beats earphones

The earphones not headphones, anyone got them do they fit?

They should, when you buy them check the box and see if it says 3.5mm audio port/jack. Our phone has a standard 3.5mm audio jack wich is standard in earphones, headphones...

the original earphone is very good already

They have a 3.5 audio jack so yes they should, should get great sounds if you install the beats audio drivers too

3.5 is not enough. Make sure it has 3 strips on the port thing.

The first one is an iPhone headphone which doesnt work. The middle one is a Skullcandy one and the third one is the stock. As you can see middle (skullcandy) one has only 2 stripes whereas the stock one has 3. Because of this the skullcandy one give crappy sound on the G3.

Huh, i have a philips one here with only 2 stripes, but it sounds awesome.

WRONG INFO!
the third strip is only required if the earphones have a mic....
also skullcandy gives amazing sound on g3....
i have 2 pairs (skullcrushers and uprock) both give amazing sound.
if the headphones have a mic then it will have 3 strips .
if they dont then only 2.....
wether they have 3 or 2 strips does not affect sound quality at all....
3.5mm is standerd and any earphone with this jack will work on our phone with its best sound quality....
but sometimes the mic may not work due to different standerds...
but as such all headphones itself will work perfectly.....just the mic can be tricky.... also 90% of high quality headphones wont have a 3rd strip cause they are made for listening to music and movies and not as handsfree devices...

But yeah, my skullcandy work with all other cells phones and laptop but fails to work properly on any galaxy series phone.

which ones do u have?
what do u mean by not working properly?
like not working at all? or bad sound quality?
maybe a jack problem.....
i have 2 pairs and they work great on g3...MUCH better than my ipod in sound quality...
btw if they are in-ear headphones i wouldnt know about the sound quality...
mine are on-ear and arround the ear headphones.....they are great.....
but i hear the skullcandy in-ear ones are just ok....

I have to say that one thing is true. Beats from HTC rezound aren't working on our g3.

have u tried megabassbeats ?
they definitly work....much better sound...
but u would need atleast decent earphones to hear the difference. (beats, skullcandy, sanheiser ect)

ohhh....hmm....well if its only that pair then maybe its somthing HTC or beats used so that it only works on their phones....
if others dont work then probably audio port problem on ur phone...
iv used 2 skullcandys, a sony and an apple earphone and no problems....

For some reason switching ROMs helped for me. One day in like February I headed down to Best Buy and tried like 10 pairs of headphones. Most of them didn't work, but I found some Sony's. Now I'm on CM7, I went back to Best Buy a couple of days ago and for some reason almost all of the headphones work now. I'm still really happy with my Sony's though.

Tries beats studio and they werent recognized(i was on jpm) then i changed to cm7 and they started to work
I can only say beats studio and megabass is the best combination

2 strips or 3 strips dont mind actually. in stock there is 3strips coz 1 is for mic. so tht actually doesnt matter what matters is ot of the 3 which stip is fr which thing. like iphone's earphone has 3strips still dont work properly coz the connection for right ear left ear and mic are different.

The best bluetooth headset is the one from Nokia which is available in Robinsons Manila. My brother has it and it sounds very good. Only thing is that I am wearing eyeglasses all the time and the headset band gets in its way

Tried testing my SGY with a Philipps headphones. Resulted in low volume though. Used the same on a samsung Champ, volume is low too. Tested on a Nokia, worked just fine. Is it just me, or my phone..?
I really wanted to buy a new headphone. I prefer Pioneer or Audio Technika ones. But they are way too pricey for a student like me. ahaha!

BH-501 from Nokia. I heard that it is compatible to almost all bluetooth equipped devices.

Experienced the same too, with my eyeglasses.

i got my bh503 last saturday.
1500 php
im now enjoying it

i'm using beats tour oem and it's awesome......the sound is very clear as sky when it's summer and the bass is powerful and not too much

JVC marshmallows are the best for average audiophiles .
my self using em , feels like a dj in ma ears

yes this one is good.. (BH-501) i also have that... but the only problem is when you make a call, the one you are calling, having some distorted feedback on line.. but on your part.. the line was good. thats why i'm finding much better WH that good in call and music as well, i hope theres a radio support for wirelless headset too.

Wow! I was really looking for an affordable headset with great sounds when i found my old Nokia N70 original headset in my storage! Beautiful sounds, awesome details, super bass experience! I can say this old headset of mine sounds like Beats. I heard how Dr. Dre delivers sounds and i can say, as a musician my old 'stuff' sounds perfectly awesome!

