Smooth, even.

I think around the time the Sprint version is released, or maybe it had to do with Linux 3.3 being released.

Typical reply you will get on this forum:
"Next OTA will be ready when it's ready and Google iron out all teh bugz!!!1 Nevermind that all the other phones have newer versions, Nexus is the best! How dare you even ask for updates! If u want 4.0.4 get teh ROMzzz!"

There is a "official nightly" out from CM9. It's not ready to be out for a release candidate yet. They haven't said anything about the eta, and i suggest you'd stop asking cause they get annoyed so just wait.

Official builds here as usual: http://get.cm/?device=maguro
Euroskank is built from CM source + has some good cherry picks (i.e. things that haven't been merged yet)
Many options waiting to be merged, but what's there works, and works well. It's ridiculously stable, and smooth/fast, etc... I'd expect things to ramp up considerably once the new buildbot has been configured. They're not into fully automated nightlies yet.

I wasn't rude at all, it's a "unwritten" rule. I could be meaner and let you know this was also posted in the wrong thread lol

No one is being rude mate haha, but i expect not long. ICS has been out for a long time now. The GNEX might be harder due to soft keys but im not sure. Expect it soon but no, dont ask for ETA's.

The fact that he asked here in the a general thread is the key. He was just asking for a bit of help. He was not asking for an ETA in the devs thread. I have a an issue with people acting the ass and then using a "LOL" as if that makes it OK. When folks stop being helpful the forum becomes useless.

Official Verizon OTA update

Does anyone out there have any actual evidence of there ever being an update. I cannot root and update due to having no computer so I am stuck waiting and its so old. I can't find any updated information and I'm sick of a buggy phone! Thanks everyone for ur help.

I heard its coming quarter to never. Or maybe it just feels that way.
Just rumors and rumors I've been told several times it'll be before may and that means nothing.

I wish the dang thing would happen soon!! I don't care about new features or version numbers, I just want the numerous bugs fixed.
Considering Verizon hasn't owned up to the existence of any updates (or the existence of any problems, for that matter) I figure it'll be a while. "Early April" has come and gone, so it appears the rumor mill is fail once again.

5 New Nexus devices By Thanksgiving?

I thought this had very interesting potential!

good job google. that's the way it should be done
Agree, but do you think they're talking Jellybean by this Thanksgiving or next? Seems like an awful ambitious schedule for this one when most of us are still trying to get official ICS?

Where was it posted I didn't see anything about it? and I didn't realize you were the great arbiter of what is needed?
Why jump straight to 5.0? Why not develop what they have a bit more and go for Jelly Bean 4.1?

Jelly bean released!!

Most of us have either seen parts of the I/O conference or heard of it someplace else, so you're a little late to the party.
But, you know what they (who are "they", though?) say: better late than never.

You'll have to wait until someone receives the OTA, logcats and posts the download link for us ^^
Revealed, announced, but not released.
Even the version coming through OTA to I/O attendee today is just the developer preview, i.e. public beta. It is not officially "released" until mid-July.
Incredibly misleading title...We really need an all purpose leak thread as the exact same topics are flooding in

They probably had it to do a review or were given it. It's not out for the general population yet.
In other words, you can't.

i search, within Google, for "Ubuntu Galaxy Nexus Leak" every day. Of course within search timeframe of 24h. This you could do by yourself too,
If you're lucky, you will find something soon. If you're a number (like myself).....you indeed need to respect patience :silly:

The article says that even Engadget could not get the Ubuntu Phone OS yet. Canonical declined to give them an early version. The article and video show that Canonical people were present during the hands-on test and the phone being used was Canonical's, not Engadget's.
End of February is when Canonical is releasing Ubuntu Phone OS to developers. Its unclear how they are going to release it though. Its possible that it wont just be a file to flash and there you have it. It may just be all the tools to develop for Ubuntu Phone OS and it will be up to the Galaxy Nexus developers to build and make it available for us. Who knows at this point. It could also be the very first version of Ubuntu Phone OS that you need to install through your computer like flashing an image with a toolkit. Lets not get ahead of ourselves.
So to the OP, it is not available yet and even though they say "end of February", that possibly means available for developers and not just anyone.
