Maybe you have somehow damaged your rom. Flash a different rom, and see if it still reboots.

Did you make a backup?
If so, try and restore it through recovery and reboot.

What rom are you using? Did you take the details before attempting to root?
You may need to flash an RUU as it sounds like something has gone wrong while rooting.
The more details the better, carrier/branded etc....

Do you have your rom version eg. 2.29.405......?
Does it have any provider branding/apps in the software?

my phone was unbranded, but my problem is not the rom, it is that my phone can't reboot from fastboot
I'm aware of that, but unless you are S-OFF, there is no way to flash a recovery image apart from using unrevoked as far as I know.
Personally, I would look at running the WWE RUU although this would wipe your phone (not sdcard though).
Your call I suppose. There maybe someone else around with other ideas.....

i dont know what happen to my phone after i flashed the rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1692415&page=9
it stuck in the booting screen, can anyone help me?
Have you flashed the boot.img in fastboot?
If you did that, try fastboot erase cache and reboot.

If that's not working, try asking people in corresponding ROM thread.

yep exactly what i did, tried to flash the new cwm over my already installed twrp 2.2
BUT, i pulled the battery..left it out for an hour, then plugged the usb into the phone, and bam, my pc recognized it again, so i used adb to flas twrp 2.2 back on there, and im up and running again!!
im using this rom, marvelc_vm_usa_v1-1, custom stock, rooted, wifi hotspot etc.. i like it far better than the cm9 rc2 alpha i was on, partition to sd is a must, though!:good:
I just read this post to see if I could help , glad to hear your back up and running

Exactly. I have done the same.. if my battery completely dies then I must pull it.. and use adb commands to actually restart the phone... on my galaxy 3 now with jelly bomb/freegs3 combo.
There is an all in one tool for the VM wildfire s. I suggest you download it. Saves lots of time.

The VM 1.1 from was the best I found by far! Then partition your SD card and use link2sd to have storage.. works well

Dude when someone helps don't only say thanks ,also click thanks
I'm cleaning up old phones and putting them back to default, however my Desire Z won't listen to me.
I've got the stock _WWE-2.42.405.2-signed ROM and flashed it, but it boots up at the HTC screen and stays there for eternity.
Tried making goldcards and nothing works.
None of the links to other files seem to work anymore (RUU_Vision_HTC_WWE_1.34.405.5.exe or Virtuous Fusion (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21640886) - which i know isn't a stock rom but it at least looks like it.
Any help would be appreciated.
I still have access to clockwork recovery and the phone is in S-OFF, just not sure what to do from here.
thanks
