they will all be buggy at this point in development... he's just giving you guys options of trying something different.. even the official aopk mako is buggy.. it's been ported from the nexus 4 and all of theirs is still WIP...
So what's different from CM 10.1?
Just curious.

As far as core functions, nothing is different. I built it using chadouming github. Its really just the settings that are availible in the rom itself. More ability to tweak in AOKP is all really.
Cool. Thanks.

Houstonn is right, I don't forsee this really being less buggy than chad's cm10. Though I havn't had many issues while using it the last few days.
As for the cap keys, I'm very new to development, so although I will be trying to resolve the issue...I doubt I'll be the one to succed. Can't see it taking too long before a fix is availible by someone though.
Will it works on E971?

Have you run the CM10? If that worked, this does too.
Regardless, I'm almost positive it will work just fine.
I just installed cm10.1 from chad on my e971, works fine so far. Wish I had seen this thread 20 mins before I installted it. Congrats on having a new rom it is needed!
Well it is built from sources of CM10.1 ROM in dev section which currently runs how it should for now on my E971 so don't see why not.

Maybe the installation method can cause a problem:
1. Wipe Data/Cache
2. Wipe System
3. Install Rom . . .
CM10.1 strictly says not to wipe anything. You install the rom, then gapps, and THEN do a Factory Reset. I recall reading somewhere that you will brick your phone if you do not follow those instructions.

Not sure if that's just E971, but i factory reset and wipe system prior to flashing the rom then gapps everytime. I personally havn't had an issue, I don't want to be resposible for anyone bricking their device, just put the procedure I use.

The E97x series is fairly similar but it is completely different from every phone I have played with (galaxy 1, 2, s2x, SIII, LG p500). On the other phones I listed u wipe first but this can cause a brick on the e971 (rogers 2600) and some or all of the variants such as the e973 (bell/telus) which is very close except for its LTE frequency. You have an E973 Haze, and didnt get a brick when wiping before romming?
You can read about some of the bootloops posted here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2004731&page=81

Yes, E973 Bell. I have always wiped data then system on this phone before changing roms. Preforming a restore did the same, wipe each before flashing, so I didn't see the harm in doing so myself.
Edit-No brick here, I've repeated this process at least 30 times by now... no issues.
I re-read thru the link I posted above the previous post. Seems that the cause of the bootloops was an old version of recovery (CWM or TWRP).
If I recall correctly, I got CWM with freegee .5
CWM version 6.0.1.5
Which recovery are u using Haze?
Nice more roms!

Both links are up now! .
This rom was forked from the aokp repo and added in features that i think are better like trebuchet over Nova and devices settings shortcut in the settings up and moved the clock back as it looks messy (in my opinion) and more features as listed above as well as more to come!
First thanks for your work.
While we wait for the rom gummy, proves the aokp build 38.

edit: I saw the link to the rom gummy thanks

Hello, I haven't Forked Rom Control so it must be on AOKP's end and i guess so sorry about that. Hopefully in the next build they will finish up the translations.
More ICS choice for p1000. GREAT!!
I've been on stimpz0r's AOKP for awhile.
How's gummy compared to AOKP?

hi
I discuss something that does not work the gummy rom.
Root, does not superuser permissions .. does not attempt a fix, but I worked.
The lockscreen does not work, or the slide, or the employer.

with the AOKP build I do not have a single problem here with that... I guess you should install here this build with a full wipe data/cache/dalvik...
Hi
Flashed 38 feels quicker than AOKP 37
However google shop don't work for me. At the download accept stage. Says there is a payment problem even on free app.
I did a wipe beforehand and dalvik cache wipe.
Flashed gapps
Any ideas?

i tried Gummy 1.2.0 and stuck on Sim pin-code , keyboard wont show up :\
now Aokp wont scan sdcard media :\

Well, this seems very interesting indeed. Considering franco's kernels are so awesome I figure'd it would be a matter of time before he collaborated to some extent on a rom. How can I not give it a shot?

I'll have to give this a whirl! I ported the maguro version of this Rom a few days ago and i have been blown away by the battery life!
After first setting up everything was fine but after I rebooted, instead of saying Verizon Wireless on the lockscreen and noti pulldown it now says Roaming Indicator Off
Thanks for this! Downloading now. One question: are any of the patches from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=28013063 incorporated into this Rom?

KEBBERSROM V1.4
Note - This is likely the last update for this ROM
Current Version
Download HERE
Old Version
V1.3 here
This is based on the newest official STOCK rom from Acer: Acer_AV041_A100_1.037.00_WW_GEN1
I created this ROM because it seemed nobody had a custom one based on Acer's latest official release, plus there aren't too many ROMs for this tab at all, so hopefully this can help refresh some interest.
It is intended to be as stable as possible, coming from the latest official Acer OTA release. If there are any bugs in it please let me know, as this is my first ROM, so things might not be perfect yet, however I have been unable to come across any bugs and am using this as my DD.
Features:
- Rooted
- Deodexed
- Latest Superuser.apk
- Busybox
- Godmachine version 2.0 kernel (can be overclocked with app)
- 1% Battery Icon
- build.prop edits and init.d scripts for better responsiveness
- all Acer Bloatware has been removed
- Acer Print Application
- V6supercharger
- Google Now (thanks to the folks here and to Civato For telling me how to make it work, while keeping TTS functionality)
- Acer Ring
- Asus Keyboard
- Awesome BEATS
- Entropy Seeder
DISCLAIMER: I will not be held responsible if this borks your system! Remember the risks of flashing custom ROMS!
Tested and working fine installing from CWM5.5.0.4, I have yet to try it on TWRP
Instructions:
Make sure you do a FULL BACKUP BEFORE INSTALLING
Also make sure you do a COMPLETE WIPE (Data/Factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, and format flexrom)
Install ZIP from your SD card (or wherever you downloaded it to)
Reboot!
Screenshots:
I don't have any screenshots of the actual system, as it looks the exact same as stock but here are a few screenies of Quadrant standard on stock compared to my ROM (again benchmarks can be a bit of a crapshoot and may differ by system/setup)

