Does anyone else notice some glitchiness with some games such as dead trigger and jetpack joyride? I noticed the backgrounds glitch on Joyride and dead trigger struggles a little. Anyone else noticing this? Or am I the only one? I know its not worth an exchange, just thought I would reach out to the XDA Community for help. Thanks!

Stock not rooted. I tried rooting, just wasn't worth it to me. So now, no, no root.
Possibly a power saving settings. Noticed that on Radiant after using all power save features.
I have both games and no graphic problems.
Will try it and see

Maybe it is the power saving measure. I have not had a chance to test it yet, but I will update when I do. Maybe its just that which is holding back my "graphic glitch"

Is anyone else experiencing a 1-2 a second a wake lag? I have tried using a low res wallpaper, but that doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thank you in advance

Could be an app. Apps have the another to do whatever they please when the screen turns on. Good app developers don't cause issues so don't go crazy deleting all apps. Just keep that in mind.

It happens only when I try to unlock after a bit of sleeping. Happened on stock and EB. It Isn't that big of a deal, it's just a bit annoying.. haha
It has happened to me a few times. It would not come on. I had to hit button on side 3-4 times before it did. Just random times it has done it though. I'm not sweating it.

I have the same issue, can't figure it out. That hesitation is very annoying.
None whatsoever here with a high res live wallpaper. Stock. Already over 100 apps installed. Lots of widgets.
Set CPU or anything like?
I'm on the sgs4g... There I'd a thread over there about slow wake also..

Had a noticeable lag after wake. Ran the dsexton tweak and this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=18739721.
Phone is wayyyy more responsive all around. Especially after wake. Don't notice any lag.

I experienced the lag when I inserted a micro sd into the phone. the card was an 8gb class 6. Once it was removed, the wake up lag disappeared strangely.

this is what just happened!
my phone was on my desk for about an hour of not using, them....my secondary phone rings and someone tells me that my phone is closed. i said, wtf? then....i pressed power button.....nothing......picked it up.....the phone WAS HOTTTTTT at the earpiece area and the camera area and it didnt want to turn on. i removed the battery, then it started and the battery was at 4% from 30% on hour ago!
what was this? anyone else with this?
You were running GPU hungry apps on the background of the phone. Don't worry, just make sure you have a ha bit of closing and deleting apps that you don't need.
i didnt start anything......and how come it was dead....and only started after pulling the battery out!?

The way I understand it is this...
Google spends a TON of money developing the Android Platform. It was orginally and continues to pride itself on multi tasking. That said they didn't just forget that programs running in the background could drain the battery. Android manages your apps perfectly and to think they would leave it up to a 3rd party software to assist the OS is a joke. App management software is bad, all bad.
More people come on here asking why their phone suddenly died, and majority of them have app management programs. Don't know if they are causing the issue, but it seems possible.
Hope that helps

I have a weird problem with my phone. Every so often, my phone wjll vibrate twice, in two really short bursts that arent powerful at all. It is completely random. And whenever im playing music, it will stop the music for 5 seconds. If anyone knows what this is it would be greatly appreciated because this is happening on my new phone, as well as my last two galaxy s 2's (ive gotten 3 replacements)

What apps do you have that give off frequent notification? Do you have facebook, friendcaster, word w/f, etc.? Can you give us a small run down?
you can also download betterbatterystats (free here on XDA) and look at what frequently runs perhaps it appears as a wakelock.
or you can always look at logcat

It's a kernel crash. It's a part of android. It usually happens to let you know that it crashed but android reloads where it last left off. Hence the reason for the gap in music. If you press home immediately after you will catch it trying to finish reloading.

Try running master's kernel cleanser and reinstalling the kernel, that's a place to start

Is the same app running every time it happens? It may be a 3rd party app that isn't completely compatible running on your phone. Try deleting any third party widgeta.. then going into your task manager and clearing your memory. Then add one widget at at time til it starts doing it. If it doesn't do it, then open one of your e eryday apps at a time till you have the vibrating again. You may find some crappy lil app that you installed is causing all the problems.

Task claims there is no problem on his end. my phone is a recent refurb so I don't know if its my phone or not. I pulled a kmsg but cant really tell what the hell is going on. thanks for anyone's help

Wait for an Instragram update and try again.
I'm just wondering if anyone else is getting error 0041 on Netflix. I thought it might be the fact that I wasn't on Wi-Fi, but when I was running off my home network I still have issues playing anything.
Here's hoping for a fix.

You could try to use Team Black Out's version of Netflix and see if you have better luck. It might be a little different. It's definately easier on the eyes and on your battery. Hope this helps.

+1 for all the Blacked Out/Cleared Out apps from Team Black Out! I am using their clear Netflix on my tablet running CM 11 and no problems. Haven't tried it on my phone though.
