Ok.
Wanted to ask, how can we activate a 100% deep sleep, when we turn off the screen, when it's locked.
I want the phone to go deep sleep immediately, it sometimes works, sometimes not.
Sometimes it drains over 15-20% per night, sometimes no % at all.
What could be the prob?
the one usually causing deep sleep not working is the apps installed in your phone. that apps sometimes work without you noticing it is running in the background and this apps cause the phone to be still awake.
download Better Battery Stat and IIRC see if there's any partial wake lock IIRC

I'm having a lot of problems with Wapedia lately, it gives me a "Connection refused by the host", no matter for what I search?
Does this happen to anybody else?
i dont have this problem,
but wapedia eats battery in the background, i dont use it anymore
I reinstalled it, now it's working.
How have you found out that it kills battery? Maybe it would help if you installed a task killer and set it to be automatically killed.
i have installed it at a random night, start to use it while my battery is charged to 100%. When the battery is charged and i want to go to bed, i switched the phone to airplane mode and went to sleep. At 8Am i noticed that my battery has dropped to 80% which is not normal. Normally when i switch to airplane mode it drops only 2-4 percent. And also the screen on time keeps on counting when the display is of, this is also not normal.
I can use a task killer, but i prefer not to. I dont want to kill a task everytime when i close it.
My HOX does not enter deep sleep at all on wifi (according Cpu Spy). Resulting: battery drain 15-20% /h idle.
Did a factory restore, but to no avail. The problem is still there. If I dissable wifi, phone enters deep sleep in 2-3 minutes.
Some others who have experienced similar? solutions?
ohh .. Phone is running OTA JB.
Run this app and let the phone sit for some time.
Then check results and you'll find out what is preventing deep sleep.
Is it normal for this phone not to deep sleep? I installed CPU spy and it shows that it always stays at 300mhz when the phone is idling. I have all apps closed in the recent apps tray and my phone is stock. Just wondering if this is normal. Thanks
I've been wondering the same thing... battery seems fine and none of my apps or keeping the device away, so I'm assuming it's the whole dt2w feature they have on it. Plus, they mention a "sleep mode" on the HTC website, so maybe they got their own thing or something...
Any info would be nice.
EDIT: Apparently, while charging the device, it will rarely go into deep sleep mode. After I took it off the charger, it was going into deep sleep exactly like it should.
I have a weird problem. I went to bed with 64% battery and woke up 4-5 hours later with 42%. I checked my stats and saw that for the duration of my sleep (while probably in Doze mode) the screen was 100℅ on and the device 100% awake.
Is this a known issue or am I the first? I always put the notification slider to priority during sleep. See attached screenshots.
I have the same issue however mine is only when i get certain notifications, mostly when Spotify is running and snapchat notifications. Running Oxygen 3.2.4
I'm on Atomic and from the beginning I've got a problem with battery drain. This night I charged phone to 100% and during the night I plugged out the charger. NFC / WIFI / DATA / GPS OFF. After 1,5h from 100% battery drain to 93% !

From what I see WIFI running whole the time (even it was off) + phone is not going to deep sleep whole time but stays 518,4Mhz for long time
Any ideas what to do ?
I found that one of miui apps captures tcp dump. If you look under the /MIUI/debug_log/common you will find 2 PCAP files called tcpdump.pcap0 and tcpdump.pcap1
I think that miui findphone application creates it, because i have set disabled "find my phone" and cleared data of these app and files did not appear again
I'm not on MIUI.
So... you can have enabled "always scan" option in wifi setting.

Ok I have disabled this option.
Lets see after some time, but I feel like something is keeping my phone awake and it is not getting to deep sleep all the time..
There is a module for magisk that force Doze.

Try turning off nfc.
I have installed crDroid and looks like drain gone. Just NFC has to be off.
