Hi friends,
As you may know the build 2 of CM9 from our lord Arco sometimes mount the internal memory instead of the sdcard when the usb cable is connected.
Well, my problem is that I was formating it thinking it was my sdcard... the problem is that I have removed the cable in the middle of the format process. Now I'm not able to mount this partition.
How can I fix this issue?

As a basic solution:
A:
Can you still use CWM?
B:
Can you still boot into download mode and flash stock ROM? If yes, do so, flash CWM using ODIN and then flash CM9 again. (If no....... ask other members and see if they can help.)

As already mentioned:
1. Do all the backups you can make of your files.
2. Flash ClockWorkMod Recovery if you have not only done so(I guess you did )
3. Open ClockWorkMod Recovery:
I am not sure whether the memory swap in CM9 effects the management of the memory in CWM, but this is how it normally defined:
internal SD: mounts and storage-> format/sdcard ->confirm
external SD: mounts and storage-> format/emmc -> confirm
But I guess it does not make a difference for you, because you want to format both "sd cards" anyway.

Hi all, i've a BIG problem.
Today, before installing ARHD 6.1.1 i've wiped all with SuperWipe and i format internal sd card with SDFormatter.
Now pc see internal sd with all file tranfered but recovery can't mount sdcard with this error:
E: can't mount /sdcard
I can't mount via adb also
so i can't flash rom or switch on my phone!!
Can you help me, please?
flash the new recovery - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594819
Also did you have enterprise mail on your phone. If so, your phone SD will be encrypted. So you may have to format SD in recovery.
I've last recovery yet and i've trouble formatting sdcard via recovery:
Formatting /sdcard...

Try to format with pc again and without sdformatter (fat32, 32 klusters). When I format with sdformatter, phone says wrong SD format.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA
I've formatted with pc also but problem persists.

Did you try and format it as fat 32? and 32 k clusters?
Also what happens if you try and flash a stock Ruu onto it, that would probably tell the phone to reformat it.
I've formatted by PC in Recovery 5.8.4.0 after USB Mounting
The problem persists
I can't install RUU 'cause my HBOOT is 0.94 for 1.28.166.xx
The only RUU on line 166 (VODA CH-DE) is 1.26.166.xx
hi i use the wipe script from ARHD how can i format to default partition format the sd card?
using cwm to format or there is another method to format the sd card?
after format will work device like before or need to reflash rom or all apps reinstall?
The SD card is pretty separate from other ROM stuff. Apps have data on there as well as photos, etc.
You can format from CWM or from within the ROM, or mount as USB and format it.
Hy
Before i flashed CM10.2 (Android 4.3) i had the original touchwizz (android 4.2) and did a nandroid backup of this.
Now i want back to touchwizz but when i restored. I get a lot of fc. (applications that closes)
Before the restore i wipped data and cache. After a dalvick wipe. What is wrong. Thanks
In my opinion its a wipe problem

Before restoring wipe system, data, cache and dalvik. Also move all files on internal storage to sdcard or somewhere else. Then wipe internal storage too. Then restore backup and move those files back to internal storage.

Thanks for the quick reply. If I format internal storage, do I need to move files from internal storage to ext sd card? The backup is on ext sd card.

Before restoring nandroid backup.... I recommend you to move all stuff u have on internal storage to your pc or ext sd card. Then format system, data , cache , dalvik and internal storage. Then restore backup. After it is done move that stuff back onto ur internal storage. Formatting internal storage is not needed everytime.
U just do it this time.

I did an advanced wipe, system, data, cache and dalvik and it never worked properly. This time I included internal storage when wiping and that fixed the restore problem. Thanks for the help.
when i'm tried to factory date reset in twrp it say "cant mount internal sd" my internal is gone
any help?
