Please help :crying:
The relocked sign is normal,it shows that you have unlocked your bootloader before.that's why it says 'relocked' instead of 'locked'
Maybe these two posts will help you find the correct RUU.
Note:htc is currently hunting down sites with RUUs,so,google is your best friend, chance is you may find it somewhere luckily.

I think I was able to successfully update this using htcdev bootloader, I said I think because I left the house before I left the house the phone was rebooting and on my pc it shows that its erasing data. When I came back the phone is already fully rebooted.
How would I know if I was able to successfully unlock bootloader?
I tried rooting the phone and I got an error using Wildfire S manager.
Hope you can help me .

So yesterday i bought myself a new HTC ONE phone from Egypt, the original owner used it for just 48 hours then sold it. When i received it i found the SuperUser installed and the OTA updates were not installing sin11ce the phone has been modified.
I followed a tutorial on XDA about getting back to stock rom and after flashing custom recovery and moving the stock rom to SD card i flashed it from recovery and it failed in the process.
Now the phone just boots into recovery, can anyone please post me a quick tutorial on getting the stock firmware back? i would really appreciate it.
Here is the info from the recovery:

Are you stuck in recovery or the bootloader screen??? Do you get any options in the screen the phone boots into??

My bad. Didn't realize it was international version.
DO NOT follow the link above to return to stock!
You do not have a Verizon HTC One.
You have an International model and would find more relevant info in your specific device variants forums here.
Sounds like you flashed a Rom not meant for your variant.
Good luck! :good:

Hey Guys,
I have to send my Desire 816 back to HTC for repair.
I get streaks in the screen and when I push on the screen it disappears, so seems a problem with the cable.
I have just one question, as I've rooted my phone in the past, my HBOOT now says this:
*** Software status: Official ***
*** RELOCKED ***

HBOOT-3.19.0.0000

OS-2.34.401.1

Would my device be repaired under warranty? As it says relocked and not locked?
Kind regards,
Vincent

I'm not 100% sure but I think you need s-off to get plain "locked" status. They may still honor the warranty, I suggest reading the fine print. Best of luck to you!

Hi @Vinny1994 I got a similar issue and need to repair my phone.
I was rooted and need to get the similar HBOOT details (*** Software status: Official *** *** RELOCKED *** )
Can you help me to do so. Point me a stock recovery link too if possible.
Many thanks..
