Hello. Need some help here...

also I would mention if you have a custom recovery, just remove the USB cable, reboot the bootloader, you will get the RECOVERY option...
I am using windows 7
I can only get to the bootloader screen...

you have unlocked before, than the unlock.bin file must be in your inbox... get that file... put that file in the tool (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1924003) folder, and then use the adb commands to unlock again , flash recovery and flash the ROM
OK,
So I have managed to reunlock the bootloader (I couldn't remember the exact process, eventually figured out that I needed the unlock code.)
I have used the HTC One X All-In-One kit by Hasoon2000 to flash the recovery.
It now boots into CWM but when I try an install from .zip it goes from installing update to installation aborted...

OK,
I have sorted mine out now.
Thank your for you help guys!

At least I thought I had.
I installed Android revolution 18.1 installation process went through fine. Now I can only boot into the bootloader or recovery... cannot boot into Android.
Gah.
Did you flash the boot.img with fastboot command, or the toolkit ?
And you have hboot 1.12 so you can only flash ICS roms and no JB roms.....only the JB roms without sense can run. Like CM10
I flashed with fastboot. At least I think I did.
I used CWM to mount the drive and copy the file across. I then used CWM to install from ZIP.
I have tried both Android_Revolution_HD_one_X_18.1 and now I have tried 9.8. Now with 9.8 I can't boot into recovery again. It just goes in a loop rebooting itself, I get the spash screen, black screen, splash screen... and so on.
Then or you didn't do a full wipe or you did not flash the correct boot.img. you always need to flash the boot.img that comes with the rom
Hold the power button and the volume - button together until the phone restarts into the bootloader and from there you can go to the recovery

I assume that:

might work to fix the security fail.
Can anyone give me an advice on howto proceed?
After removing battery and reinserting battery, the phone boots normally.

Try to relock your boot loader, with command fastboot oem lock.
Then try to run RUU again.
The error 155 seems fixed.
Now I get an error 131
Suppose it is time to rename the rom.zip I recovered to PG76IMG.zip and try to flash it?
so create gold card and reflash the phone?

I had the same problem, with BL unlocked, you do not need gold card.
extract the rom.zip
Copy:
boot.img
system.img
to your computer Android directory (where you have fastboot and adb, you need to download them)
boot WFS into hboot, mark fastboot, hit power button and attach usb cable
now open a command shell in the computer:
fastboot flash boot boot.img <-- will flash kernel and boot
fastboot flash system system.img <-- will flash stock rom
now go to hboot, factory reset and restart
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1530864 this will help you just click the last option and you will be able to try again and it will work

Hey guys, I'm not very adept at android stuff so please bear with me.
I unlocked my bootloader yesterday via the HTC Dev site with an attempt to convert my ROM to CM10 (the Jellybean one). However, I realized that the process was a little too complex for me, so I decided to relock the bootloader first until I decide whether I want to get CM10/figure the process out.
Hence, I relocked the bootloader using the cmd command fastboot oem lock.
So, what I see on the command prompt is something similar to this.
<Bootloader> Lock successfully
FAILED <status read failed <Too many links>>
finished. total time: 0.142s
On the bootloader window (is that what you guys call it? It's the window you get when booting the phone while pressing power+volume down),
the information (in pink and green text) reads:
*** Relocked ***

I apologize for being a little paranoid, but since I didn't "flash" any custom ROMs or anything, but merely unlocked and relocked the bootloader, is there anything which might brick my phone when the next OTA comes in?
Also, should I be worried about the command prompt text (the one with FAILED) although the previous line reads "lock successfully"? After the relock my phone rebooted as normal, and I experience no problems using the phone.
Can anyone help with all this? Thanks in advance guys.
It's fine, you're good to go
All is good. As you haven't modified the ROM or recovery then ota will work fine.
The status read failed is nothing to worry about.
Mine does tat every time when locking or unlocking but none the less the process still completes

Thanks a lot for the replies. It had me worried there for a while. Cheers!
So if you have "relocked" your boot loader and want to unlock it again do you hace to flash the "Unlock_code.bin" again, or is there a faster way?

i have no idea what is going on here as im no dev or writer
please help i dont have another phone at the moment and desperately need it as im a community first responder and rely on being able to call ambulance service
does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem????? [/I]
To be able to run CM10 on the JB hboots you need a modified boot.img
http://db.tt/uDdWaAtH
Flash this one and reboot
So I go onto bootloader and go to recovery and it goes onto the HTC logo then black screens, before all this though, when bootloader loads up it says no image found or something like that.
Also, I have tried deleting cache.
Help?

now I can't even flash the bootloader, when I type "adb shell" I get: "error: device not found".

Thanks for your time to reply but that's the problem, I can't unlock the bootloader / restore the nandroid backup because I have literally no OS on it, when I try to do anything fastboot it just tells me that the device is not found. I've been trying to figure this out for some hours

Well, alright. So I've unlocked it again but I have absolutely no data on it, (When I go into "Install zip from sdcard" it says "No files found."
Anyone got an idea what to do?
Oh and I'm using CWM, Recovery v5.8.3.1
Flash a new recovery first. Yours doesn't support usb mass storage to copy a rom to the sdcard in the recovery

This one does.
