Are you using a custom launcher? I know that apex launcher has haptic feedback settings of its own

I turned off haptic feedback settings from my apex launcher settings but the problem still persists with Default TouchWiz Launcher !!!
Any solution for this guys ??
I'm also experiencing this using stock Touchwiz and all vibration settings disabled.
Any feasible solution to stop this unnecessary vibrating ?? Or is it a Android 4.1.2 bug ??

Sorry mate. It didn't work. Besides the fact it resetted all my icons and home screen to the default state, it hasn't done anything else.
Still has the problem
In one of the settings for the launcher you can choose from various docks. Also transparant. Isn't that he problem.
can you navigate me where exactly can I find these Launcher settings you're mentioning?
thanks.

I just recently switched to ADW Launcher EX from LPP. All of my phone settings are set for my screen to timeout at 1 minute and not to turn off during a call however my screen turns off in about 5 seconds of inactivity. Anyone know what can cause this?
Edit: and how i can fix it?
Ass may have its own set of settings that override the stock settings menu settings.....check to see if there is a adw settings and if so check the screen timeout in there

I think elixir is on the right track there should be some ADW launder settings and those are probably the cause of the problem.
I don't see anything in ADW settings about time outs.
I was aiming to type adw sorry my phone typoed....but ya....are you on the stock Rom? If there's no adw settings it might be a Rom glitch from not wiping correctly before flashing

On stock GSM ROM 4.0.2:
Go to the "Settings" > "Sound" > "Vibrate on touch", which should turn off all vibrations including the lock screen vibration.

yeah it should, logically..but it doesn't
on the stock rom no way to disable it on the lockscreen
Ok not to start a new topic..
What rom / mod is suggested for daily use... that has these two options:
-turn off vibration on lock screen
-turn off vibration while moving icons / folders / widgets..
Very annoying! Ayone?

I have been using Liquid ROM for a week and I noticed that the vibration disappeared. I dont know how I did it, but it's gone! I hope it's not just malfunctioning!
I have yet to find a Rom that does not have it.

I am currently looking into this. I lowered the vibration in my kernel to lower the vibration on the lockscreen but some have complained that it lowers it too much for their liking for instance when the ringer is off and just vibration on...
anyways, when you toggle vibrate on touch in settings it is not "global" and it remains on the lockscreen.
the changes need to be made in
Code:
core/java/com/android/internal/widget/RotarySelector.java
and
Code:
core/java/com/android/internal/widget/SlidingTab.java
it's possible the changes are in cm9 (they are in cm7) but I am going to merge these into aokp and submit a pull request
How did you edit the vibration in your rom? I would like to turn it up on my phone. I can barely feel it in my pocket when I'm doing something else.
Hi all..this is my first post
Can i remove stock lockscreen
I'm currently running Blacknotes The Last Page, and i wanna change my locscreen using Holo Locker
But when i install i get double lockscreen
I try to remove using :
- Setting -> Security -> Set Screen Lock = None
- Using app : NoLock & No Lock screen
- Turn off in 14toggles
it all doesnt work for me
well i try to disable and enable my Holo Lockscreen and it works but everytime i turn off and on the phone
it back to double screen lock again
I heard it can be done in CM but for now i'm not plan to switch to CM 7 or 9
Try to read 5 related post on xda still no luck
Sorry for repost & my bad english
Thanks :good:
There is a 'no lock' app (actually more than one) which disables the lock screen. For me it only disables stock lockscreen, hope this works for you

Thanks for the respon :good:, but in my case No Lock and the others only disable stock lock screen temporary, once it restarted it back to both stock and holo lock screen

I wouldnt know anything else you could try, have you asked at the black notes Rom thread? Maybe someone there has an answer. Good luck

Yes i think i should ask Rio for that
but my post less than 10
maybe after 11 post i will ask in BN thread
Thanks :good:
Well, just now I found a solution. Since after you restart, it still goes back to double locker, I just Clear Data on the holo locker app, and then I do the Home Key Helper again on the holo locker app. As it looks, I need to do this, everytime I restart my phone.
Hi,
after installation of XXDMB2 DBT with odin I have the problem that after unlocking the lockscreen the first touch on an icon or the menu button is not recognized.
I'm using the nova launcher. But the problem remains with TW. Permissions are fixed.
The navbar is working. The menu button is lighted on each touch - so the first one - but doesn't work on the first touches.
The first and all following screen touches can be seen after enabling the regarding developer option.
Anybody else faces the same problem? What can I do? I would not want to go back to XXDLL7.
Thanks
