Did some searching, didn't find another post about this, and if it's out there it may be buried (I apologize if that's the case). Anyway, thinking of getting a new Galaxy Tab soon, does anyone know of any good keyboard/touchpad combos or cases with built in keyboard/touchpads?
My office allows us to use Citrix Receiver to remotely log into our computers so I'm exploring the idea of using this as a computer on the go when I need it out in the field.
Any help you could provide would be appreciated!

I have just made a contact through my company where i will be able to get accessories for the xda2s and other HTC devices at a good price.
Im that fed up of searching for things for the xda2s and only getting a couple results off ebay so i decided to do something about it.
i haven't got prices but i should be able to get some deals on:
GPS car kits
Car kits
Batteries
Cases
or anything else which you might want
the only thing is that i will have to buy some of these items in bulk so i just want to get a feel for what peeps want.
PM if you want a specific item i can get a price for you
please don't delete this post because im technically selling. Thinking about it im not selling anything I haven't got anything to sell at the moment maybe think of it as a service for those hard to find accessories.
your comments welcome
Rob
I don't even know if what I want exists yet. But you can see what I want in the following thread:
Link
If you have anything like that (or can get it) let me know...
I found a few old (and dead) threads on the subject, but I wanted to start a new one now that there are a lot more Evo owners out there who may help keep this going. Feel free to bump this and maybe we can get some support from the devs by demonstrating this will be worth their while.
I have read that the phone was not loaded with a proper Bluetooth stack making the Evo incompatible with several Bluetooth devices out there; the PS3 being one of them. I don't know how accurate that is, or if there are more underlying issues which prevent my requests from being plausible. With that said, here is a list of things I would be interested in:
1) Instead of paying $20 for the Blu-Ray remote for the PS3, I'd rather pay for an app that can control the basic functions of the PS3's media player. Me, personally, I don't like using the PS3 controller for video playback AT ALL. Also, it'd be one less remote to have in the house if I can use my phone instead of Sony's remote.
2) Use my phone as a headset. I cannot stand having an earpiece or headphones on for longer than a few minutes. If I could just pair my phone to the PS3 with a speaker phone option during online gaming, that would be LOVELY.
3) The most obvious one is being able to use the phone as a keyboard instead of buying the keypad that attaches to the PS3 controller. I do have the keypad, but I would put it on eBay in a split second if I were able to do it with my phone.
I'm sure there are some other things people have thought of that would be handy. Feel free to PM me anything else you may want to be able to do and I will gladly add it to the OP. Hopefully there are enough people out there interested in this so as to warrant the devs taking the time to figure this out. Honestly, I do not have the time to maintain a bounty thread, and it is not my intention to start one. However, I will say that I will make a $50 donation to anyone who can get this to work, as that is how much the Blu-Ray remote and keypad cost me on eBay. I am confident that I will not be the only one who donates, but again, this is not a bounty thread and will not be treated as such. If you say you will donate and one of the devs comes through, please keep your word and make your donation.
Mods: My apologies if anything I posted here is outside of the guidelines of this forum; feel free to call me out on any changes I should make.
Thanks in advance to all the devs, mods and forum members for your support on this.
sounds like a good idea, but also sounds far away from become a reality
HOPE THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENS

Our phones can already work as remotes for certain applications, which leads me to believe it can be done by someone with the knowledge and (more importantly) the drive. With apps like Gmote 2.0 already on the market, I don't see why not. I have a Samsung Bluetooth ear piece that pairs to my PS3, and it is 2-3 years old, at least. Why can't the phone do it?
Maybe an app isn't even necessary. Maybe it can be a flashable file that just adds Bluetooth info to whatever is on the phone.
I'm pretty sure this is possible. +1
Devs will correct me if I am wrong.
I love this idea. Id throw in 20 if its workable.
And another twenty if I could use my phone as a tv remote.

Well, now that a root method was found for Evoers with 2.2, maybe this thread will be more successful.
almost over a year old. Ill throw 10$ into a pool to get this working.
Hello;
I'm planning an event and I want to do a game to brake the ice where guests look at other people's old photos (when they were kids) and try to guess who's who. The easiest way to do this would be with an app. To keep developing costs down, we'll have a couple of tablets for people to use (the photos will be printed and displayed) so we don't need an app that works with everyone's phone. Just one single model of Android tablet. Much easier to debug.
I haven't found any website that provides a platform for this game, but it looks to me that the code for a simple kids learning game like "Match the animal's photo with the name" could be easily recycled into the app that I'm looking for. Anyone interested? What do you guys think that it would cost to develop something like this?
I realize this may not be the best area for this post. Any suggestions on where to post it would be appreciated!

Hi, maybe interested. what is budget and timeline? if you don't feel comfortable, you can pm me?
Hi all, I see lots of articles and threads about how to Miracast from a phone/tablet or Desktop to a Fire TV, but I cant' seem to find any information about whether or how to cast using the Fire TV as a source. I suspect this is a function of Amazon's preferring you to just buy additional sticks, and at $40 per, it's not really a huge return on investment to put great efforts into. But here's what I'm looking to do...
I have a FireTV box feeding a primary display in my living room. I have a small TV in the kitchen I'd like to run the same image to. It's too far away to allow an HDMI splitter to get it done, so I did buy a second Fire TV unit, a stick for the secondary display. Ideally I'd like to be able to display the same ting on both screens so people can move between the kitchen and primary viewing area, and ultimately, even be able to move to the bedroom, and keep the same thing playing at all locations. So the living room FireTV box becomes a Miracast source and the one in the kitchen becomes the destination.
I know Miracast is supported Android to Android, but I can't seem to find any apps or options that would allow me to get the Fire TV going as a *SOURCE* for mirroring. As an android under the hood, it should be there, but I'm sure there are lots of reasons Amazon might not want us to do this.
Am I crazy for hoping to make this work? Am I barking up the wrong tree? Is there any other options for making something like this work?
thank you for any thoughts or suggestions!
Kind Regards,
pol
Hi, did you find a solution?
I have exactly the same problem.
Hi there, I'm sorry but I've not gotten any replies or found any solution for this. It's really surprising to me, though. I don't feel like I'm asking for something too crazy here but still I can't find anything, though I do keep looking. I'll gladly share here if I do, please let me know if you find anything yourself.
thanks!
Hi There I have scoured the XDA forums for up to date information on either the LDU S10 or Note 10 device range. Unfortunately there seems to be very little information on hand, which is unusual considering there are loads of threads about previous Galaxy S series LDUs and retail mode disabling.
If anyone has information about disabling retail mode on the current generation devices, your help is much appreciated.
Note: The password 5444 trick that used to work no longer does, which would allow factory reset and MDM removal. Now I don’t plan on taking a gamble using ODIN to try and flash stock N975F onto my N975X device for fear of bricking. I have successfully flashed S6 devices in the past but I’m a bit more reluctant with the lack of info on hand.
Any help is much appreciated, those of you who might be inclined to post ‘This is a retail device, you shouldn’t have it’ - I would politely state I bought this on ebay as a legitimate listing and would like to use it for Android Studio App development for my final year college project. I have used LDUs in the past as an access point to development on Android as my daily driver is iOS and I wanted to break away from Xcode for a different challenge. I do computer science and have a passion for smartphones so spending 1200€ to do App testing on a Note10 Plus is not an option when I paid similar for my daily driver.
To clarify when I say a ‘legitimate ebay listing’ - if I can purchase on ebay with my own money that is my business and clearly satisfies eBays user agreement. Thanks in advance, all info welcome.
Same here
