Hello xda, i was on fxp cm10 and i now flashed pa rom but i want to reset the apps and the save games from my cm10 backup?
eg it took me a week of playing to unlock almost all **** on temple run and on zombie highway....what to do?
Maybe try "select restore " and restore data partition?

The pro version of titanium backup has that feature

I've been playing plants vs zombies and I want to flash a new rom. I've backed up plants vs zombies with titanium backup and moved the game to my sd card with apps2sd. Will this save my game data?. I don't want to have to start a new game. Some game saves (for other games) do backup successfully for me but I remember backing up Paradise Island and after flashing a new rom and restoring the game, I had to start a new game because it didn't save my saved game. Sorry if this is redundant, I wanted to be as clear as possible. Thanks.

Use Titanium Backup to backup the game and its associated data.
when you use titanium backup, you can back up the app AND the data. So when you flash the new rom, don't install that backup the game just install the game like regular and then just reload the backup "app data" from TB.

If I flash a new rom, will my backup(titanium backup) of "My Country" carry over? I ask because last time I backed up a similar game called My Island or something and flashed a new rom and restored the game but it made me start the game over.

Make sure you restore the app+data (not to be confused with system data) and not just the app.

Just make sure you do a full backup of the app with Titanium Backup. Then restore the app+data on the new ROM. It will bring the game saves.
You should of course be making a full nandroid backup of the previous ROM so that if your backup of the game doesn't work moving to the new ROM, you can always go back and try again.
hey guys searching this forum i knew that to backup my apps while using link2sd i have to use titanium backup and install the rom i want then reinstall titanium backup and restore i thinks this method will work while using a ginger bread roms am i right ? and right now i'm using cm7 and i was thinking to install CM9 so can i do this backup and restore thing ? and is CM9 stable yet can i use it daily as my main phone ? thank you and sorry for that long description
Well i have been using CM9 for the past 4 days i think and its pretty fast and stable. The version i am using is this one(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1683874) .You can backup all your apps using titanium backup and remember to make a nandroid backup too.

While this may work for some apps, I'm not sure it would definitely work for everything. The underlying system of ics is quite different to that of gingerbread and some developers might use a different apk for each. But I guess the only way to find out is to try. As long as you make a nandroid backup before you start you could always revert back to your previous configuration if it doesn't work out.
Some apps have a issue. It restores properly but it keeps getting FC's unless you clear the data (Or it might require you to reinstall the app). For these, you can just restore the app which usually works.
If i was on stock rom and wanted to back up games how do i do it?
then flash a GB like rom and be able to install the stock games, mainly crash bandicoot as i can't seem to install it on gin2jb

I vouch for that app as well as nothing can beat this ... saves me a lot of trouble!
I have backed up all the games from stock 2.3.4, i'm now back running gin2jb and have the titanium folder on sd with all the games there, but when i open titanium backup it's showing nothing in the restore section, but there showing all 6 at the verify backups.
BTW i found my bootloader was unlockable and managed to do it and now using Doom kernal
Click the menu button in the backup/restore tab and click "batch". In restore options, restore all apps with missing data. This should do the trick.
Alternatively, in the backup/restore tab, find the apps you want to restore, press it and then you should have the option to restore there.

for some reason they just aint there, i mean i have wiped everything for a custom rom but all the data is on the sd card in titanium backup folder and i dragged it to desktop to be double sure, but i cant restore
at top the top in verify backups it shows the 6 games, but when i go further down to restore backups they all say 0
edit; right at the bottom, there all there typical, all in alphabetical until the bottom haha, thanks
Achievement get: 3thanks in a row ;D

Can you import them in titanium? Menu>import. If that doesn't work you could flash back to your old rom, send the backups you want to your sd card by long pressing each app you want exported and clicking "send latest backup", make sure you select data + app (easy import), and then flash yor new rom and import them and that should work.
You shouldn't have to do it that way but since all else is failing this would be an option.
everything going well, now i want v6 supercharger, but it wont let me install busybox from the market it's been around 10 mins on version 1.18.2 saying installing
Everything going well I think iv got it running what's the best number to use?
Hi guys,
Just installed Paranoid Andriod ROM which is great! Went to create a back on Titanium, but it said I have insufficient memory to finish the back up, even when I have over 10gb on the internal storage on the phone?
Anyone else had any issue like this?
Cheers
Stu
U have to reboot your device. If issue persists u must go into titanium preferences and change tha buckup folder because aosp roms change the sd card folder to mnt/0/emulate or something like that. So u must change the folder in storage/exsdcard

I've managed to back up to my ext memory card, but not my internal. I've noticed all the legacy and emulated folders but I'm at a bit of a loss. This is the first time I've used a AOSP Rom

Often one can't restore apps backuped by earlier android versions. You have to download and install your apps again and restore with Titanium app data only.
