Hi,
I have a board game app for Android on Google Play and recently I have started to get downloads from users with the Nexus 7. The problem is that I Nexus 7 users are sending an error report which shows that the app is crashing at start-up with a Resources$NotFoundException. The problem seems to be unique to Nexus 7 users.
I have since updated the app but would like some testers who can give me feedback to let me know if the problem is fixed before I submit the update to Google Play. I cannot reproduce the error on an emulator.
Your feedback will be most appreciated.
Works on mine. I can't figure it out and lost, but no errors.
I'm running a custom rom and kernel though. EOS and Trinity

Works well, however it needs to explain how to play better.
Works fine for me on stock ROM.

Worked fine for me. Paranoid 2.1.1

Thanks
Thanks to all the testers.
I really appreciate all the feedback.
I will make a YouTube video which might explain how to play the game better than the instructional text in the game.
To those that are interested, you can try out the unlimited free version of the app (ad-supported) in my signature.
Maybe a tutorial in game too? Highlight each moment and why...

Thanks for the idea. I will look into that.
App crashing specifically on Nexus 7
Hi,
I'm also having the same problem of app crashing on Nexus 7 devices. I can't figured out why as I have not uploaded the app on market. Can you tell me what things you have updated in your app for fixing that. Please your help will be appreciated.
Thank You.
I am using the older version or dolphin browser and boat but they crash way to much, also didn't like Firefox although that's what I use on PC. Is there a browser that is stable with flash? Froyo on my phone plays flash better than this, it sucks!

Install the app called 'Boat Browser'
I'm using xscope browser. It's not perfect but works quite well so far. Maybe give it a try.

As much as I think flash is dead and websites should update to HTML 5, that's just not going to happen. I would suggest side-loading flash player and using Firefox Beta, that worked well last time I tried, needed to watch Eastenders on BBC iPlayer.

Chrome doesn't support plugins such as flash, remember stock browser on Nexus 7 Jelly Bean is Google Chrome.
Stock AOSP browser with side loaded flash.apk works perfectly.

Worked for me just fine, just installed flash and aosp browser, and iPlayer side loaded works fine without the need of the browser as well.

Have you tried reading the thread at all? It installs different stuff on your N7 that you select, flash and browser been 2 of them. Flash it in recovery. If your stuck ask in that thread and I'm sure someone will be happy to show you how.

Adobe discontinued flash for Android. ICS was the last version. You're in luck to still be able to get your hands on it. Save it in a safe place, dropbox, etc... It's working fine in JB cuz I'm using it now on JB.

Try this. Just install the latest Android version and use your stock browser. You might need to put the browser in desktop view.Flash works fine. Beware, your battery will drain faster. Works on stock JB.

I think it's my ROM. Its weird because it's a stock based ROM. FREEGS3 7.1.1 guess I'll be moving to another ROM tonight once in out of school. Flash although dead is used in so many places, it's insane.

I loved the fact that I can view videos/websites on my 4.0.4 ICS device. I know its slow, but I still love it. I flashed the .apk to view flash and it works awesome!

You could at least try different kernel, geez
It works fine on Xenon (one before latest) and motley kernel. Try that combo.

do you think i can try the lastest 7.1 xenon and it will work?
I am not 100℅ sure that it will work but it should because they usually built their updates based upon the latest built. But I would suggest you to make a nandroid backup and back up your apps and data and give it a shot with the combination given by droid117.
Hope this help

Thanks. I can't seem to find anything in the stickies except questions regarding the new build. The note 2 toolkit doesn't seem to help. I've tried several versions but can't seem to make it stick. Maybe I'll just have to wait.

As long as the MH3 boot loader permits Odin access this option should work. I recommend following this up with an odin install of Phil's CWM recovery if you intend to flash any custom roms or want to make a full backup.
