Perhaps you can disable it in application management.
If not, root and delete it entirely.

Weather & toggle widget draining battery?

Hey guys!
I've been using the weather & toggle widget for about 2 days now. but last night my battery was around 85% when I went to slp. That was about 1 in the morning. Then as I woke up at 6.40, the battery is already at 55%! I was totally shocked to find this out.
My question is, where did all that juice go? Is it the weather & toggle widget? Coz something seems to be using the hsdpa connection about once a minute, n I've turn off background data I'm the settings.
Is the widget using the connection to update the clock or something? Can it really use up that much battery? If it helps, I'm on stock rom n using launcher pro. Thanks guys
First of all, if you don't use the widget is everything OK? If yes, than you have your answer. You can report to author of widget and optionally wait for fix, or look for another one.

[Q] Tasks running in background more than before.

I am on CR_Mod_1.35.531_OTA and never had an issue with 15-30 tasks running in the background every so often. I recently bought Widget Locker and then downloaded some widget clocks and thought maybe that was the issue, so I uninstalled them all. I've always had Droid Wall and Task Killers, but this problem has just popped up since a couple of days ago. Could this be related to the Widget Locker lockscreen?
And tips on how to stop these apps from starting on their own? It's really annoying.
Also, these clock widgets I've downloaded always seemed mini and tiny on my phone. In pictures they were an acceptable size, like a normal clock app. Why have they shrunk on my phone? Widgets like D-Clock.
Thanks in advance.

.
No shameless bump.
task panel has an auto kill feature.

Widgets on both Sense and Launcher Pro

Maybe this has been addressed. But I switch between sense and launcher pro sometimes. I have all my widgets on both launchers, does having widgets on both cause more of a battery drain ? or affect it in any way ? Should you only have widgets on one launcher at a time ?
Anyone ? Has anyone noticed a problem
Shouldnt cause excessive drain because the launchers wouldn't be running at the same time. And if they do, only one will be updating. So if you had twitter on both, but you are currently using launcherpro, only launcherpro's twitter widget will be updating. As soon as you switch to Sense, you'll have to either manually update for it to catch up, or just wait for the autosync.

Beautiful widgets battery widget incorrect.

As above. Love the weather and battery widget and doesn't drain the battery at all BUT my battery widget is always different to my phone stats. At present my phone says 35% but widget says 30%. When fully charged the widget stays at 100% for ages then drops to 95% with no in between. Is this just a software bug with the app?

I'd stop using it anyway. Circle Battery Widget is by *far* the most accurate battery widget I've ever used. I've had it on my past 3 phones, and it's always worked flawlessly. Instead of grabbing the numbers from the operating system it uses the mAh rating to calculate the %. You can even see the exact numbers, if you want. Pretty great widget.
Simi clock also have this issue ...

widget syncing

I have been using Buzz Launcher for quite a long time because of its unique esthetics.
On my Xiaomi Mi Note Pro the widgets were accurate, especially the clock widget but since I switched to other phones, the clock widget is frequently late compared to the true time.
I have been used to it but if someone know what I could do to have my clock widget accurate, I would be quite happy.
I have already turned off battery optimization for Buzz Launcher and Buzz Widget apps.
Remove battery optimization for that widget app

Make sure the apps permission is on. It may be off and therefore. giving a hard time updating.

I did that, and I thought it worked... but now my widget clock is again 8 minutes late.
