Don't think so. It would require a level of dev support that we dont have.

Anything can be ported, is it worth the time is the real question. They share no hardware, which is generally the first requirement to any porting project.

it's not easy as that. You need to download the drivers for separate hardware and then extract the drivers from the given .sh file.
What do these drivers do or change?

As far as I know, these binaries include proprietary hardware driver support. For instance, WiFi, bluetooth, graphics etc.

No, It's only for tablet mode.
A question guys....if I flash the cm10 (already has the 4.1.2 release) this driver is also in the rom or I should flash from cwm?

They were released after cm10 was updated, I'm fairly sure. Just flash on top!

How much will gnex live?

Hi... I'm coming from a galaxy s2 which is a wonderful phone but when it comes to support aosp based roms it lacks of a good open source kernel... Cm10.1 has a lot of problems on it and every aosp rom you try just don't fell as optimized as the stock one is... So people say that key lime pie is behind the corner and probably it will be the last official supported version... Will we have any problem about it or will we have a good open source kernel and libraries to support any further upgrade like nexus one has (from what it seems to me)?
Sorry for my bad english

Either one of these two methods should work

it is normal that is not updatable Play Store? there is a newer version? I've noticed that does not work opening applications
Inviato dal mio Nexus 4 con Tapatalk 2
Yea that is normal. If you want better Google now support you need a JB rom. You can only get so far with Google now on an ICS device.

Seeing as he's on a nexus 4 he may just be thinking they do the same on any device Google now is on, not that its a hack to even be on ICS.

[DEV] [REQUEST] Porting AlienDroid ^_^

Hey,
i came across this awesome ROM a few days ago and sice then tracked the thread over at Nexus 4 forums:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2344285
This is a review of AlienDroid
Since that ROM is a greatly developed, stable and original ROM i ask myself if someone is interested in porting that to pur maguros to get some fresh wind?

Without source is quite hard, i mean with it should be easy to do. Try to ask to the dev about source
Will do

seems to be nothing more than Cyanogenmod with Halo, 4.3 app(s) and that Alienmods app
He also has some of his own tweaks in the build as well I really hope he releases source I am running this on my wife's nexus 4 and its a stable and yet very fast rom
