How to root build JZ054K.I317UCAMH3 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I just got a shiny new Note 2 coming from a nexus 4. Tried to root but can't seem to find this build anywhere. It updated right after I got the phone and I didn't even realize it was a new update. Any thoughts? I'd really like to clean up this phone! JZ054K.I317UCAMH3

Thanks. I can't seem to find anything in the stickies except questions regarding the new build. The note 2 toolkit doesn't seem to help. I've tried several versions but can't seem to make it stick. Maybe I'll just have to wait.

Wondering if that new update is blocking your root process??

As long as the MH3 boot loader permits Odin access this option should work. I recommend following this up with an odin install of Phil's CWM recovery if you intend to flash any custom roms or want to make a full backup.

From within the menu 'about the phone' at the bottom of settings menu. You'll find system update there.
Of course this will only work if JB is officially released in your area/provider.

You should add more info about your phone. what are you in now? ICS 4.0.4? also your is jakju or what?
Just root.
You're missing half the point of the Nexus IMO.

+1 with that...
You don't even need to root, unlock your bootloader, fastboot a factory image and you are done (This will wipe EVERYTHING including your SD card though)
All the info you need is in the guides links in the stickies, there even stickies on how to convert to the "fast update" train of the google updated versions.

HOW CAN I TELL WHICH FIRMWARE I HAVE ON MY DEVICE
Using any file manager app, go into your /system folder and open the file called "build.prop". Find the line that starts with ro.product.name. Whatever comes after the equals sign (=), that's the firmware you have.

Stable flash browser anywhere? , grrrr

I am using the older version or dolphin browser and boat but they crash way to much, also didn't like Firefox although that's what I use on PC. Is there a browser that is stable with flash? Froyo on my phone plays flash better than this, it sucks!

Install the app called 'Boat Browser'
I'm using xscope browser. It's not perfect but works quite well so far. Maybe give it a try.

As much as I think flash is dead and websites should update to HTML 5, that's just not going to happen. I would suggest side-loading flash player and using Firefox Beta, that worked well last time I tried, needed to watch Eastenders on BBC iPlayer.

Have you tried reading the thread at all? It installs different stuff on your N7 that you select, flash and browser been 2 of them. Flash it in recovery. If your stuck ask in that thread and I'm sure someone will be happy to show you how.

there's actually a faster way, assuming he wants a custom rom
But there's a deeper issue here: understanding his call delay, rebooting, and lag. If he's on a custom kernel, that might explain it.
everything is stock just unlocked bootloader.

Did you try to see if you have their issues too with a custom custom 4.2.x ?

this.
op probably got OTA
Do you overclock, underclock ?
So if you want to try custom ROM flash one and see if you still have your problems and if they are gone you will never want to go back to stock

There's a build.prop tweak that can do this. You will need root in order to get it to work though, or you won't be able to write to it...
