Q about hboot - HTC One X

Ok so I'm a longtime android user/flasher (ooer) but would like a couple of questions answered.
Gps don't work on higher hboots on 4.1 why exactly. Is it cause of no kernel source.
Why does it work on the 4.2 roms I've seeN
thanks

How do you change Hboot.img? Are you pushing it using adb? I couldn't flash it using fastboot.

Should be due to kernel.Try flashing stock kernel and check if it`s solved.

You all misunderstand me. I have no issues(I read ops) I wanted to know for future reference.

[Q] Stock ROM rooted

Hi, I've unbricked my device and I am tired on custom ROMs. Is there a ROM wat's stock with root? Coz I don't have a backup, and RUU is bricking the phone. I just want stock ROM with custom recovery.

It's booting.. I will see.
EDIT: HTC updates exists! Praise the Lord!

So, we can't S-off, can we still change ROM?

I've recently made the switch from a HTC Desire to a HTC One V. I don't mind the stock ROM, but the battery life sucks... Looking around, i see the bootloader unlocks easily, and rooting can be done easy, but I always thought without s-off, we couldnt change the ROM?
Anyway, i'm itching to find out what is doable here, and you guys are the experts... Fill me in will ya?
After unlocking the bootloader and rooting, you can install any ROM and any Kernel you'd like as long as it's compatible with the ROM you're planning to use. We have a variety of awesome ROMs including Sense ROMs if you like Sense or Vanilla ICS/JB if you like that, too. SuPrimo and myOneV are Sense ROMs and CyanogenMod 9 is stock ICS and CyanogenMod 10 is stock Jelly Bean. Go ahead and pick your poison.

As we don't have s-off till now hence you have to flash kernels through fastboot and after that you can flash roms(compatible with flashed kernel) via recovery.....

So its not possible to install different RUUs to phone as long as it's not s -off, am I right?

still stuck
i still have the same problem is there any good news about my problem
Try wiping everything then mounting USB in recovery and copy over an asop ROM that is 4.1.2 fixed my problem with sensors not working. Doesn't work for everyone but worth a try...

[Q] OTG Self powered kernel for ICS

Hi guys
I have a question. I'm quite new to one X modding. I have unlocked bootloader in my new hox, then I rooted the device. I'm still using ICS because I don't have possibility to upgrade it to jb - my cid is orangb10. I heard that on jb, kernel supports self powered otg mode. I'm looking for kernel like that for ICS. Could you tell me sth about it? Which should I use?
And second question is: if there no way to gain self powered otg I found the enternity project kernel which supports otg mode. Can I flash it on stock ROM? Or maybe you know better kernel?
Many thanks
