Last night got froggy and flashed cm10.1 now let me start by I have metro pcs service on this phone that I flashed cm10.1 on its had tw fl16 on it for a bit and while on tw it wouldnt roam so after flashing back to tw from cm10.1 because of issues with mic the phone roams now on same tw rom so I hit voicemail while roaming and it says welcome to Verizon wireless any ideas?

I am flashed to page plus. We can not use native voice mail. You will need to dial your number to access voicemail. The rom changes will break parts of your flash like vocemail and picture message.

I randomly lost my data on my flashed epic on cricket..and my phone keeps popping up the hands free activation...plus when connected to wifi it constantly shuts off then reconnects....but my device still says 3g on it but no data...help please?

Did you flash something on top of that custom rom that was tailored for cricket? Did you back to up your rom before this? Sounds like you flashed over your custom rom for cricket. If you backed it is up, do a nand restore.

I didnt flash any roms or anything. And i just restored a backup right after the phone was flashed to cricket and it says 3g but i still have no data

As far as I know, unless they installed a custom rom, you never had 3G working with cricket in the first place.

3g works on cricket with the stock rom, the only thing that doesnt work stock is mms. what rom are you using? I have several cricket roms for the epic.
does it matter? i have sleeper_ROM, i just tried editing all the profiles in qpst. i have 3g icon and now with the upstream bar and downstream bar animates but it no avil. I still cant load pages in browser
So I've been plagued with the ghost voice mail on cm9 and I was looking for a fix. I have heard of the whole activating a non android phone fix but I currently don't have one at hand. I've also cleared data in phone(voicemail)####### in titanium back up but that doesn't last very long. Any help or input is greatly appreciated...thanks guys

Anyways, no one has ever fixed this issue in CM9 (a real fix).
Phantom voicemail has been an issue for CyanogenMod since CM7. See if this works (from a quick googling)

clear phone.apk data ... then call or voice mail and delte your number messages and verify ur numbers is listen corrected in settings for voicemail number!

try sending yourself a picture email. somehow that made my mms over wifi worked and i saw someone post about that earlier.
No it's actually never worked for me because I was on juggernaut 5.0 but dark side says it supports mms over WiFi calling

That was my post. It's a fix from Samsung.
OP: while connected to WiFi, open Gmail using the acct linked to your phone. Send a picture to the Gmail acct to yourself, to the same acct. It should come right away. Next try and send an mms to yourself. If that fails, turn data off and resend, then turn data back on and test again.

thanks I'll give it a shot, cause I deal with a lot of mms and sms and I have to get off WiFi calling every time just to get a damn picture lol

if that doesn't work you will need to do a factory reset. That is what I had to do to get it working.
If it really comes to that I'll just keep doing that I'm doing, on a side note since I've already started this topic and this may be a noob question, I'm new to darkside ics but when I go to my application folder or what ever it is it doesn't have the widgets in with it, other than that this is a phenomenal rom, it's quick, it has improved my battery life considerably, it's much better than juggernaut 5

What launcher is it? I don't know what launcher(s) come with darkside. Depending on launcher there should be an option in launcher settings.

Ok If there was a setting for it it should be somewhere in system settings. Sorry I can't be more help I'm running aokp. Or install a different launcher. You'd have to push into system to utilize widgets in app drawer.

This is Eugene373's rom that includes his kernel and sleep script. Only major bug I know of is screen becomes unresponsive, just swipe palm across screen. I'm running this one.

I recently flash ktoonsez latest aopk rom and now I don't have voice mail enabled on my #1 quick dial. Can someone tell me the number for bell mobility voice mail. I remember 1-647-xxx-xxxx.
Also how do I turn on voice mail notifications?

I pretty sure there are different numbers depending on where you are but here's mine in Atlantic Canada 16473832355. Notifications should come automatically after you get the proper number in, mine does anyway.

For AT&T you can dial your own number. Might work with Bell too

One other issue I'm having is dialing a string of numbers (I don't know what the terminology is) like I dial a number several times a day 1-800-xxx-xxxx, xxxxx#, xxxx# but with this dialer/rom it will only dial the number before the comma

What modem are you all using? Im on the latest tmo version with no issues whether im on a 4.1.1(jedi master 9) or 4.1.2(jedi x9) based custom rom.. did you guus flash a root injected stock or one of teshxx stock updates at some point?
Just trying to see if you all followed the same path at some point or where any "coincidences" may be there to investigate

I had this issue before while they were working on towers around my area
Network on tmobile has been spotty lately some apps load slow app store to will load and the rest wont im the browser is fast at times then slows down
