thats pretty much it, but i also check the rc files for hiccups.
To the rest of you guys, there are some data issues, but i think we can remedy them pretty easy. hell, we might have a proper updater-script by tomorrow.

Noob question guys... is this a flash able working rom. Or is it just a development base to work. And is it flash able through cwm touch? Sorry again for the noobishness

Has anyone actually downloaded it and flashed. I saw reports in other threads about data not working and a lot of lag. Im downloading this now. Just wondering if i should wait.

This is strictly my opinion, but I'd wait until someone releases a ROM with these minor things worked out. We've got a lot of great devs working on this phone and judging by what we've seen with the skyrocket leaks, it won't be long at all before we see a lot of stuff worth flashing. This one is marked as a base, so I'd wait for some things to be ironed out.

Yes lag is very present I'd wait, I think he just posted this as a starting point so unless your a Dev this is no good to you at the moment , but there's some good guys working on it so stay tuned

OK so here is my question, out of curiosity.. we have a system dump along with the leaked radio and kernel. Why does a dev need a base? Is the system dump and kernel not enough to make a base from? Jw?

So I have a couple ROMs for the Sprint S3 that I have on XDA, problem is that after i test and upload, people say theres issues with it booting,etc and i didnt have any of those issues. So if you are willing to, would anyone be interested in being a tester for my ROMs. If you are, please read the conditions below and then PM to let me know.
The ROMs are BlackJelly ROM and ButterSmooth JB ROM
To be a Tester you must:
-Have a Sprint GS3
-Be willing to flash the roms to test
-and be able to deliver me information on bugs,etc via PM on XDA.

Same here, wouldnt be a problem so can count me in. Only thing about me is i tend to be an extensive tester and extremely thorough lol almost like I an looking to find something wrong but in all reality i am just a person who wants stability with EVERYTHING inside of the ROM. *sarcasm about that being a problem *

WTF! ATT g2 has multiview! what about us??

so i was fudging around with my friends phone and we found a new ROM for him to use. He has an att g2, and we stumbled upon this

We installed it and found out that this ROM pretty much made his phone into a gnote2. he even has a fully functioning multiview! i was wondering if maybe one of the devs here could talk to the dev of the sgs2 ROM (shoman94) and see if his method could somehow help us. even though you may not have the sgs2, i suggest you check out his thread. im playing with my buddy's phone right now and everything is awesome, so i think the ROM is worth checking out just out of curiosity

I hope we get that that multview is nice

4.1.2 update just dropped internationally. Not official but a slew up new features are included. Especially multi view. Check AC

i dont know why it didnt show the full question anyways my question was about no new roms coming out for a while, see i am a xda member for years and im allways exited to see new roms out couse i like to try new things and ima rom tester, and i was wondering if the reason devs are not coming out with new things is becouse they are waiting for 4.3 to come out?

New versions of ROM's are being released every day, just because there's not a new ROM with a different name being released doesn't mean that the development community is not extremely active for this device. Look at Quantum, that ROM gets updated almost every other day.

That's just the thing. Devs are working on new ROMs. AOSP is it. The only way you will see TW 4.3 is when 1) when and if Samsung releases a 4.3 ROM for the S3 and/or 2) someone can successfully port a TW 4.3 ROM.

yeah i know devs are working hard especially quantum devs i tried that rom is awsome and im running an awsome rom called jedi academy wish brings the best of tw roms and s4 look but i never used a rom so long becouse allways someone came out with a better one haha thats why my concern so i dont want to sound rude i wanted to find an answer

Sprint LG G2 no love?

So Ive never had a device (even on sprint) that has no development to be seen within a weeks period of time. I believe the Root we have is from other devices and the CM 10.2 build that was posted was something that was supposed have never seen the light of day and was broken. I totally love this phone but I was really excited for the development aspects since its basically nexus 5 with a different shell. Anyone else with the sprint variant a little worried by the lack of interest?

I'm on the same boat, many probably are.
This phone is still solid stock.. all I really need is tethering... patiently waiting

Those other carrier variants have been out way longer than ours. We've only had ours for 1 week now. Give it a bit more time?

Development is under way. There are 2 devs working on a CM 10.2 ROM right now and another working on a version of CleanROM for us. Its going to take some time and the phone hasn't been out for a week yet.
Also the CM 10.2 ROM was removed because the build was not tested and verified by the dev to be working and they removed the links to it in case it caused a potential brick to the phone. People who downloaded the ROM say it had GPS lock and rotation issues so you don't want to download the ROM anyways. In fact they saved you the hassle of reverting back to stock or a nandroid backup. Read the last few posts in that CM 10.2 thread to get a sense of the situation.
I am not worried at all about the "lack of interest" in this phone. You have to remember that not all the potential devs have received the phone yet such as garwynn who probably just received the phone today. Lets give the potential devs some time to come out with new ROMs and other mods. There are enough ways currently to mod the current stock ROM anyways through Xposed and other mods like (increase volume).

Its only been a week. Our device was rootable even before Sprint released it. I'm not worried. For now I've been using Greenify + Titanium Backup to keep my phone in battery/performance BEAST MODE.

Install G2 xposed and you'll see you can do a lot of the customization yourself. There's also an xposed kitkat theme in the theme's section by ock. The device is already fast and ignoring aosp roms, you can customize the stock rom to your liking.

I guess I didn't think about the fact that the other variants had been out for a few months already, but I really wasn't trying to comparing them. I was just noticing that compared to devices I've had in the past (even the SGS II which I hated lol) had some things pop up pretty quickly. Also make sure that no one takes this as me complaining, just thinking out loud here.
And as to the xposed stuff, Im atually just interested in some slimed down stock roms and AOSP, but thanks for making sure I knew about it
PS: Ive also had this phone for close to a month so Im probably feeling that rom flash bug harder than most XD

I'm also getting the flash bug since, like you, I got mine mid Oct.
Great to hear though that there is development support coming. Very excited!!!

How can we help test it if we can't find the darn thing?

So far I've rooted, download rom, installed twrp, tried flashing it but it booted stuck on carbon logo. It may be because I don't have the gapps file.
Any one with a link to 4.3.1 gapps?
