Attempted to recover photos before factory reset... - Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

A friend of mine has a Galaxy Note 2 and it freeze after bootup. It just shows the Samsung logo. It won't go any further.
She said that she installed a game and after that, it just froze.
How do I access the data/photos before factory-reset?

[Q] galaxy nexus stuck in a boot loop

I've got an unrooted, galaxy nexus, android version 4.2.1. When I unplugged it from my charger this morning it went into an endless boot loop. It tries to restart but never gets past the screen that just says google on it. I took out the battery and tried to restart it, I tried to go into recovery mode, and i tried to a factory reset. I never got past the screen that says google while trying all of these. Anyone have this problem before, or has any idea how to fix it?

What do i need to do to get it back up?
I can get into the default recovery, should i do a factory reset?

[Q] Update ran and stuck in att logo

We my son was using my phone GS3 and pressed on to update. he thought it was a game update, but once it ran it boot then it will be stuck in the ATT logo. I kept tying to reset nothing it boots but once in att logo it stops. i also went in to clear the cach anf reset to factory and still no responds please help.....
Was the phone rooted? Does it have a custom recovery? These two things can cause an ota to fail.

Tab stuck in endless com.android.keygaurd // setting has stopped loop

I had to factory reset my tab a few days ago since it was in a endless reboot loop (the samsung tab 3 logo would flash on for a few seconds then off then on) until it looped its self to death. I did a factory reboot and now I at least got past the reboot loop from hell but now all it does is keep popping up com.android.keygaurd // setting has stopped with a white or black background. I wiped the chache and rebooted again. Same thing. I let it die then charged to 100%. Same thing. This thing is about to take trip to a gun range or find a home under the tire of my car if I cant get it fixed.
Also this is pure stock. No custom ROM, nothing. Its a samsung from sprint that I bought from someone well over a year ago and have not had issues until about a week ago.
Try deleting the cache partition in recovery. If that doesn't work use odin to reflash your stock os with pit file that wipes and re partitions to stock and let me know

Tablet stuck in boot loop after factory data reset

Hey guys,
So few days ago I decided to do a factory data reset on my tablet since it was moving very slow. I activated it through settings (not recovery mode) and my tablet had about 35-40% of battery. Long story short, my tablet now is in boot loop, not showing anything else except "Samsung galaxy tab 3". The thing is that this is not the first time for her getting stuck there, before I had the same problem when tried to root it, but then I simply flashed a new stock ROM and everything worked fine. This time flashing a new ROM didn't help me, I also cannot access recovery mode, only download. What do I do now?
I have the same problem on my Tab 3. Hope someone has a solution to this problem.
I've been doing a lot of flashing lately, including the stock ROM via odin, and have found that the first boot doesn't complete... I shut it down, go into recovery, do a factory reset, then boot, and it comes up fine. I'm not sure why you can't access recovery mode, but if you can, maybe try that?
Removing the external SD card solved my problem, so if you have a SD card plugged in, remove it. You can plug it back when the boot animation will start (not the "Samsung Galaxy Tab 3" splash screen).
