I found a small tip to view pictures from stock gallery of sense 4+:
Normally, you open the gallery, choose album to view and tap to picture that you want to view then you could sweep your finger to left or right to view next or previous picture. The tips is that in single picture view, you could do FAST DOUBLE SWEEP (both in portrait and landscape) to make pictures to be view in INLINE CONTINUOUSLY method, that enable you to quickly find/change to other pictures without returning to album view.
I am sorry if this tips may not be new with many people and may not to be new in HTC sense and sorry for my poor English.
Is this foreal? ..
- I wonder if there is ANY sense user since Sense 3 that dont know this feature exists?
That feature has already been known and is on sense 3.6

Hey everyone,
Hope you all are enjoying the wp7 experience. i know i am! This may be a noob question but after you pin the pictures app to the start screen, there is a picture that automatically populates it. How do you change that to a specific picture? i cant seem to find out how? thanks,
it doesn't allow you to select what picture you want, but it changes on its own every so often (not sure what the interval is, but i think its in terms of days), to a different picture in your gallery.

To change the picture on the picture tile on Home page, Tap Pictures tile, scroll to Pictures hub then hold your finger somewhere above the pics & a context menu will appear. Select 'Change background' & then select the pic you want to use. This changes the tile & the pic is also used as the background for the Pictures hub. Cool eh!!!

hey, guys!
I've owned several htc devices before and really liked the way their gallery was set up to view the pics without breaking them down into folders. Is there any way to make the stock gallery look like that? (just pictures organized by date they were taken, not separate folders those pics are in) Or maybe download an aftermarket app? I've tried quik pic on the note, but that app didn't have those options.
Thank you!

The stock Gallery application should have a drop down menu in the top left corner that lets you sort by Album, Location, Time (taken), People and Tags.
Hi all
My stock S3 came with a nice widget that rotated photos from a folder on my SD card, but I lost in when switching to CM10
I have multiple photo folders I'd like to add
Do you know of any widget apps (paid or free) that will allow me to select multiple folders to include into the rotation ??
Thanks in advance

The PhotoGallery widget that's part of the google gapps does this. Well, it lets you pick one album, or shuffle all.
Thanks
Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I meant one that rotates the photos automatically (without having to scroll down)
Not a big deal but was just curious

The Google Photo Album / Gallery doesn't automatically scroll through photos. This is one missed App from TW. I also like the S Planner app but the Wizz Apk is suffice for now.
Does anyone know why some contact pictures are riddled with dumb dots?? I guess its for the dot view case or w.e, but its very annoying. Anyone know how to turn that off and show the contact picture normally???

When a picture is not HD they put the dots so it doesn't look bad.

I don't think this is correct. I just tried using a photo from my phone's camera as a test and it still displays in the dot view.
Is there anyway to display the image without the dots regardless of resolution?

I think I've found a solution.
Visit the "People" app on your phone.
Select the contact whose picture you'd like to update.
Tap the small camera icon with the refresh symbol at the bottom right corner of the current contact photo or stock silhouette photo.
Choose "Gallery" and select the photo you want to use. (Pictures from the Gallery appear to be displayed with the dot view regardless of their resolution.)
Crop the picture however you'd like and select "Done."
Now tap the dot view image and select the refresh-camera icon again. From the sources choose "Google." For some reason my phone had "Google" listed twice and "Google+" listed once.
This should remove the dot view effect from the picture. After I did this I was able to set another contact's picture from the Gallery without it defaulting to dot view so I'm not sure what changed. This solution may not work for everyone and I don't even understand how or why it worked for me, but it did so there's the solution I found.
plz you need to help me guys!

any fix or other great gallery like samsung that is free without ad?
I think you are describing the fact that you cannot scroll past the photos that were just taken when viewing photos from the shortcut at the bottom-right corner of the display whilst in the Google Camera app.
This restriction only occurs when you are navigating into the camera app from the lock screen. This is done for security reasons so that some random stranger/theft who stole a phone whom cannot unlock said phone cannot view all of the pictures on that device.
There are two ways to view all of your pictures:
1. Unlock your phone and then enter the Google Camera app. Then click the photos shortcut at the bottom-right corner of the display.
2. Unlock your phone and then open the Google Photos app.
