Hey, quick question for anyone on AT&T with the latest OTA update to 4.1.2 - if you open a video in YouTube, rotate the screen to landscape to make the video full screen, then rotate back to portrait do you see a black or white bar above the YouTube header? (screenshots can be found in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2058881)
Just curious to see if it's a problem on the AT&T ROM or not. Thanks!
I'm updated and haven't noticed that at all.

Hey guys so whenever I capture a new picture from the stock messaging app and put it in the text box it always rotates, is there a fix for that? I want it to show the way it looks on the camera.

I had this problem as well. In my case it was because the camera was rotating automatically when i was taking the picture and didn't notice. unfortunately the auto rotate lock doesn't fix this so you just have to manually rotate it.
Yeah I have that problem too. I read on a forum that it has to do with the way Samsung handles their MetaData. So there isn't really anything we can do to fix it.

Hi all,
This is maby a real noob-question (because I missed something to download/install), but I have a problem with my camera in the Gen.Y VisionX R1A ICS ROM. The problem is that the zoom-function of the main camera doesn't work in the stock camera app (not in photo mode or in video mode). When I press the zoom buttons, the phone actually changes the call volume (the default function when viewing the homescreen). I couldn't find any information in the ROM thread, or users that have the same problem. I really like to stick with the stock camera app. Also, in video mode, the stock app is very unstable.
Are other users having the same problem? Does anybody know a fix?
Greetings,
Patrick
You can slide your finger over the zoom bar on the bottom of your screen in the camera app.

Hi! I have a Galaxy Nexus GSM, with official 4.2.1 (updated from 4.2 official) and the photosphere is not working both on 4.2 and 4.2.1... What can I do to enable it? Its the official update, havent even rooted yet... When I open photosphere it says only "Align to start" but I dont have any blue dot like I saw on youtube videos for N4, if I move the phone like the arrow shows I do a whole 360° degree and come to the same spot and no blue dot. Also the "matrix" behind the camera that should show phone's position in 3D space is always positioned as I was taking a picture of the floor and it isn't moving. Any suggestions? I upgraded to 4.2 mainly because of the photosphere feature...

I have a similar problem...am not able to make photosphere work on galaxy nexus 4.2 and 4.2.1 updated via OTA. I can see the first blue dot, but on aligning the dot in circle nothing happens....the behavior should be seeing more blue dots and moving forward to complete the sphere. hoping to find whats wrong since no one else seems to be having this issue with official update.
Does anyone else experience this? When I go from portrait to landscape, this white bar appears on the bottom of the screen. It goes away when I tap the screen. I have searched and searched but no answer. I've factory reset, done everything it still shows up. Even across roms. It happens on oos as well as every other room I've tried. Please help!
Yup, experiencing the same, no solution so far.
Also another one: app refuses to go into landscape mode after a first launch when video is loaded (it does on main screen etc). I have to press the full-screen button to go into landscape and then it works normally with gyro sensor.

Just do a pinch to zoom gesture and the bars are disappearing.
Is has to do with the screen ratio.
I have this bug / feature only when the video quality is not HD.
I thought that the video is getting smaller because it looks sharper then on 480p
BTW: what phone are you using? It doesnt look like an oneplus 3.
Then why are you posting this glitch on this area of the forum?

It is a screenshot from the YouTube app. He's watching a video about the Pixel, on the OP3 and as you can see, the white bar is on the screen.

Hi,
I noticed that in MIUI 9 which this device came with Gallery app would show a rotation button when user physically rotated mobile. This option is gone in latest MIUI 10.4.
Anyone else noticed this? It was helpful to rotate without going in notifications shade.
