There hasnt been a data announced, likely sometime around MWC next month, OP read on some of the blogs, if there hasn't been a date floating around, then thats because a concrete one hasnt been given.
Look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087582
At the end of february the image will be avaliable according to the thread....

I think around the time the Sprint version is released, or maybe it had to do with Linux 3.3 being released.

Pretty crappy thread title. There are no images there for Sprint Galaxy Nexus (toroplus) at all, JB or otherwise.
Sweet. I wonder if they took this long to post it up because they were trying to fix the sdcard0 issue.

Yeah, the title needs to be changed from ..."non-Verizon/Sprint" to ..."non-Verizon/non-Sprint" or, even simpler, ..."GSM".

No, because the factory images are no different than the OTA (once flashed on the device). What took so long is one person is responsible for it and he's been dealing with releasing the source code for the GN, Nexus 7, Xoom, and Nexus S all at once. So it just took some time. And they will never release factory images until the device has the OTA rollout.
This is more innovative than everything Apple created recently

But no need to get nippy. We're all friends here.
This is not the iPhone forum. Apple threads are not welcome

They probably had it to do a review or were given it. It's not out for the general population yet.
In other words, you can't.

http://www.engadget.com/2013/01/25/canonical-richard-collins-interview/
The article says that even Engadget could not get the Ubuntu Phone OS yet. Canonical declined to give them an early version. The article and video show that Canonical people were present during the hands-on test and the phone being used was Canonical's, not Engadget's.
End of February is when Canonical is releasing Ubuntu Phone OS to developers. Its unclear how they are going to release it though. Its possible that it wont just be a file to flash and there you have it. It may just be all the tools to develop for Ubuntu Phone OS and it will be up to the Galaxy Nexus developers to build and make it available for us. Who knows at this point. It could also be the very first version of Ubuntu Phone OS that you need to install through your computer like flashing an image with a toolkit. Lets not get ahead of ourselves.
So to the OP, it is not available yet and even though they say "end of February", that possibly means available for developers and not just anyone.
