bump!!!!...
first of all this is the wrong forum. this has nothing to do with development. please have the thread moved the Q&A section. see also: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=837781
second, if the RUU is not in the sticky at the top of this section it is unlikely that there is one.
third, it would help immensely if you could share what provider/operator your phone is from.
fourth, there is no need in bumping the thread after a few hours. we are not here to solve everyone's individual problem, if someone has an answer he will write it down sooner or later.
@mods: what's with the ten post minimum for the dev forum, doesn't work or empty promise?

have you looked on their website? they should provide the RUU. if your phone is not simlocked you can use any RUU, just be careful not to use one that can't be easily rooted.
they [vodafone] do not provide the RUU, instead they keep telling me to contact HTC, HTC says In this regard we would like to intimate you that we are not providing RUU files
I got myself a htc one x today but it has that o2 branded software.
I am looking to get the stock software on it and I don't know how.
Looking for a n00b proof guide.
Thanks for all the help in advance.
Well since nobody answered I'll. I don't want to sound like a troll but don't you think this is a bit going too far?
I don't believe that you bothered to check the 09/07/2012 Everything HTC One X. *** Read this before posting *** Sticky Roll-Up *** or use the search.
Wrong section as well. You'll know that you can't flash the stock WWE rom without SuperCID/S-OFF, and that your only alternative is to load a custom rom.
May want to alter the title slightly, at any rate.
Cheers,
Josh
Moved to Q&A but closed as well since there are already existing threads for that matter.
Hello everyone..I apologize if this is in the wrong thread..as the title states, I have some questions..I want to install viper xl but wouldn't know where to start..my one x (evita) is s-offed, has supercid, and unlocked bootloader..any help will be appreciated.
Sent from my HTC One X
First start is to go to the HTC one XL forum, this is for the international quad-core endeavouru Hox.
Check the stickies there, i bet there are good tutorials

Since this question hasn't been answered, no you won't. S-ON isn't what is keeping the phone from being a GE phone, it's an entirely different device model. You could at that point, however, install custom recoveries and ROMs that are based on 4.4.2.
Correct. He'll get 4.4.2 when VZW pushes it out. But we have numerous 4.4.2 ROMs, including a GE version.
Ok guy's went with the ATT version as the price was right.
It is already s-offed, rooted a and twrped. I have T-Mobile so need a T-Mobile rom iguess.
What do you guys suggest?
Wrong section.
This is in the wrong section mate. Second is go to the T-Mobile Android development to look at roms, and before you post in there, please post it in the Q&A section of there T-Mobile HTC One M8 forum.
Here's the T-Mobile Development page: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-htc-one-m8/development
Here's the forum for the HTC One M8 for T-Mobile: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-htc-one-m8
