I have been trying to do this for ages but it just will not compile... can anyone help me? I have the source code and ndk v5rc on Ubuntu 12.10 32bit. I have also been trying to port cm7 but again the kernel is the issue

I'm a newbies on Android, but I think dev needs HTC to release new Kernel sources before adding this type of features.

Installed ubuntu to compile ws kernel but zimage won't boot. So no luck in porting pico.
You don't necessarily need the specific kernel for that. You just need to modify the BOOTCLASSPATH to add a couple things that are missing. I am getting WFS today or tomorrow and will work on porting it. Sense 3 is a cake walk compared to Sense 3.5. So don't expect it to happen overnight please.
ok heres the deal. i have been searching like crazy, d/l, re d/l, 4 different OS installed on my laptop (currently running 10.04 LTS want to run Linux Mint 12). I have been at this for a week solid to the point i can't tell you what i have done. i can tell you i looked at AOSP, android forums, droid forums and here of course.
now my question where can i get everything i need? like i have said i have looked everywhere. i have the latest sdk, jdk5 and 6 (through tedious reading and searching). I have doe so many different guides that i had to compile different commands to get things to work.
sorry for the long post i am at my wits end. any help is great help even if i have to start over again. LOL.

Hey, i have some experience with compiling cm10 from source (nook color and motorola atrix), but i cant seem to figure out why im getting builds compiled, but with some missing proprietary blobs, while others are there. Im using this local_manifest.xml http://bpaste.net/show/xho8rM6BEbaj56NhF9A7/ for syncing the repo, as its explained in the official cm10 nightly thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786696 that these are the resources to be used.