Portable Speaker for galaxy note

As im sure everyone who owns a SGN, knows that the built in speaker is crap.
So i was looking on the internet for a portable speaker in order to use with my SGN.
I just wanted to know whether you guys use portable speaker for your note, if so could you kindly let me know which speaker you use.

This speaker costs about £89 OR $138. It might be a bit expensive but it looks like it is worth it compared to the costly Jawbone Jambox.

Your probably looking for something a bit more " hi-fi ", but on my desk I have a pair of Nokia MD-4 speakers. These neat little speakers give out surprisingly good sound & they are easy to fold up & put in your pocket. They sound best with Poweramp with the equalizer set to phone speaker (loud).

The unit is reasonably well built, runs off 3 AAA batteries or a supplied usb power cable, and has a 3.5mm input jack for other sources. Pairing it up is dead easy too, but it has a tendancy to hiss a lilttle bit (BT transport noise, maybe?) when the volume is low. My solution - crank it up loud!

I have tried a lot of portable speakers and unfortunately you have to spend real money if you want something decent with real sound...
I have it for over a year and use it with my phone and my portable computer. If you use it with cable (at work with my computer), the battery lasts some 40-45 hours!!
It's very sturdy and compact, I love it!

Stick with your first choice MiniRig

NOKIA MD4.
That's the most portable one here, and the performance is decent enough.
It might not be as loud as the "MiniRig" but it is more compact, has a longer battery life.... but the real bonus here is that the MD4 is really cheap.
Try that first, I'm thinking of buying one now

Been using this for over 2 years,one of my best investments for a mobile phone extra,brilliant,use it at least 3 times week and it has a great sound,problem is I don´t think they make them any more AND I only payed 50euros for mine and not 199$
Big advantage is the use of bluetooth,no cables, which means you can use it all over the place,garden,work,office....or when your taken a hot bath ;-)

i grabbed some razer ferox speakers for under $50 i think. about 8 hours of battery life and they charge via usb. biggest problem is they pop open in the carrying bag all the time and im pretty sure the batteries drain when that happens. i use them for my laptop too.

no probs friend...i was trying to go for beats to be honest but the price was to much...had a look on ebay but to many fakes on there you do not really know which are real and not..but for the price of beats are not really worth it in my opinion..so when i saw the jays i have to say a purchase well worth the the money i spend

If you realy want quality i recommend any type of in-ear heaphones by Sennheiser,i always have been a Sennheiser fan and they never let me down,they are way better than Beats or Sony or any other producers,trust me,i used to work as a DJ before and thats how i found out about the Sennheiser.

I highly recommend an urBeats or a Sennheiser. I'm personally having the urBeats and an HD 418 from Sennheiser ( Which is not the best Sennheiser headphone ) and they're both stunning

You should try UrbanEars. They have a nice design and at the same time, good sound. I have the headphones one, and now I'm planning to get the earphones.

I use and absolutely love the Sennheiser MM70i. Designed for iPhone, so unfortunately the volume keys don't work. But the pause/answer button does.

I recently got some soundmagic e10m earphones. Really good quality. Cost £50 with microphone, but you can get the e10's as well without the microphone for £30

Headphone recommendation

1) Do Xperia Arc S have compatibility issues with headphones or only with mic and handsfree? I dont care about handsfree...

JVC are not fake, Senn and AKG could be.
But i removed them from my shortlist, and have a new dilemma now

I'd recommend soundmagic pl21s if you can find them on eBay. Brought mine from a seller in the UK, iheadphone I believe they were called. They might ship worldwide.
Good clear sound, 4 sizes of buds. Metal construction, L-shape connector, carry pouch about £20. Well pleased, as you can guess the type of music I listen to.

Sound Magic pl30 is a good choice for balance sound.

Apparently Sony MH1 (LiveSound) have a very good sound quality. Half of head-fi forum are ordering them and say that they are easily the best IEM under 100$

+1 SoundMagic pl30.. had used a Sony MDR- XB30EX previously but took a chance n tried out the SM pl30 since its new.. totally recommend that...

Are you referring to livesound? If so, they don't work on any other phones other than 2011 xperias

But if I open 3.5mm jack and change the places of wires it will be work?
I mean the reason that it does not work on other phones is the wires and 3.5mm jack?

not sure if that'll work or not because i'm not very technical You can get a converter from ebay though
