I read that yesterday but we are facing too many problems porting CM 10.1 to WFS...
It shouldn't be too hard, but we don't have any real developer except modpunk, and looks like he's gone..

Edit:
If something like this is working, why shouldn't propper ubuntu mobile work on our little machines?

A : Nope, I find things off of various websites.
Q: Why does it have to be on ICS?
A: Its MIUI v4
Q: Will I get lags in any cases?
A: Well, I havent found any yet from my experience.
Q: Do you think this is the fastest launcher for the WFS?
A: Im not sure because I was using this launcher on a custom ROM called "Based on CM9" which is the fastest CM9 in this forum.

Such a shame that our devs gave up on the sense 4 port due to trolls, look what the touch 4G guys got:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1751553
Such a shame.
I think its a near impossible task to make sense4 work on armv6..
Probably this will encourage the Dev to continue the sense 4 Rom again

will it be possible to install ubuntu for phones in HTC Desire? What do you think about?
I would say that there is no dev who will be bothered to even try make it for Desire.

well, i believe it will be done sooner or later because desire has the potential to run "that".
In my opinion, I don't think it will be possible to run ubuntu on a low end device like desire.
And if some devs managed to do this, it will have a lot of performance/stability issues.
Even if someone would port it I expect the performance to be subpar so no point.
G7 can run ubuntu .

desire just single core i think not work in desire
I think Android is based on Linux, if the developers think we could have verifications Ubuntu on Desire.
"The instructions for porting are pretty straightforward. Since Ubuntu Touch is just a CyanogenMod 10.1 base with the Ubuntu Touch interface running in a container and accessed via chroot, if your device currently runs CM10.1 then you’ll be able to port this."
I think it is closer to port Ubuntu Touch on HTC Desire than we thought...

While the kernel is only running on one very specific device for now, there is hope for at least a port to the other devices with capacitive buttons as well.
