[Request] back button app killer - Samsung Galaxy Nexus

It b nice to have an app or mod for stock rooted 4.2.1 to kill the app or especially games when u hold the back button..
I don't like how the games stay running when I exit out of them.. I don't want to have to always go into apps and do a force stop on games...

This. There's no reason for a Dev to make you a mod when it's already built in to most custom roms.

No it doesn't - it just removes if from the list...

Even though people are against task killers, have you considered a shake task killer that kills only the current running app?

AOKP and CM10.1 have it...............

PA doesn't...

Why though
Because the navkeys occupy quite a portion of the screen making it only as big as 4.3' so, yes...

Yes , you can. Certain roms have a mod where you can turn the soft keys on and off at will. I use it like that now with AOKP 32 . I use LMT for their "pie" control , where I can pull up a semi circle of icons to navigate when needed.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Aokp has option to completely hide the nav buttons. I love it and use it all the time.

AOKP = Android Open Kang Project = Custom Rom -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1402341
AOKP has what you need but you cannot use Button Saviour with the ICS launchers as they lag too bad and the app dev won't look into it. Use this instead: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150
Thanks guys

you have to get the icons onto your phone, then use a custom ROM like AOKP to apply the image
settings>ROM control>navigation bar> set nav button quantity to 5
set what you want each button to do
then tap on the acutal image for the button
choose gallery
select the letter you want.
enjoy
Is there AOKP soft keys anywhere? I.e the letters AOKP.
Searching for AOKP softkeys returns every softkey thread compatible with AOKP :-/
Thanks

This mod is compatible with all Samsung's ICS ROMs and custom ROMs that are made based on it.

Get jelly bean without a custom rom!!!

Hi guys I have started a thread so that I can teach you that how to get jelly bean on your device without flashing any jellybean custom roms like cyengmod 10 or any other.
Of course you are not going to get the cool new features of jellybean like Google now and project butter but you can make your phone look completely like jellybean.
1) download apex launcher from Google play.
2) then download jellybean theme for apex launcher.
3) then download camera ics from market.
4) then download jellybean keyboard from market.
5) then download jellybean messaging from market.
6) now download ics statusbar from the market.
7) download holo locker for jb lockscreen

}
8) download ex dialer from market and ics theme for exdialer.
......... Now you change the icons from the jb icon pack and your phone will look like it is running jb

Now i think to switch to MIUI

It should as the app is made for tab also.. Just give it try..
Awesome
I am currently running the VSync patched CM10 Experimental Build (just because it is so buttery smooth and awesome) and I have always enjoyed using the MIUI interface.
This lets me have the best of both worlds! Confirmed working on CM10 JB.
Keep up the great work!

Tested and it works and fits on my nexus 7. It's nice, singular but simply none of the elements on the desk works. It gives the 'app not found error'. I'm on stock rooted jb 4.1.1. Anyway just to post the issue. I'm not so interested in it

I think this may be because the theme is designed/written to look for system apps that would normally be in the MIUI ROM.
