I've been playing plants vs zombies and I want to flash a new rom. I've backed up plants vs zombies with titanium backup and moved the game to my sd card with apps2sd. Will this save my game data?. I don't want to have to start a new game. Some game saves (for other games) do backup successfully for me but I remember backing up Paradise Island and after flashing a new rom and restoring the game, I had to start a new game because it didn't save my saved game. Sorry if this is redundant, I wanted to be as clear as possible. Thanks.

Use Titanium Backup to backup the game and its associated data.
when you use titanium backup, you can back up the app AND the data. So when you flash the new rom, don't install that backup the game just install the game like regular and then just reload the backup "app data" from TB.

As the title states, is it possible to keep your progress from angry birds (or other games and apps) when flashing a new rom?

Use a back up app, save the app+data
This is the only app I backup with titanium free so I don't lose progress.
Dam now I know for next time

Or you can just use the cheat to unlock all worlds if you want...

Hey brotha just a question a little off topic you said if you don't backup. I was getting ready to flash Myn's new release and I have never done a backup I just always do a full wipe and then reinstall all apps and re do settings.. which backup do you use?
Just move it to the SD card and back it up....

Titanium backup works great. Been using it since it was released. Just be weary about backing up and restoring system settings.

Titanium backup.
If I flash a new rom, will my backup(titanium backup) of "My Country" carry over? I ask because last time I backed up a similar game called My Island or something and flashed a new rom and restored the game but it made me start the game over.

Make sure you restore the app+data (not to be confused with system data) and not just the app.

Just make sure you do a full backup of the app with Titanium Backup. Then restore the app+data on the new ROM. It will bring the game saves.
You should of course be making a full nandroid backup of the previous ROM so that if your backup of the game doesn't work moving to the new ROM, you can always go back and try again.
is there an app for gamers like me who don't want to root their new phone and don't want to start their games all over again? all i run into is mybackup and titanium pro but you have to be rooted to just be able to backup and restore your game file.

The pro version of titanium backup has that feature
Is it possible? I created a full backup using TWRP recovery (first time doing so) expecting it to be as good as CWM one (that backups the whole system and you can restore it like a full rom) BUT.. when I went to restore it, I had no sd apps or anything, so yeah I had to re install my ROM and redowload every app and blah blah. Question is, I haven't deleted the backup yet from TWRP.. is it possible to recover the save games and manually copy them to SD or something..? I had almost completed Plants vs zombies and angry birds, logo quiz.. this hurts honestly.
Regards.

AFAIK app data (savegame) are saved in data/data.
If u restore your backup and install those games without data wipe u m8 get back those save games.
Or u can copy respective folders from data/data and install those app and copy back those folders.
