightly (12/13/12) and I didn't run into this issue until I had to flash back to stock after getting an error trying the unofficial 4.2 release. Anyways after flashing back and getting my phone to working order. So GMail has sync errors, doesn't show all new emails, while on my CPU they are unread and new. Also after installing a new app or rebooting where I have it on my dock it disappears and I have to move it back. Tried uninstall and reinstall and no fix.
And for the SD card issue, I think its just not fixable, but I reformatted it three times, still says unmounted unexpectedly and stuff randomly are there any fixed to this also?
Thanks guys!

Clearing the cache didn't help?
I will try this again.

And it did not fix either.

What version of gapps are you using?
4.2.1 I believe it is the latest cause I don't have an update available. Its official Google.

Update: SD card is fixed, I think. Still experiencing GMail issues.

Had to resort to a factory reset/data wipe. Seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the troubleshooting tips guys.

This happened to me a few weeks ago. Ive read on the forum that there might be a bad image file thats causing the gallery app to keep running. So what I did is I delete all the pictures I have on tje phone and started fresh. Since then I havent seen gallery took so much of off the battery.

What I did is first go to manage apps. Head down to media storage and clear data. Reboot phone. See if that works. If not then I have backed up both sd cards to pc. Cleared both and formatted them and put it all back on reboot the phone and ur golden.

Ok so I have formatted sd card as well as did a hard reset on my phone. This seems to work for now. I will report if the gallery starts acting up again. Thanks guys.My battery is doing much better today.

All my custom words from my stock keyboard got deleted after a reboot. And now i'm not able to get any more custom words saved. Any fixes? Any way of getting back all those words? Please help. I'm on GT N-7100 JB 4.1.2 stock ROM, Build MA6. I've never rooted my phone.
And yes I tried rebooting again but that didn't fix the issue. You can imagine how much a turn off this glitch can be. I'm someone who rely a lot on custom words Someone, help

If you'd have rooted I would have recommend fix permission.
But for now try factory reset.

Would it help if I root now?

Got the issue sorted. Just had to reset the keyboard settings. Thank you. I'm not gonna get back those lost words though.

Have my note 2 for about 6 months and love the stock browser. Don't want to use a third party browser.
But since a week my browser keeps crashing after I initiate a download.
Every time with no exceptions.
Tried t empty cache / buffer and erased all info I could in app info and in restored factory default of the browser app.
Without succes.
Does anyone have a solution to fix this?
I searched my ass of here an via Google, found similar problems bit no solutions.
Thnx!
P.s.
Device was never rooted and is stock on 4.1.2.

The same with my phone. Only the browser crashes wether I download or not. But only once per session.
After that first crash, it tend to work flawlessly for the rest of that surf session. Regardless of the length.
So maybe you should try downloading a second time after crashing? But I guess you've already tried.
Thank you but yes I tried that already.
But without succes.
Mine only crashes with download.
It freezes and within 5 seconds it crashes.

Hi...did you solved the issue? I started. With the same issue without success.
Thank you
I'm having issues with my Wifi and clueless on how it got to this point. Everytime I try to turn it on, it turns back off automatically. I'm at home trying to connect so it should have the password saved already. Any ideas on what to do?
I'm running Wicked Rom V7, I have been out with friends all day drinking. Haven't used my phone besides texting, Instagram, and Facebook. It was fine this morning til now.

Are you sure its not working? I mean after drinking all day, a lot of things might seem broken that aren't.
If you are sure its busted, check these things...
Make sure the password on the router hasn't changed. If you live with other people you never know. Or the router could have just reset to defaults for some odd reason.
Delete the saved WiFi connection on your phone and start over. The password in your phone might have been corrupted too, causing it to send the wrong password to the router. Don't try to fix it. Just delete the entry and start over. That way if its another problem you'll fix that issue too.

It's not that, my Wifi isn't turning on at all. It will light up for a sec and that's it

Try this,
Download and cwm/twrp flash the Ktoonz kernel, that usually
fixes most wifi issues which people are having.
Here are the direct download links for the Touchwiz JELLYBEAN 4.3 VERSION:
http://ktoonsez.jonathanjsimon.com/s...11.14.2013.zip
OR if you are using 4.2.2 rom then get the Touchwiz JELLYBEAN 4.2.2 VERSION:
http://ktoonsez.jonathanjsimon.com/s...11.14.2013.zip
Good luck!

I flashed the 4.2.2 and still have the same problem, I just hope it isn't any hardware issues. I guess I'll be backing everything up and reflashing the rom.

Found out every time I install this app I have the issues. So if any of you who had the same issue as me, just don't install this app. If you did already, uninstalling it won't help. Back-up necessary stuff and just reflash rom.
