i'm pretty sure you cant just s-off with fastboot. only way i know to s-off on desire is through alpharev.

wrong flashing rom
i tried to do all thing just befor the flash complete the mobile make 7 vibrate and turnoff and never go up
also with gold card when the flashing ruu on 63% it do this
if someone tell me this is hardware issue i will stop but no one help

Actually were you using a custom hboot from alpharev or anything like that?

[Q] HTC One X Bootloop, can't get to recovery

Hey guys,
Today i flashed my One x using methods 2 in this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1920060.
And now i'm experiencing bootloops. I can access fastboot and I've tried to access recovery through fastboot but the CWM logo will flash for about 1 second then the phone will turn off and go into a bootloop. What should i do to get back into recovery?
I have a backup in reocvery which i can restore but i can't get into recovery

my phone is rooted an it run very vell for months whit cyanogenmod 10,1 but today the terminal not run i try to put it in recovery but it vibtates 7 times end hang! before this i have formatted dalvik and chache data and boot ..! i do something wrong ! help me .. when te hboot cheking the file pd98img i see this message in the photo !! thanks

if you formatted dalvik, cache and boot the phone won't boot. Have you tried reflashing the rom? that checking is normal. What do you mean by terminal not run??

the phone does not start and stop on the htc screen vibrating 7 times can only enter the botloader but when I press on recovery mode vibrates seven times without starting

download any pd98imd.zip, put on ur sd card. then follow the instructions..

Seeing that message booting into hboot is normal, it is the hboot looking for a what I would call a proper/genuine update of sorts.
Btw in your OP you said you formatted "boot", tada, there's ya problem, as I understand it, boot is the kernel, you deleted it, that's why it won't boot no more...
If you have a nandroid restore it, or flash a new Rom.

i put the file in to sd the and upgrade the following bootloader boot recovery system userdata radio radio cust but when i rebot or rebot in recovery mode the terminal dont start vibtate 7 times......

How did you flash a Rom the first time?
Do you know how to get into recovery using the volume down and power buttons?

I am afraid that yours seems to be a fried emmc chip. Try flashing a ruu as you are S-OFF if that does not work mobo needs to be replaced

Any will do as you are s-off. Try not to flash an old one. Any 3.x version will ne just fine

when i try to install the ruu with .exe program the install work but when the dhd go to reboot hang on htc screen and vibrates 7 times !! damn

Yes I would agree I'm very sorry we could not help you get your phone back again.
As a last questions, are you able to get into custom recovery at all?
Have you tried flashing custom recovery again....
Just trying to help you and work out exactly what the root cause of your issue, and if possible get it going again.

Even if he flashes a recovery and it boots somehow, it'll just start throwing errors saying that partitions cant be mounted, that isn't really solvable unless you get a new mobo.

I to install a ruu to flash another rom and the process done but shen i restart my phone hang in the htc screen and the 7 vibtations come dhen the device have hardware damage....

Ok, then you have an stock rom. Now try flashing it with a liveCD instead of Windows to avoid de drivers issue or flash it with your sdcard.

You will need a goldcard to flash an stock ruu.

Then unlock the bootloader and flash a custom rom....there is no other way.

Sony Xperia S is Dead

Hello everybody,
My Xperia s is dead, was trying to install the ROM and it was successfully done (via CWM recovery) but after rebooting it is not at all starting tried to hold volume up + power it vibrates but it doesn't start. :crying: :crying: :crying:
Please help.

I did that....
Had to flash the stock again root install cwm again Rom. But it is the same everytime, evn aftr flashing kernel it always dead. I was trying to instsll another Rom and thn it went to brick mode then aftr lot of search I found to flash stock Rom so downloaded ftf of. 96 an then flashed it started working again I did rooting and installation of cwm again new Rom and it is going on and on right now im using stock Rom frm Sony and it is rooted had not gone further.
How do I solve this now?

so means your phone isn't dead ,so after you flash can't boot, I think you had better to check if you are unlock your boot loap or not, If you have unlocked, I think need to flash new boot for your rom, not only kernel.

right now ,you can flash customer rom,just choice what you want from the furom.Just before you flash the rom,follow the information which the developer said.

Another way is to get to customer service center.
