you have to get the icons onto your phone, then use a custom ROM like AOKP to apply the image
settings>ROM control>navigation bar> set nav button quantity to 5
set what you want each button to do
then tap on the acutal image for the button
choose gallery
select the letter you want.
enjoy

Is there AOKP soft keys anywhere? I.e the letters AOKP.
Searching for AOKP softkeys returns every softkey thread compatible with AOKP :-/
Thanks
GF

I prefer icons

Possible to remove navkeys, and use button saviour?

So that apps can run full screen?
Thanks
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using xda premium
Why though
Because the navkeys occupy quite a portion of the screen making it only as big as 4.3' so, yes...

Yes , you can. Certain roms have a mod where you can turn the soft keys on and off at will. I use it like that now with AOKP 32 . I use LMT for their "pie" control , where I can pull up a semi circle of icons to navigate when needed.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Aokp has option to completely hide the nav buttons. I love it and use it all the time.

AOKP = Android Open Kang Project = Custom Rom -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1402341
AOKP has what you need but you cannot use Button Saviour with the ICS launchers as they lag too bad and the app dev won't look into it. Use this instead: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150

[request] To fit this lovely pingu live wall paper into SIII

I desperately need someone to help to change the resolution or by other means in order to fit the attached live wall paper apk into SIII.
The apk was extracted from a Galaxy SII because the app is no longer available in google play now.
After I install the apk in SIII, the home screen looks like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Here is the apk: View attachment 1353488
If anyone can help me I will be extremely happy. And you can share it to your girl friend or your kids too! It is really lovely!

Try replacing the APK file manually if you're rooted. It should be in /data/apps and reboot your phone afterwards.

Just flashed over fresh aokp and everything seems great. Thanks for posting. I did have to uninstall old (I think) voice search and reinstall Google Now to get it not to close on me. Haven't tried everything but so far good.
Edit: everything works. Thanks again for posting easy package.

[Request] S4 Lockscreen

I'll take a guess that the s4 is using the android 4.2 Lockscreen... In which case Twiz roms for Note2 will get it when 4.2 officially comes to our device.

I like it to. My wife is getting the S4 so at least I'll get to play with it for a little I have a upgrade to but im waiting for the Note 3. I would love to see rhe font ant lockscreen though on my Note 2
Sent from my SPH-L900 using xda app-developers app
So looked into this a little. The lockscreen on the S4 has its own apk. I think you could make ours look similar by editing the keyguard_circlelock_clockwidget.xml in the framework and replacing the clock lockscreen time .png's. Might have to edit the dimens.xml, Im not sure exactly how to do all that crap.
I haven't devved for Android or modified an APK in a long time but if I get a chance after my daughter goes home today, I'll take a look at this.
[App] Galaxy S4 For all
There is an app in the Play Store called "Galaxy s4 for all". A lot of comments say "how do you get the lockscreen?" but there is one comment that says "even has the lockscreen nice". I have been looking at the app and can't find the lock, but if you guys wanna help, feel free.
