There is no such thing as battery calibration. Don't believe this crap.
To OP: Go find BetterBatteryStats on this forum, download it, use your phone for few days and then look in the app. You should see, what is draining your phone. If you can't understand, post some screenshots here.
Have you rooted your phone? Unlocked bootloader, any custom stuff, anything?

[Q] Sony Arc, LT15i battery 0%, how to charge?

After update FW 2.3.4 LT15i_4.0.1.A.0.283_Generic Global my SE ARC can not use,
Every press power button to start, it boot into Logo SE, checking SD card, show battery 0% and shut down.
Now I can not charge my phone.
If plugging in charger, I can use normally, but when unplug, it shout down as soon as.
Can everyboby help me, please.
Thanks all
Search forums first next time. Widely spoken problem, and solution is easy.
Pull out battery! Or, if you have unlocked bootloader, enter recovery and wipe battery stats
Also there is an app on the market called battery calibrator, but you need root for it
Let me know if it worked
Sent from my LT15i
Nothing of this works, see:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1272738

Seems this is a problem of Sony Ericsson. Sorry but you're not the only one having this issue, I don't know more solutions. Guess you'll have to wait for a fix, or claim warranty if you have it
Sent from my LT15i
i have the same problem,i just make an update 2.3.4,suddenly i got 0% battery, since there is no solution yet,i will try to change the fuel gauge.and i will post here if it works...
updating to 2.3.4 also cause this issue?
mind if i ask, do u haf root before update? upgraded from 2.3.2 or 2.3.3? upgraded thru OTA or SEUS?
coz previously i had upgrade from 2.3.2 to 2.3.4 OTA, not encountering this issue.
i got the 0% issue, after downgraded to 2.3.2 from 2.3.4.
try with an external battery charger... maybe it ll help..
Charging problems
I have just updated my Sony Ericsson LT15i via update service..Am running global firmware and i have noticed that when charging the phone stop to charge at 93%.And when you remove the charger it shows 100%..What could be the problem??
go sony ericson care hurry
If you have arc there is a temp fix at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1278213&page=30
that seems to work, can't say for sure, got a dam neo.
hi everyone!!! proudly to say that the my problem with 0% battery level was solved... i just changed the fuel gauge then ay relock the bootloader then use flasher tool for flashing the build 181....
i have an extra working board of xperia arc then i try only to change the fuel gauge...its work!!!
Can you give a little more detailed info juvanni?
really! nice job i have same mobile with same problem now will try it!
thanks for info...
Sainty, the problem of my mobile before is no arabic language. so i did,i unlocked the
bootloader and got rooted....so i do the arabic language procedure but my version is
2.3.3...then i use update service to update my version, power on the mobile,i got the
0% battery level... i was surprised that version 2.3.4 is not good for a rooted
device...my fault is,i forgot to relocked the bootloader of the device...
since i have an extra xperia arc with a broken LCD,i borrowed its fuel gauge IC then
put to my 0% battery problem...now, the mobile is working properly without the 0%
battery level....
hint....the fuel gauge ic is near at the battery terminal of the XPERIA ARC...
Thanks juvanni - interesting
Man can you just upload a photo of the fuel guage??Upload a photo showing the fuel guage on the board so that i can find mine and get a replcement..
Yes man can you do that? i mean upload a photo of the fuel guage i am interesting and see if i can change it thks in advanced

[Q] S8500 Bootloop

Recently i turned off my phone and when i went to turn it back on it goes to the bada boot animation then shuts off and keeps doing the same, boot to bada animation, then tun off and on again. im not sure what version of the bada os was on it as i only have it as a secondary phone and never payed much attention to it. Any ideas?
1.
If NO data/backup needed, then Firmwareupdate with Multiloader...
2.
If you need Backup/data before... then try frist RC2 file with Debug Level Mid or High...
So Chance to see Bluescreen with additional Infos...
Only RC2 file in Multiloader, so no data loss...
Best Regards
Thanks for the response. I have multiloader 5.67 and a stock bada 1.2 firmware, i dont need to backup anything so which option do i click (boot change, Full Download, Master Rom or differences Only) and then which files do i flash? all of them? (boot, amss, Apps, Rsrc1, Rsrc2, Factory FS, SHP APP, CSC, FOTA, TUNE, ETC, PFS) again, sorry for my noobiness
hello dmcb123
you need a full firmware in first and flash your phone like this:

Ok so that isnt workin :/ thanks anyway any other suggestions?
What exactly is not working?
More details...
You have tried which Firmware?
Filename...
Example XXLA1 bada 2
Again...
RC2 file with Mid in Name... means Debug Level higher then Low...
Rsrc2_S8500(Mid).rc2
Then maybe Bluescreen gives answer why Bootloop...
Best Regards
did u put ur phone on download mode before flashing ?

Phone wont boot. It turns on, shows the black screen with "Samsung wave s8500" then shows the bada OS bootanimation (blue background with the words BADA OS and and animated circle) then the phone shuts off and turns on again and does the same thing.
S8500XXLA1_S8500DBTLA2_XXX.zip is the filename
Rsrc2 is low

Yes and all files flashed succesfully according to multiloader
Really appreciate the help guys!
Code:
S8500XXLA1_S8500DBTLA2_XXX.zip is the filename
:good:
Usefull info.
Attached is RC2 with Debug set to High...
Highest Debug Mode...
Flash only this file now.
Hopefully Wave shows now Bluescreen with maybe helpfull infos...
Make Photo from 1. Bluescreen, write down or you could use Tool to create text file of whole Debug messege...
Best Regards

Ok heres a picture of the first page
Try to charge battery...
Not power on, only connect to USB or charger...
Check after few hours again...
Best Regards
hmm phone keeps entering blue screen when charging :/
Then flash first normal RC2... from XXLA1.
Code:
Rsrc2_S8500([B]Low[/B]).rc2
Then Bluescreen not more.
Then try to charge... NOT start...
Only this ugly battery Icon...
If then also Bootcycle, then:
1.
Maybe battery not 100 % okay... maybe damaged...
2.
Maybe Hardware damage... as in Bluescreen is CP Call processor and this is the second Qualcomm processor...
To be sure, try first to charge battery...
You could also measure Voltage:

Good luck.

Sent from your computer
Thats... really wierd. You can try one of those;
1. Remove the battery for a while
2. There is a battery calibrator script in the v6 supercharger thread, maybe it helps
3. Install the rom (and maybe the kernel too) again

I had got the same problem when i go back to stock rom. In fact i find a solution, when we flash a new kernel, it's seems we add to erase sometimes the old kernel, then the battery meter works again:
fastboot erase boot
then
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Okay guys, i've flashed lups v16 and it works now
Or you can wipe battery start in cwm
