[Q] NavBar Flashable NexusMod989

I flashed the .zip to have the ICS navigation bar be activated but it seems to be off center on the latest NexusMod989 (version 3.8 beta) can someone assist me in getting this centered....I would have liked to have been able to post this question on the original development thread but seeing as I am unable to do so due to my less than 10 post on XDA I guess I will post here and hope dev or someone can help.

Wow thanks for the quick response! Yeah I read all the pages of the tread and noticed someone had mentioned it but I didn't see a solution. Thanks again for looking into this issue. Your mod will give my phone the final touch of graphical ICS beauty it needs

Yeah, i can't wait for the fix! If you want to take it out in the meantime, i found that flashing the 14 toggles and batt percent mod from the nexusmod OP will do just the trick.

Yeah I discovered this by accident. It seems like you are unable to have both the toggles/batt mod and the navbar mod at the same time. When you flash one it wipes out the changes that the other made.

That's because they are both replacing the same file. But! It is technically possible to compiles the changes from both into one file. Too bad I have had no luck with APK Tool @[email protected]

Thanks Rob ! Can't wait for the update ... On a separate yet still kind of related note does your hybrid rom include the nav bar when its in "phone mode" ? Just wondering. Have not flashed yet but once it is in a more stable state would love to give it a spin. Thanks again your contribution to the community.

Most likely it is made for Deodexed so no. But I hope to stand corrected.

It might but you would need to nandroid, then flash to try it.

I'm about 95% sure it will. I pulled the SystemUI.apk from Nosympathy(thankyou) stock ROM. The only APK in this zip is SystemUI.apk, so you could always use 7-ZIP and create a new ZIP with your ROMS SystemUI.apk if you get a bad flash.

haha. FOR SURE. I'll be porting over some HD themes soon. So far, I've themed status_bar_background and the bottom of the drop down bar. lol. WIP. Good news is that once I get my base going, I can usually push other color themes out within a couple days. ::cyclops:

Hey man... Great work... Is there anyway you could post one that mods the dropdown transparency and not the icons on the notification bar? I use a diff theme for those icons but would like to have the transparency... Unless all that is in the systemUI.apk.. Then ill probably have to do it myself.... :thumbup:

ProjectXtreme Mod but it was scrapped out of XDA, I don't know why. I'm using Project Overkill now.

Tried that one already, tried also almost all of the tweaks around here on XDA. With all due respect to all developers, ProjectXtreme Mod so far is the best and stable that I've flashed, coupled with CrossBreeder. Sadly, ProjectXtreme was scrapped out here. Overkill Mod is good also but use the 09.05.13 version because it's the most stable of all its version.

Yeah what tweaks did you try? I get bootloops when I tried to flash some of the tweaks we have here. I am on Feiyu's v10 rom. So far its smooth. Battery is awesome.

dear all who still rock the stock jellybean for t989 i have finally managed to bring the multiwindow to our device with help from xperiacle
still under my post limit so go to youtube and search stash912. as soon as i get permission i will be releasing the files.

well the multiwindow itself does work with jmt8 yes however, systemui and twlauncher do not work after the mod. will see if i can fix it. if it works i might just have to send the owner a copy......if i ever get my permission's. im not even really sure i need them but want to make sure i do this the right way

ok question i have waited a few days now and still no response on permissions not even a no. so im wondering can i put my mod out there and just make sure to give credit deserved to the main dev. would that be ecceptable?.
im dying to get this out there. currently i am putting together a flashable for jmt8 only. i have spoken with ptmr3 about it and thats what he suggested doing.

well so far i have permission for half the project but until i get stuff straigtened out with experical or fiqure out why the mod is causing the force close of the system ui i will not release this. i want us all to be able to enjoy this but it has to be done the right way.. thank you for your patience and rest assured we do finally have the multiwindow working for our device...