Yeeeeeeeeep. BB6 w/ JB bootloader lol.
Can you tell me what the different features are in ROM control between this and standard AOKP?
Without auto-rotate working, can you choose which mode you want it in (portait/landscape) or is that predetermined?
This is really cool, thanks for your work.

Is the CM10/AOKP theme chooser in this?

After trying four different ROMs this week, this is the one I am going to stick with! Thanks!
A few bugs I have run into:
Downloading build 6 when using the goo manager app downloads a build that is not JB bootloader compliant. The link in the op works however.
Another strange error is that the play store says some apps are not compatible with my device now. (chrome, google play music, and a few others). Anyone else run into this?
Edit: found this version of baked blackbean works on tf300 with auto rotation working and no app compatibility problems.

The one up on goo is for the ics bootloader. We will get that changed to this one. For the time being use the link in the op.
The not compatible issue is likely due to how it reports itself to the play store. We will take a look.

CyanogenMod 11.0
Android 4.4 KitKat
Here it is, freshly built off the source for our device
Enjoy KitKat in all it's glory!
Bugs are expected but major functions are all working, rock stable and good enough for daily driver
Working:
- Cell & data
- Camera & cam
- External SD card
- Mms
- Music & videos
- Wifi, Gps, Bluetooth
- Etc, pretty much everything
Known Bugs:
- Auto-rotation won't work for 20-30 seconds after you turn on the screen
- If you leave 4g in network settings, you can't get back to it only 2g and 3g options are there
- Stock AOSP Keyboard FCs for some users when you swipe, using Google Keyboard from the play store fixes the issue
- You tell us
Instructions *READ CAREFULLY*:
1 - Install CWM recovery. Rom Manager app is good for that (TWRP needs update you will have no signal flasthing with it)
2 - Wipe clean
3 - Flash ROM
4 - Flash Gapps
5 - Flash W03Tweaks for maximum experience
In developer options you can turn on ART runtime, blazing fast! For it you have to use odexed Gapps, link below
With ART you will loose Superuser root access. Download and flash SuperSU to fix the issue, link below

I will try to build these daily, as possible
Enjoy!
-----------------------------------------------------
I present to you W03Tweaks, an all-in-one performance and battery pack made for our t0lte CM11 builds, with the hardware of our device in mind. You flash it in recovery after the rom and gapps, grant root to Seeder and enjoy the ultimate speed. Everything there is to optimize is optimized, killer combo with ART turned on!
The way it's build makes it compatible with current and future versions of the rom, simply re-flash it when you update the rom / gapps
Info about Seeder entropy generator: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987032
What's in there:
CM11 W03Tweaks v1.01 - 20 nov 2013
- Boosted headphone volume. Let's say our hardware capability is 0db, stock CM value was -7db, and our new value is +3db. So +10db boost. Note at full volume you might get a bit of audio clipping if your music is loud and well peaked, just take it down a notch
CM11 W03Tweaks v1.00 - 16 nov 2013
- Simplified multi-core handling
- Tweaks to PegasusQ governor, for optimal speed and battery
- ROW default CPU scheduler
- Seeder entropy generator, to replenish the pool of random data need by the UI
- Disabled gentle-fair sleepers = better deep sleep
- AFTR+LPA sleep mode = better deep sleep
- 2048kb storage read-ahead = better sd cards performance
- Fixed Android 4.3+ possible battery drain related to gsiff_daemon
- Built-in ad-block host file
- Optimised gps.conf = more solid and faster GPS lock
- OTA android 4.4 media sounds (ringtones, alarms, notif, etc.)
- Samsung Note 2 media sounds
- Greater virtual memory values for our big 2gb RAM
- Slower wifi scan = better battery
- Other deep sleep tweaks
- Disabled useless error-checking (logcat still works)
- Optimized mobile data connection (TCP buffers and fixed radio settings)
- Enabled AMR wideband calls for carriers that supports it
- Replaced Dialer and Telephony icon with Google OTA icons

This thing is solid, no hiccups, smooth transitions, and fast! I got stuck with the wrong version of cwm I tried the touch version rather than the original volume rocker and power button combo version, and the flash failed repeatedly. Twrp was just updated so anybody who's a fan could update and try to flash with that recovery but of course not having done so myself it's just an idea!
Please hit "thanks" as I have low self esteem and crave validation from strangers.
