Looks interesting, I'll test this out when I can. I like the Framework changes judging from the Screenshots
Looks pretty awesome to me. does this still use the .35 kernel found in rmk's version, or does it use a kernel that allows for replacement by an OC kernel without destroying the rom entirely?
And this ROM is based on ...? Could you post screenshot for Menu -> Settings -> About Phone -> Software Information please?

Glad you like it mate! Cheers!
Thanks for joining the G2 section. We have some really hardworking devs on this side that have been perfecting the Gingerbread Sense experience for us. Downloading now and thanks again, man.
Awesome ROM! Thanks!
Flashed over the rmk prep of this ruu and no issues so far. Thanks for dsp manager. Great work getting that functional! I heard it's hard.
Can we get an unthemed version of this? Perhaps a flashable zip to remove the theming? I'm not familiar with gingerbread enough to change the font, etc....yet...

Downloading this right now, and will have flashed within the next hour. Looking forward to giving this ROM a shot. Thanks for adding to this wonderful G2 / Desire Z community.
I have one question for you, though. When you go through the initial setup of the phone and are presented with the list of languages to choose from, is there one called "English (United States)?" I've tried some of the other Gingerbread Sense based ROMs, and I believe they all don't offer that. Closest one is the "English (United Kingdom)" one.

Would the application "Font Changer" work with this? I know it works well for AOSP based ROMs.

[ROM][2.3.4][JVQ]Continuum v6.1 - v6.2 Beta Now Open![OUT OF SUPPORT]

 Presents:
Continuum v6.1
ROM's main thread
Bug reports
FAQ
Themes and other modifications
Google maps and Street view for those that cant find them on the Market
IRC Channel

Yes, there is no default browser included because the way the default browser was build in JVQ does not allow it to be deodexed.
There are several differences between code contained in .odex and normal .dex files - have a look here for example
The .odex files are build with specific dependencies and baksmali, in this case, is not capable to detect which is the correct dependency or if there are more of them.
So called de-compilation of .dex or .odex files is actually reverse engineering so it was just a matter of time until a change would appear.
We are right now waiting for an update from brut.all and JesusFreke. Hopefully we'll get some update soon.
I have decided to keep everything on my forum as is much easier to manage bugs and other things.
All downloads are hotlinked. Multiupload will be used only as a backup solution

I'm first tester ? What kernel is the best for this rom ? Maybe speed mod ?
Not sure about speedmod Team Continuum has a kernel builder, existz, so we are using Talon kernel.
Go ahead and try Speedmod, used to use it when he had an i897 version, great kernels.
I like SpeedMod however i become on Talon. Great room.
does this also suffer from the "hangs" with the touch display & softkeys ?
this only occured very seldom with JVH but much more often with JVP and can be very annoying, e.g. while gaming and a "virtually" pressed button or slider locking in a certain direction for several seconds
from my observations so far it's an upstream ROM (and not kernel) issue with JVP (currently using Ficeto's JVP Base ROM - it's occuring with DarkCore + Talon kernel)
if this ROM doesn't has this issue I'll migrate ASAP
many thanks in advance for an answer & nice ROM !

most of roms for sgy are customizable. you may customize your rom as you like but make sure you have the original dev's permission if you publish your work to public. it doesn't applied to creeds v2.5 since it has different framework thus make any modification is difficult.

Is the problem only with Creeds v2.5 or with all of its versions? I've even tried replacing the dialer in Repencis with a Creed's theme's dialer, made by Sgy.Creed. Doesn't work.
I don't have older version of creeds so I'm not really sure about this. theme for old creed's are exchangeable with other rom. thus, I think these kind of problem only exist in creeds v2.5.

Topic about real Jelly Bean development

Hi!
This is topic about true Jelly Bean development for Gio. Please keep it clean and don't post if you are not developer!
What we need to get Jelly Bean working:
- AOSP sources
- Dalvik patches for ARMv6
- Qualcomm display HAL's for JB
Team:
Me and Macław
Now I'm working at basic ARMv6 build of Jelly Bean based on "armv7-a" device.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1762641
@up - It's not possible to make ARMv6 build on clean AOSP. And the tutorial? This guy have just copied it from source.android.com
BTW. Jelly Bean is made only for ARMv7, there are alot of assembler code in: debuggerd, valgrind, libaac... I need to fix it for ARMv6

okay then i know that i trought maybe you can do something with it!
must be working with cm9 libs ...
the most libs are also included in jb.
the only thing are the most framework based parts ...
and some libs that can be only built from source .... like audio
the kernel changes ... u got adb working?

Hi, thanks. Good luck!
It's GalaxyICS - now would be GalaxyJB . Or just you 2? What about bagnz0r?
If this is spam i don't mind to delete it.
Greetings,
Hmm, there are changes in dalvik VM, but i'm doing diffs now and there isin't changed much.
Most code for ICS dalvik can be reused, so porting dalvik to armv6 shouldn't be a big problem.
This one would be rather impossible: Qualcomm display HAL's for JB
But are there changes in the JB HAL, i thought there wouldn't be changes in the deep architecture?
I hope the best for you all devs!, don't have much time to help.
Still compiling...
I think that out ICS gralloc won't work on JB...
i never see the source.. but only dalvik need to be patched? what about webkit, v8, webrtc like in ICS?
Only dalvik and a lot of libs with ARMv7 assembler code... Like libcompiler-rt, aac, valgrind, debuggerd...
WebKita and V8 don't need to be patched
EDIT: READY! It compiled without problems
Now I just have to made gralloc from CAF and try it!

[ROM] CM10-2012-11-01,flappjaxxx kernal

Just plain cm10 for now with h0tcakez JB | 3.0.43 For Hercules kernel.
I will be tweaking and changing things as I go. I will be taking suggestions to. If its a good idea and I am able to I will.
I am not a dev, I just enjoy building from source. I will probably wind up with a little from everyone in this rom. I love Slim Bean, I love AOKP but have to pass on the unicorn lol.
This first rom has no cherry picks at all other than flappjaxxx kernal, all compiled from source. I think a kernal compiled with is better than flashing later. But hey, thats just me and might not make any difference at all. I take no credit for any of this, all I did was compile from cm and flappjaxxx source and will be using others soon. I am just trying to give a little back to xda and all that have helped me!
If you flashed cm's latest build and then h0tcakez JB | 3.0.43 kernel than this is what you already have. At least for now.
Thanks go out to:

flappjaxxx for his kernel

As far as add custom kernel, on this device you just pull from the dev's source instead of cm's. In my case it would be: https://github.com/flappjaxxx/android_kernel_samsung_msm8660-common , instead of https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_kernel_samsung_msm8660-common.
Look in your .repo file and change your: local_manifest.xml file. Your .repo file is hidden by default, so open your aokp file and click ctrl + h to show hidden files and there is your .repo
I also recommend reading this thread if you have not already: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1798056
