More multi window apps? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note II

I looked and couldn't find if there was a hack/mod to make multi window work with all the apps.
Besides flashing a custom Rom.

Nobody?
I know it can be done. The custom roms have this feature. I just want it on the stock rom.

The words mod/ hack go hand and hand with root/ flash. Unkess you are rooted with mwc or xposed framework it aint happening

[Q]CRT off

Hi, everyone!
I was just wondering if there is a way that I can get CRT off animation for a stock rooted rom? I really want to keep stock because of the S-Pen features. Plus, the fact that risking a bad IMEI after flashing a custom rom makes me cringe.
I am with the stock Wind 4.1.2 T889v, rooted.

Its that effect that's in nexus devices. It's the one that makes it look like you just turned off your old school TV.

Not sure if this will work, but worth a try. Nandroid first of course.

You'll need a few edits to services.jar and android.policy.jar, PLUS you need a kernel that supports it - on the stock kernel the effect is intermittent at best.
The man has spoken.

I don't understand why this isn't standard on AOSP and non AOSP ROMs alike. Is Samsung going out of its way to remove this?

Multi Window Function

Hey
I just wanted to know, if I go for a AOSP Rom for the Note2 ... is there anyway to get the Multi Window Fuction running on such ROM's?
This is the only feature of the Note 2 that is stopping me, Installing a AOSP Rom.
Thanks

No. Not the way it is on TW. Also questions go in Q&A.

Closest thing to multi Window would be Halo))). You should find that in most aosp roms such as Carbon rom.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda app-developers app
that will mean only those apps can have a pop up floating mode that will show give notifications?

Anyone find a way to get the Sammy stock keyboard working on any AOSP Roms?

I found one file but it didn't work. Does anyone know if this is even possible?
No. Sorry... stock Sammy keyboards won't work on aosp.. I believe its a framework thing.

Certain Customizable Options?

Alright fellow T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owners
We know that there is a NAV Bar.
I was wondering a few things with this option in mind.
Is it possible if we have the NAV Bar, Can we edit the right button as back and the left button as menu/recent?
If this is possible I have a follow up question. Is it possible to disable the capacitive keys and home button?
Last question.
If you run the Jedi Elite ROM and pulled out your S Pen you get this [email protected]$$ light saber noise. Is there anyway to have that in a flashable zip if your running a different rom?
Thanks again and no disrespect to the Jedi Elite, DarthStalker, Wicked, or the Dev / Devs / Dev teams that created them.

Part 3 of that question I can help with a little. The sounds are here:
System>media>audio>ui
Look for the Pen attach and detach .ogg files. You can copy them from Jedi or extract them from the ROM itself if it's not installed anymore.

I figured that out yesterday bu myself when I was tinkering in the Root Browser app but, Thank you for verification. So I know what I did is OK. Now I'll wait if anyone has answers for the first 2 questions.
