If I run into trouble while rooted can I always go to the samsung recovery mode and reset back to factory?
Thank you

Is this a question?
For future reference, questions should be posted in the Q&A section. I see you're new here, so welcome to xda.
To answer your question, performing a factory reset/wipe from recovery even when rooted wouldn't remove root access. In order to return to stock you would need to download the stock ROM for your device and flash it via ODIN.
Thank you

Hey guys can't remove superuser after rooting device I have tried every thing I used superboot r3 to root device originally
Any ideas how to fix
Thanks
If you are using a stock rom just use fastboot oem lock.

You need to flash the stock image from Google and then fastboot oem lock
I don't have the Nexus, but on my OG SGS this was as simple as flashing back to a stock FW using Odin...

This! In the gsm dev section look up chainfires 4.0.2 odin image. Then see if you can use fastboot to relock bootloaders.
You don't need to use ODIN at all, you can do it via fastboot with the Google 4.0.2 image from here:

I agree, but odin is another option...
Thanks for your comments guys but I have flashed to stock using fast boot but has not removed to root. Ie superuser as it's still rooted
I have read all dominations of solutions without success
It must be how I had rooted the device using super boot in the first place can't unroot after using this exploit had the same issues looks like. I have no warranty if I return this if I can't solve this problem
Thanks
Check out the guide here

what the problem is that by just flashing, stuff is leftover. U need to do a full wipe, including the system partition in cmw. Then flash and all should be fine. Just for future reference.

PS post if they say anything about it still not having warranty. On the Xoom, it still says it not warranted after u get it relocked and back to stock. Hope it doesn't apply to the nexus.

Please do not post questions in the General thread, and don't post the same thing twice. I already answered you in your other thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1789606
Update: Problem is fixed. Thanks for all the help in this thread. I downloaded the stock ROM and flashed it.
I ended up following a guide to increase the brightness on my AT&T Galaxy SIII (SGH-i747). I was an idiot not to check that the ROM for the international version. A factory reset did nothing. It now never gets past the Samsung loading screen.
This is the mod I tried to install: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1695559
I can get to ClockworkdMod Recovery and Odin's recovery.
Reverting to stock kernel using the link below doesn't fix it.
http://www.androidauthority.com/galaxy-s3-sgh-i747-att-stock-kernel-99790/
Any ideas on what I can do?
Not too familiar with the s3...But after the flash did you wipe cache /dalvik.... Or whatever they call it now in the s3?
Also doing a battery pull for 10 to 20 minutes sometimes works.

I did wipe the dalvik
Go to android development and use the att link in the topic no tripping stock Counter root something or another..
That will bring your ROM to root.. It's not a kernel problem..
I think that should work. I'm not a pro but fairly confident that will fix you..

And push through odin
Re root and you should be good to go

Thanks for the suggestion. I've fixed by finding the original stock ROM. It was painful, but it was a good learning experience.
I am looking to go back to stock on a Telus Galaxy SIII basically looking for a stock img to flash in odin. I easily found links to stock with root injected but want to go full stock without root.
A guide and link to a download would be helpful.
Thanks

First start here for your root::thumbup:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1980644
You need to install goo manger from the play store too install TWRP!!. But you'll have to be rooted first. Then hour the left soft key on your phone. Then hit install custom recovery, and it'll do it's thing and ya done.
Th green yet to reboot into recovery and you should have your custom recovery installed...
Just my 2¢®
One other place you can go if you get stuck somewhere..

You need root on the device ...
Otherwise TWRP won't flash...
Run CF auto root first....then push TWRP again via Odin...
When done....make a complete backup of the stock rooted build and place a copy on your external SD and a copy to the PC as well...
You'll need it one day...
And do the same with your EFS folder...
Happy flashing....g

Model Changed
This is my first attempt using a custom rom and I Must say I have no regrets
Just a question though.
My device was originally international GT-N7105 LTE, after the ROM change my device model is now SGH-1317.
How can I change it back?
Or should i leave it as it is?
how would this affect my device in near future
Well u r running a rom from the att note 2 port it to ur note from some developer ... it will not affect ur phone for nothing
