What you can do is Backup your current ROM using this guide. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2055950
Then odin one click back to EL29 GB full ROM. Stock or Rooted.
Power off the phone completely. Insert USB JIG and it resets.
Then do what it says in the guide I linked to to restore your JB ROM
After that, you will be able to use a JIG to reset the counter. What happens is the bootloader gets downgraded. Everything from ICS and up is patched. So having a GB bootloader will let you use a JIG.

Why does the flash counter matter? Except to return the phone to sprint or Samsung? And in that case you will want to go to stock anyway.

The new version that came out a few days ago works. Where if flashes a temp recovery img so you can reset the counter. Then when you reboot it goes back to your kernel/recovery you had before.

As long as the EL29 (GB) rom has a GB kernel with it. Yes. But the safest way to go is EL29 direct boot kernel and wipe and flash from that recovery.

you answered the question wrong, he was asking if you could flash from the I c s rom to e l 29! the blue cuban rom has a safe recovery so you can flash from that to the el 29 gingerbread rom yes!

You don't need the el29 direct boot kernel to flash back to gingerbread anymore. I just flash my nandroid backup when i want to return back. Or just flash your el29 ROM you want. Just wipe data, dalv, and cache.the recovery/kernels the blue Cuban uses is safe to do that now.

Much better, touch recovery, I was sick of going down long lists, at least you can hold down vol buttons to move around, on GS2 recover you have to click, click, click the vol buttons to everytime. This is even better though.
Thanks for all the love guys :good:
