Having come from galaxy s2 and GNEX onto the note 2 which has impeessed me over the past few months I was just wondering if there was a mod avaiable to increase touch response time without using a cm based rom? Currently using wanam v2.4 DLL7 with attached kernel as standard. Ihave tried other kernels but none seem to improve respone time as in a little bit of lag here and there
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to hear that. Make sure to read up on the repair process if you're doing it yourself, as the glass is glued to the digitizer on the note 2. Regarding your first question, nobody has made a mod like that on xda that I know of, probably because hardly anyone else has that issue.

Home screen tilt / rotation is not working as claimed by android after installing 4.1.2
Phone is Yakju with JZO54k...
I think that the claim was meant for Nexus 7 only. I doubt it was meant to work on GNex. But then again, I only think.

a friend of mine got the update and it's working for him. Also, he has noticed an additional icon on right next to settings when you drop down the menu while on Main home screen....

Yes, it is a feature only for Nexus 7

I haven't been on XDA for months and my phone is severely deprived. I believe the last time I flashed a rom was back in October. Well since then, it has been very very slow. I've rejected countless updates that Sprint has tried pushing to me but it has been nagging me for too long and I finally have some time to get things caught up.
So...in short...what's new? What's the latest and greatest rom that you guys would recommend that I try? Anything else new that I have missed in the past few months as far as groundbreaking tweaks and all that? I'm constantly dropping calls lately for whatever reason...
Umm....yeah
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2321867
Also, dropped calls very likely means that LTE is being expanded/upgraded in your area so be happy that they're dropping !
^ That looks like a great rom and it's a very cool port but I'm looking for something less hands-on that doesn't require me to stay up to date with constant flashing.
Just look around...?

My phone is constantly rebooting(no matter what room I'm on) and sometimes it freezes and then reboots(and when it does, I end up with totally different battery percentage). I'm not sure wtf is going on.

I'm not sure if your asking for help, or just wanting to vent. But if your asking for help....
Battery percent being different after a reboot is very common with these phones. Many people have reported freezing and lock ups while using Agat 1.4.3 kernel, and others report the same while using CrossBreeder. Others report that using AIO 4.0 with AOSP lockscreen while having rotation enabled have caused the same.
You could also be experiencing hardware issues..
More information on your part would greatly improve any helping diagnose your troubles.
If you are asking a question, please ask a mod to move this to the QA section.

Well things like answering the phone without touching the screen or the infrared sensor (which lets you switch tv channels) wouldn't work due to the S3 not having these sensor. Also the S3 is lower in performance so you wouldn't be able to use S4 software/ROMs (kinda like you can't use s3 international ROMs with us variants).
TL;DR: No

there is a big difference b/w these two devices
ram,processor,rom,sensors etc.....
so basically u cant have everything without paying for it

I didn't see this talked about throughout the T-Mobile Version of the Galaxy S4 yet, and just wanted to know if it is even possible. I wanted to know if it is possible to edit what you can interact with when the S-View cover is on.
For example when using the S-View cover, you can't gain access to music controls or even swipe away email or sms notifications. You can only answer and end calls, which isn't bad considering that you even get that, but I feel the functionality would be so much better had the music controls been enabled.
No. I am uaing it too. And I dont see any option. Because I think its somthing related to hardware of s4. Not software.
I flashed GE of 4.2.2 and it was still working.

No hardware just detects it software can do whatever once it is detected
Samsung specifically enabled it in the GE too

Yeah this is what I was thinking as well, there has to be some file that can be fabricated to get other functionality out of it. Unfortunately I'm not an software engineer nor do I have any knowledge in software development. I just brought the idea to the table since I see not a lot of people if any are having the concern.
