Hiiii everybody,
I'm new here bacause i just brought a Htc t-mobile mytouch 3g, and i have a question (maybe a noob question) is any change that i have t-mobile or not can i flash the roms in dev section
Sorry for my bad English
If you have a mytouch 3g slide, aka HTC espresso you can flash any Rom from this dev section as long as your rooted.
If it is just a mytouch 3g look in the HTC magic/sapphire thread, I don't remember what it was called.

Ok I just looked the mytouch 3g is the htc Saphire or the htc magic. It is also in low activity/ legacy devices boards. Good luck.

im a complete noob when it comes to the current root process and im much more familiar with the APK process, like the one with the MT3G.
so can any devs give me an ETA?
sorry to sound like an asshole
As far as I know, no one is developing a "one click" apk to root.

Correct. My policy: if you're unable to follow the simple directions currently used to root the Espresso, you have no business rooting your handset in the first place. Great root comes with great responsibility. Having a little background knowledge should be a prerequisite.
Moved to Q&A, please don't post question threads in Development.

Isn't that explained in the S-OFF status thread that is stickied in the dev forum? It says once they get the S-OFF working 100%, they'll attempt to apk it to hide how they did it, only so official phone devs don't use it to make it harder to root on future phones... or somethin like that.
Yeah they should so they can't make them harder to be rooted indeed

I am using this rom since it became known, I started with expresso and now I am with 4g touch, I feel very sad because it is the style I like rom, unfortunately the chef leaves his then reported that there were some errors and resolve as recording video, opening mail attachments and put a song as an alarm. All XDA chefs are the best, please anyone could continue to build this rom. THANKS.

This thread already exists and is called: [Q] What phone are you upgrading from ?

I have the Sensation right now, but i'm thinking about keeping it or handing it over to my girlfriend (she has an AT&T phone on T-Mobile's network so her data speeds are really slow).
Off-Topic: Hey they don't have a Roboto font option on XDA yet? lol just kidding

Visit the Development threads and find your answer. Doesn't take much effort.

You're missing the point that I was making, and I also gave an appropriate answer. It's a part of the rules: search before making a new thread.
Actually, you're both missing the point
The question was about double tap to unlock, not wake, which to my knowledge is not available in custom kernels (but please feel free to correct me)
Nexus 7 LTE
