no probs friend...i was trying to go for beats to be honest but the price was to much...had a look on ebay but to many fakes on there you do not really know which are real and not..but for the price of beats are not really worth it in my opinion..so when i saw the jays i have to say a purchase well worth the the money i spend
If you realy want quality i recommend any type of in-ear heaphones by Sennheiser,i always have been a Sennheiser fan and they never let me down,they are way better than Beats or Sony or any other producers,trust me,i used to work as a DJ before and thats how i found out about the Sennheiser.
I highly recommend an urBeats or a Sennheiser. I'm personally having the urBeats and an HD 418 from Sennheiser ( Which is not the best Sennheiser headphone ) and they're both stunning

You should try UrbanEars. They have a nice design and at the same time, good sound. I have the headphones one, and now I'm planning to get the earphones.

I use and absolutely love the Sennheiser MM70i. Designed for iPhone, so unfortunately the volume keys don't work. But the pause/answer button does.

Shure 215. Klipsch s4 might also be worth checking out.

The best bluetooth headset is the one from Nokia which is available in Robinsons Manila. My brother has it and it sounds very good. Only thing is that I am wearing eyeglasses all the time and the headset band gets in its way

Tried testing my SGY with a Philipps headphones. Resulted in low volume though. Used the same on a samsung Champ, volume is low too. Tested on a Nokia, worked just fine. Is it just me, or my phone..?
I really wanted to buy a new headphone. I prefer Pioneer or Audio Technika ones. But they are way too pricey for a student like me. ahaha!

BH-501 from Nokia. I heard that it is compatible to almost all bluetooth equipped devices.

i got my bh503 last saturday.

im now enjoying it
i'm using beats tour oem and it's awesome......the sound is very clear as sky when it's summer and the bass is powerful and not too much
JVC marshmallows are the best for average audiophiles .

yes this one is good.. (BH-501) i also have that... but the only problem is when you make a call, the one you are calling, having some distorted feedback on line.. but on your part.. the line was good. thats why i'm finding much better WH that good in call and music as well, i hope theres a radio support for wirelless headset too.

Wow! I was really looking for an affordable headset with great sounds when i found my old Nokia N70 original headset in my storage! Beautiful sounds, awesome details, super bass experience! I can say this old headset of mine sounds like Beats. I heard how Dr. Dre delivers sounds and i can say, as a musician my old 'stuff' sounds perfectly awesome!

Do you have any suggestions?
I've been looking at the a-JAYS Four, but I'm not sure they'll work on the One X
An alternative is to buy HS U350 and then normal earphones, but then I won't get flat cables.

Ive just bought a pair of Sony MDR-EX310LP*EX Monitor series headphones, they don't have a flat cable, but the sound quality is the best in it's price range.
Picked up a brand new pair on eBay for £35.

I bought those last week for 10 €. They are as good as the original one , only added value is the intra and remote control
I received my Jays a Jays 4 today. Did not had time to test them...

Are you going to use your a-Jays 4 with the HTC One X?
Can you please check if your mic works and what functionality you actually have in the remote control when using it with the One X?
Could someone tell me whether the standard earphones that come with the One X in the UK should have the soft foam covers over the ear pieces? Mine just don't look right,surely they should come with covers? (See photo)

It's ridiculous lol.
I noticed the usb cable is much shorter than the one that came with my Desire S
Tour Beats - from personal experience
I have Tour Beats. They are great and come with flat cables.
I have to admit though, when I first got the handset and tested my Tour beats with them, all songs other than the ones provided by HTC sounded crap. I'm talking stuff like Megadeth. I'm sure you can imagine my disappointment.
Then I downloaded DoubleTwist pro and adjusted it's inbuilt equalizer. You won't believe how good the same music sounds with and how crappy without the equalizer. Same songs sound truly amazing now.
I'm transferring all my good music to my HOX as I type.
I wish the default HOX music player came with an equalizer.

Does the mic and volume keys work with your HOX?
but it does come with an EQ just tap on "options"
1) Do Xperia Arc S have compatibility issues with headphones or only with mic and handsfree? I dont care about handsfree...

JVC are not fake, Senn and AKG could be.
But i removed them from my shortlist, and have a new dilemma now

I'd recommend soundmagic pl21s if you can find them on eBay. Brought mine from a seller in the UK, iheadphone I believe they were called. They might ship worldwide.
Good clear sound, 4 sizes of buds. Metal construction, L-shape connector, carry pouch about £20. Well pleased, as you can guess the type of music I listen to.
Lots of good reviews online.

Sound Magic pl30 is a good choice for balance sound.
Apparently Sony MH1 (LiveSound) have a very good sound quality. Half of head-fi forum are ordering them and say that they are easily the best IEM under 100$

Are you referring to livesound? If so, they don't work on any other phones other than 2011 xperias

actually I am using the Panasonic RP-HJE120E1K In-Ear earphones but having a lot of trouble with stopping music and/or the Google voice command search (please unlock your device). I looked this problem up and there seems to be a problem with the stereo jack.
So, can anyone tell me which model I can use without issue? or maybe disable this function?

+1 for the Xiaomi Pistons, I've got the 2.1s I think and they're fantastic for the money. Got mine from ibuygou who I believe is a hardware partner with Xiaomi so its safer, as there are some fakes out there.

I have ROKR EH20, oem with mic. I like it more than my Sensation XE out of box Beats wired headsets.
xiaomi piston or meelectronics m9p but recommended custom kernel with faux sound driver 34 and buy faux sound (or any kernel tweaker wich support it) app to activate hide sound options, after config is sound amazing combined with poweramp app

i am using this since a year, it delivers awesome bass with proper levels of treble. and yeah those are sturdy as rock!
SoundMagic ES-18 is a great buy. Punchy but non-destructive bass and good highs and mids.
Creative EP-630 - Been around for 8 years and still going strong. It's the one I am using at present. A good bang for buck till the arrival of ES-18.
Sennheisser CX-180 Street II is another great choice but not as economical as others.
I have tried couple of Skullcandy in-ears. But all of those died within an year.
My Pick : SoundMagic ES-18
So since we didn't receive any Hi-Res earbuds in the US I was looking for some that sounded great without breaking the bank and I think I found a winner. For only $26 you can't beat the quality. I ordered mine directly from the mi.com website to ensure I didn't get some fakes. Would you say that these would sound better than for example like Bose soundtrue headphones. i been wanting a new pair to take advantage of my htc 10. I have researched for awhile but i don't know what to get?

How do you find them? I had this pair for over 6 months and I do like them but compare it to the previous piston2, it seems lack some bass but overall a good neutral sounding earphone

I never has the piston2, but I did have a pair of the mi colorful editions which sound great also but I gave them to my son since he lost his others. And those were only $5 shipped so for the price it's really hard to beat their headphones and the quality is great.

Yeah I agree in term of bang for bux xiaomi is hard to beat.
KZ Ates are very very good with the 10 and for only 9$ delivered free with aliexpress it's crazy not to buy them.
The bundled Hi-res earphones are slightly better in terms of soundstage but a bit too much on treble side, the KZ Ates are more balanced but with an emphasis to bass though without making shades over other channels, they have a great amount of details too.
They have a memory wire perfect for sports
I've got Xiaomi Piston 2s and yes, Xiaomi makes the best price to performance earbuds on the market. I lose earbuds quite a bit, this is my second pair of Piston 2s, and I had 2 pairs of Piston 1s as well. Hopefully I don't lose these, but when I inevitably do I'll grab the new ones.
Hard to argue with xiamois price to performance. But a dynamic + BA hybrid is hard to come by for <100. Might have to try these out.
