Hi all. Is there any way to remove default GB android lockscreen ?
I have already removed HtcLockScreen.app and I want to remove GB locker too. I want to replace stock lockscreen with Holo Locker app from market. I moved Holo Locker into a system applications. Two lockers are redundant.
There is an app 'no lock' which can disable your default lockscreen. Try it.

Thank you for recomandation but I donĀ“t want another app. I just wanna remove it from the system.
This cannot be done in the stock ROM, you cannot remove it. Also, the HOLO locker app must be having a setting somewhere to disable it... In cyanogenmod based roms, you can disable it in the security settings.

hey, how can i change only the lock sreen wallpaper?
I don't think you can, but could be wrong as although I got my GN this morning I'm still in work and only turned it on once to get the OTA update
it cant be done by default, i use WidgetLocker, the latest update has the ICS lock which you can customize to open other apps or change settings as well as just unlock and camera like the stock one and you can of course have an secondary wallpaper just for the lock sceen
Hi,
WidgetLocker is the best way to change wallpaper and design of your Lockscreen.
You can add widget and custom sliders.
I use WidgetLocker since I had my first android phone
yeah, widgetlocker (and maybe some other custom lock screens) allow you to change you lock screen wallpaper.
your only other option is to Root and install a custom ROM which allows this feature by default...like AOKP
Euroskank kangs have this cherry picked. Should be in cm9 nightly soon.

Hi! I'm pretty new to the rooting world and this GW is my very first Android smartphone. I rooted my phone and currently using stock rom. I would like to know if there's any way to remove the huge clock on the lock screen without downloading any lockscreen app. Is it possible to customize it like hide it or change the font to an invisible one? The huge clock is blocking my lockscreen wallpaper and I hate it. All help shall be well appreciated. Thanks!

I think that is very unlikely to change w/o using third party app. U can try Go Locker. It can let u to disable the clock and date on the lock screen. Besides,
it provides quite a lot of customized theme too.
Use Go Locker is the best way for me
I think u cant do that thing
Thanks for all your suggestions. Is it possible to use the go locker while using the tw app? i like tw because i like the default look of gingerbread.

To date, you can only change it with an additional app. Cheers.
Hmm, AFAIK, there's no other choice than install an additional locker app.
If you mean you don't want to buy Widget Locker as your additional app, then there are a few free and amazing lock apps on the Market/Google Play, like Go Locker and MiLocker. You should go try it.
Simple apps, awesome lockscreens!
1. Holo Locker
I believe most of you know about it.
It's light and very easy to use. But only one pattern is available and it overrides any stock password/pattern!
2. WidgetLocker Lockscreen
This is the most amazing app i have ever seen. Highly customizable with many formats and allows using applications/widgets on the lockscreen! It also allows to apply two lockscreen pattern on one screen!
3. Lockbot
Lockbot is also very nice and customizable lockscreen app. It allows you create new theme from existing theme!
4. Go Locker
Go Locker is also nice app and has large number of supporting themes available at Google Play
Alternative
But these don't provide any customization in case you have a lockscreen pattern.
If you have rooted your phone then alternatively u can also use uot kitchen.

Just choose you lockscreen upload your files and then flash the zip!:good:
Just gonna throw this up as well(since it's not available in google play anymore):
MiLocker: http://goo.gl/HFRJA (miui lockscreen themes works using this)
Both HoloLocker and WidgetLocker lags when waking up the phone after some time inactive. I have never found a lockscreen app that is lag free
Sorry for bad english.
most of the lock screen apps make the phone work in turtoise speed... i mean verry slow !!! suggest some which are fast ..
On my stock KK lockscreen, I removed the default clock widget (the basic text with the time and date) and now I can't get it back. It isn't appearing in the list of lockscreen widgets!
How do I re-add it to my lockscreen without doing a factory reset!?
BTW, by "remove" I mean that I dragged it over to the Remove slot and it was just removed from the lockscreen. I did NOT freeze the clock widget or delete it via Titanium Backup or something.

Just remove all widgets from the lockscreen and it will automagically reappear. LG's logic... They screwed some things with this KK update. The stock LG weather lockscreen widget of 4.1.2 to me is a huge loss.

Thank you. That worked, despite it being stupid to have to do that. :/
I also think it's stupid that they give use a favorite contacts widget, but it can't be used on the lockscreen.
I agree that they screwed some things up too. Overall, the update is great, but for me, getting rid of the aspect ratio correction option in settings is a huge screw up. I have apps that I rely on for work that don't display right without that option. It's pissing me off now that they don't display correctly!!!
