I placed an unlock code order @cellunlocker.net 3days ago, but I have't received my code yet,
I was wondering if you had a good experience with another unlock code site where they can deliver the code fast
Thanks.

So apparently i cant unlock my boot-loader. but i have my play rooted. what can i do to update firmware and overclock?
I have r800at AT&T GSM unlocked to T-Mo. The whole reason i want to do this is because games play pretty poorly.

Why cant you un lock the BL ?
You can update your firmware with flash tool still (someone correct me if im wrong) and I there is not an overclock for the stock kernel. Now that your rooted though , you can delete any bloatware apps to free some space and apply some tweaks in your build.prop to give a better user experience.

On your phone, tap Service info > Configuration > Rooting Status. If Bootloader unlock allowed says Yes, then you can continue with the next step. If it says No, or if the status is missing, your device cannot be unlocked.
Mine doesnt have that.
Also on the bloatware apps would i just delete them as any other app would be deleted?
u can remove bloatware using titanium backup.. but use it carefully

You can unlock the bootloader but you will have to pay one of the few members on her that do the unlocking. Just search for bootloader unlock threads and you will find the names. Cost is $24.

The test point software isn't free and even after you got it then you have to buy credits to use the software to do an unlock. I paid alejandrissimo the 24$ to do it and he makes it very fast and simple. Best 24$ I spent thus far!

I mean, how many people has he unlocked already? Hundreds?

Agreed. Even if he charged $25, one extra dollar each time would certainly add up.

What makes you think he isn't making profit? who would do a service for free.
Well, he says he does it at cost. Given that the Omnius official prices go around those levels, I would believe him. Plus, there are other people who give guided unlocks as well, so it's not like he can get too greedy since everyone would go to Jinx13 or someone else to make the unlock.

I've tried contacted the guy from http://unlock-bootloader.com/ multiple times over the past month, but he has never responded. Are there any other websites for unlocking my R800x bootloader?

Alejandrissimo is a pretty busy guy, but what generally helps is if you add him on gTalk and catch him there sometime.

I don't think so. Not unless you want to buy the actual software, then buy the credits and unlock it yourself.

I contacted him and had the same problem until I checked my spam folder. Be sure to check that. Gmail seems to think its junk mail.

Surely a phone shop would be happy to unlock it for you for a price

A guy by the name of jinx13 can do it. He just did it for me a couple days ago. I just signed up at his site and sent him a PM. He responded that day.

How reliable is this information? I just bought a really nice and clean tmobile version and after learning about the lack of MM and developmental ROMs, I think I'm going to return it.
Are these just inside sources you have? Future as in next year?

Custom development will live on even without a M release by Samsung. I sadly can't set a time for when but everything i have heard it should be soon.
So I love this tablet, its in Mint condition but being the T-Mobile version is causiung more problems then its worth.
The Samsung native App "WatchON" cannot be uninstalled in 5.0.1 - and was only fixed with a 5.0.2 update by Samsung...Something that T-mobile didn't get. WatchON is a video app no longer in service. I can't disable it, so I get Widget errors every time I change the screen orientation. Its extremely irritating and frustrating that a lack of updates and fore site cause so many silly problems.
Is there really, truly a Marshmallow update coming got the T807T ?
