There is a battery mod out already that is pretty good. Changes battery indicator in task bar to a circle and gives % left inside the circle.
More to follow I am sure.

but chill a bit, it's only been day 1 of the official rooting.
3 days since we got source
and just 7 days since the phone was officially available to the public
having a SGS2 that is totally different from the rest of the SGS2 family, i think we are doing pretty good against the odds no?

He was only asking if we could get screenshots because someone recently posted a battery mod without screenshots.

Crt animation!!!!!

Could someone tell me how to get CRT animation on CM10???!!!!

How does it not?? The CRT animations are in the ROMs that are uploaded to this page I'm wanting to locate them to access it or have someone upload it, I'm not asking questions about random b.s, so yeah dude...... have a great day

The Opening post should be a release and not some demanding question. If you're going to be like that, then put it in the Q and A as opposed to wasting space in the Development section.
Wanting someone to release something also shouldn't go here. If you really wanted it, learn to search it up and do it yourself.

Hey bud i had same question but was unable to find answer, i guess just wait for developers making rom to add the feature soon.

Its a mod you have to apply to the rom. Includes decompiling apk. There are lots of tuts and how-tos for how to do this. If you don't want to tackle it yourself then yeah, you'll have to wait for a dev to include it in their rom. Though you may notice almost all roms for our phones have this enabled.

[MOD] Disable softkeys backlight

This is to allow one to disable the MENU and BACK softkey backlights. Its an option in CM ROMs but it doesnt stick after reboot and sometimes(for me) wouldnt always hold true.
I have tested this ONLY on CM/AOSP ROMs, it may or may not work on stock. However, its SAFE to flash to any ROM. But is not guarenteed to work.
That being said, whatever you do to YOUR phone is YOUR responsibility.
Also, not sure if this has been covered xD
Installation is simple:
Flash attached zip via any CUSTOM recovery and reboot.
Then enjoy.

This was fixed in AOKP. And cm I believe. Disabling now sticks after reboot.

There are way better mods out there like remapping and disabling lights, making the physical button a camera dedicated button...

And your point is? This is to disable the lights. Remapping buttons is easy. I found a mod that solved my problem didn't see anything about it so I posted it. Sorry for trying to contribute to the community.

Wasn't attacking you calm down. Just stating there are plenty of mods out there that do this and others and mostly built into the rom... also if this isn't yours you should give credit to the person that created it. Thanks for looking out though.

I WANT To Totally Disable my keys not just the light, is this just for light only or both? as in; if i touch the key it wnt do anything at all
so i can finally put the navbar

I appreciate the apologies
I just got a little carried away, i was just trying to share my discoveries with the community and i felt like i was being belittled and that my mod wasnt "good enough" to be shared.
And what i meant by "i found a mod" is that i actually discovered a method to fix my issue... my wording was confusing so i understand where you were coming from based on that.
Its just, look at my thanks meter, look at my post count, look at my join date...... i know the rules and i NEVER take anyone else's credit as my own. I guess it felt like i was being treated as a newb lol. xD
But those are pretty cool. I made something like that for the S2, except it didnt have the remap options, nobody asked for it xD. And then someone wanted the search key to be camera key so i made one for that. Im very familiar with modding and tweaking, themeing pretty much anything. But im glad were "cool" now. lol. i just really felt like i was being belittled and looked down upon.

I don't care what he says, I for one thank you for this fix, it works. You are right, in LeanRom, it has the option to disable, but does not stick, this worked well.

Flashable jelly bean mods

I am looking for flashable zips like notification bar with adjustable sliders and toggles and anything flashable that works on 4.0.4 TW roms, from jelly bean. The only thing that I have tested is the TouchWiz 5 and applied the jelly bean add on using twrp. I am using Rushing's intergalactic connectivity which is a 4.0.4 based ICS TouchWiz ROM. I can't test the cm10 theme because I can't download I market says phone isn't compatible

Well as much as I like your nice way of flaming I am currently working 24/7 an raising two kids as well I don't have much time to get on a computer. You flash it and select what hover icon you want. Thats it . Its for your S-Pen.

It's the S pen air view emblem. Instead of the hollow circle you can have a custom one.

Update: There is a total of 113 icons to pick from. Enjoy guys.
